Hey Bruno,
Can you give me some thoughts on the below? I know you are weary about Pulisic. I might move that to moura for a 2 week punt which would allow me to assess Chelsea options (Barkley, Pulisic, Abraham). I could also trade down Wilson fwd to get Kdb in.
Button, Pope
Walker, vvd, Azpilicueta, Digne, walker peters
Salah, sterling, Perez, Pulisic, Dendoncker
Wilson, king, Greenwood
Thanks!

What’s up! Pulisic’s dribbling stats impress me. I’ve seen him in person a few times and it’s really hard to stop him, he’s like a mini-Hazard but maybe not as strong physically with players bouncing off. He is high on my Watchlist, as are other Chelsea players. I have to read up on them a bit more.
Your team idea is excellent, struggling to improve it. I just never like my drafts that don’t have Wilson. Keep Pulisic as your differential.
If I was forced to write an alternative, it might be KWP to a £4m DEF, then bumping Azpi to Robertson. But that’s optional.
You’re set 👍

Hello Bruno,
I’ve been stuck with these 2 teams and can’t decide between the two of them. Could you help me pick a team, and give me tips on them.
1. GKP: Pope (Button)
DEF: VVD, Zinchenko, Digne, Robbo (Lundstram)
MID: Salah (C) Fraser, Perez, Sterling (Dendoncker)
FWD: Wilson, Jota (Wickham)
2. GKP: Pope (Button)
DEF: AWB, Digne, Zinchenko, Robbo (Lundstram)
MID: Salah (C), De Bruyne, Perez, Sterling (Dendoncker)
FWD: Wilson, King (Wickham)
Thanks!

Hello. Thanks for the comment. I believe you might’ve meant Coleman instead of Digne on Team 2. It’s short £0.5m.
Both teams are excellent, good work. 👍
Leaning toward Team 1 with the core defense of 2x Liverpool and Digne. Plus £0.5m ITB which could be handy to jump on hot players. These defenders are not just top picks with points-potential and fixtures, they will also have high ownership stats with strong FPL managers. You have a shield protecting your defense.
Team 2 has KDB which is excellent, but I’m not sure if it’s enough to make up for the stronger defense in Team 1. Basically Fraser and a stronger defense (plus £0.5m ITB) vs. KDB with a weaker defense (no money ITB).
Certainly worth considering both, and these are only my thoughts which are different, not necessarily right or wrong.
Appreciate you sharing your team ideas.

Hi Bruno, I really like your podcast in youtube.
May you help me, how can I improve my team?
And what should I do with my 0.5m itb?
I might keep it and prepare if there is 7.0 or 8.0 mid or 7.0 striker emerges.
Or just do VVD -> Robbo or buy 4.5m defender (who?)
Heaton
TAA, VVD, Zinc, Digne
Salah, Sterling, Moura, Perez
Wilson, King
[Button, DD, GW, Lundstram]
Cheers 🙂

Hi. No problem, glad you like it. 👍 After watching the Community Shield and seeing all the Liverpool defender options for Klopp this season, I was thinking more TAA to VVD. But you already have him, so TAA to Robbo could be an idea to debate.
Not sold on any £4.5m, maybe Dunk if he goes to Leicester? I would keep your team as is, with a minor note on Moura possibly needing another look once Son returns, and that question with the Liverpool defenders.
Looks great, I might follow suit and go with £0.5m ITB to allow for easier upgrades in case something goes wrong.

Hi Bruno
I hope you are well.
Awesome new video with great content and tips. Fabulous song👍The long wait is nearly over, I cant wait for GW1 to start.
The bulk of my team is set, just a few minor areas to tinker with.
I have a few points I would like your views on:
1)Thoughts on Gary Cahill, Palace new signing and 4.5m defender, one of the better defenders at this price?.
2)Who do you think is the best starting 4.5m goalkeeper. Im torn between Ryan, Pope and Heaton?Anyone else?
3) Is VVD and Robo a better combo to start off with than Robo and TAA, lotsa talk on this after Community Shield, with TAA being subbed early, but yet being the more explosive player. Views?
4) Is everyone captaining Salah GW1?
5) Is Auba not being overlooked GW1, with his potent scoring and even more now given Arsenal’s new players that strengthen their attack and chances?
6) Sigurdson vs Moura for GW1?
7) Wan Bissaka, is he and Man United best to avoid for start and GW1 vs Chelsea?. His ownership is though massive at 36% and he is a bonus points magnet. Thoughts?
8) Lundstram- best 4.0m likely playing defender currently?. Played in midfield in preseason, assisting as well.
Kelly, not so sure about his returns and Palace’s defence and possible price drop if ownership drops?
9) Greenwood….looks like a major talent, but is he best 4.5m bench value option or is possible price drop likely, if ownership drops, especially if he doesnt start or get much minutes?.
Any other good 4.5m starting forwards, that you would rate better options?
Your valued feedback and expert insights would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Glad you liked the video and song. 👍
1) I got excited at first, then I read up a bit and some Palace fans don’t think he will start. That will probably keep me away in the beginning.
2) Most of my drafts have Ryan because his fixtures are a little better. But I may end up with Pope as he has gained a lot of traction in the FPL Community. Burnley’s fixtures are better than Brighton after GW5.
3) My first draft had VVD and Robbo. Then I was at the Liverpool games and switched VVD to TAA. Still undecided because the CS game showed all the options Klopp has on defense, and there are more players who could rotate with TAA than Robertson. TAA isn’t as strong defensively as Gomez for example, plus Milner may get some time and possible starts during CL weeks.
4) I think so yes.
5) Auba is being overlooked definitely, but we can’t fit them all. I prefer Salah and Sterling, which doesn’t allow for Auba or Kane while maintaining a strong team balance. Arsenal’s form in away games is another factor, although to be fair, this is a new season.
6) Prefer Siggy. He’s involved in almost everything. Moura can have games where he’s world-class, then go quiet for long spells.
7) His ownership seems massive, but it might not be with strong FPL managers. Usually Man United and Liverpool players have higher ownership because of their larger number of supporters. I guess we will find out with livefpl.net after GW1 deadline. 👍
8) Yes, I believe so. Agree with you on Kelly, it was one of the reasons he didn’t make my drafts.
9) Similar to Kelly, but a little different in that United haven’t signed a striker. At least not yet. This decision might go to the wire and would feel safer if Lukaku leaves. No real candidates stand out, I need to research it with more time.
Thanks for the thoughts and tips.

Hi bruno, please rmt:
Ryan/ Button
TAA Zinchenko VVD Digne/ Kelly
Sterling Salah (C) Richarlison Perez/ Dendoncker
King Wilson / Greenwood
Planning on using early wildcard. Also not sure if I should go with richarlison or siggy. Also Moise Kean seems like a baragain at 7m could free up funds by using him instead of Wilson…
Appreciate your time, thanks

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. I was doing the GW1 team video which should be up in Thursday morning.
Leaning toward Siggy over Richarlison for the consistency. Richarlison can have games where if things don’t go his way, he drifts out of the game. Agree with you on Kean, but I’d like to watch him for a few games to be sure he’s settling into the league.
Hopefully you won’t need to use an early Wildcard at all!
I can’t improve it. Your team is perfect, one of the easiest to rate. 👍

Hi Bruno, after building a balanced team just one question – whod you choose from 6,5 strikers (3/4gws):
1. Deeney
2. Wood
3. Jota
ps. had deul in original draft but he seems injured. thx for advise

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. I was doing the GW1 team video which should be up in Thursday morning.
Yes, saw that with Deulofeu. Hard to take that risk at the start.
Leaning toward Jota. Then possibly a gamble on Wood with his pre-season form. Deeney can be quality, but his discipline record puts me off a bit.

Hi Bruno,
Great content mate!
What you reckon on Harry Wilson who just left LFC on loan to BOU? Do you think he will start?
Also, a goalie question. Do you think the new rule that own players can be in their own box at goalie-kicks will have some effect on top keepers? I mean, Pep will most likley drop a couple of defenders closer to Ederson in order to build up play. Opposition might then follow and put higher pressure hoping to capitilize on interceptions since MCI always passes through and (almost) never clears. But the high press from opposition will cause big gaps in defense-midfield gap giving goalies like Ederson with his amazing passing foot a change to hit a long ball to Aguero directly who will have a lot of space. Possibility for assists on goalie maybe? Worth considering?
Also, Athoughts on my team:
Ederson (Button)
VVD, Aké, Mee, (Diop , Lundstram)
Fraser, Pérez, Salah, Sterling (Hayden)
Wood, King, Vardy
1. WHU having easier games GW2 and forward so rotating with Mee
2. Possibly subbing Fraser for Lazini and Wood for Haller.

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. I was working on the GW1 team video which should be up in Thursday morning.
Thanks! It’s a good question over Harry Wilson. It could depend on what’s in his contract, but I can’t imagine Eddie Howe being a pushover and giving a player starts without earning them.
Hadn’t thought about the new rule and the impact for FPL. Really interesting points. One way to beat the high press is to go over. I suppose it also depends on the central defenders. If it’s van Dijk, it could be harder to beat him for pace. But I will think of your comment the first time it happens this season!
I like how you’ve fit Salah and Sterling with Vardy. Cutting the defense is probably the best approach. I’m not seeing an easy way to improve it. I was thinking of cutting Mee to an even cheaper option to push Ake to Digne, but it has to be another £4m and one is risky enough to start the season (although Lunsdstram is a reasonable choice).
I might avoid newcomers like Haller, going with proven players I already know can deliver in FPL. But I will add him to the Watchlist.
Struggling to improve your team. 👍

Hi Bruno,
Great to see your back up and running, and really enjoyed watching your first few videos. Below is my current squad, was wondering if you could give some tips:
RYAN – (BUTTON)
ROBERTSON – TAA – DIGNE – ZINCHENKO – (REID)
SIGGY – SALAH (C) – STERLING – PEREYRA – (DENDONCKER)
WILSON – KING – (GREENWOOD)
Considering swapping Zinchenko for Coleman for first few games due to Evertons easier start, but apart from that not too sure what else to improve on so any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks,
David

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. I was working on a new GW1 team video and had to be sure I was happy with my team. Glad you like the videos. 👍
I had Pereyra as a differential, but now I’m minimizing all the risks. He arrived late from the Copa America and there’s a chance he could start GW1 from the bench. I like his points-potential so it’s not easy!
Some options would be Barkley in the same price range, although I’m not completely happy with Chelsea’s starting fixtures. Or bumping TAA to VVD to reduce any rotation risk as Klopp has different options to replace TAA depending on the opponent.
Zinchenko vs. Coleman is close. The problem could be the number of managers who own a Man City GK or defender. Zinchenko gives some protection.
Just the small note on Pereyra. I changed my mind while working on the video. Sometimes putting out content forces me to really think about what I’m suggesting and I would hate to recommend Pereyra then he gets benched. Furstrating because I think Watford can start the season well.
You have an excellent team, one of the best.

Did a complete U-turn… no more Kane. Opened so many doors…
Begovic (Ryan)
Gomez, Robo, Zinchenko, Digne (Ake)
Salah, Sterling, Siggy, Lucas, Perez
King(Greenwood, Nketia)

Can understand it with Kane. Won’t be easy GW1, but I ruled him out because it always felt like the cuts to the squad were too deep (while keeping Salah+Sterling).
I can remember some rotation with the Bournemouth GKs last season. Worst case would be if he didn’t start, and his position could’ve been taken by a £4m GK to strengthen another position. Or another £4.5m GK for rotation.
Defenders and attackers are set. 👍
Just the small note to check on Begovic. It’s a strong team.
