🚨 CONFIRMED! Final GW1 team! 🚨
***UPDATE: I’ve selected van Aanholt in the final spot for Zinchenko. One factor is to reduce the risk of rotation. He was also in my first draft, so it feels right. Zaha stayed at Crystal Palace which increases their attack potential, and PVA is the defender I trust most in the £5.5m price range:
- Top points scorer last season
- Second most clean sheets (12)
- Second in bonus points (17)
PREVIOUS NOTES: Reading up on all the press conferences before posting the final team. Zinchenko will not make my final team. Zinchenko should be ok to start GW1, but I don’t know Guardiola’s plans for his fullbacks after signing Cancelo. I will most likely keep the same team structure with Perez.

Since I saw your update on Zinchenko
It’s changed my team plans and I have replaced Zinchenko with Rico
And freed up some funds to replace greenwood for Joelinton
What do you think about this change?

Hi. It’s one idea that could work. I don’t have as much information as I could on Rico, so I can’t give a proper assessment. I’ve chosen PVA as a straightforward £5.5m swap for Zinchenko that keeps the overall structure of the team.
Up to you with this move, it depends on other factors. Hope my ideas can get you closer to a decision.

because Zinchenko I changed my plan:
Ryan (Button)
Robertson, van Dijk, Digne, Chambers (Lundstram)
Salah(C), Sterling(V), Siggurdson, Fraser (Dendocker)
Wilson, King (Greenwood)
Chambers is a risky pick, but I believe in my midfield, that it bring more points.
I will safe first transfer and make double transfer before GW3:
Fraser/Perez (because MCI game)
one of attackers
and before GW4 propably pick up Anderson because WHU has nice two games vs Norwich and AV and Perez will have hard times with Leicester schedule (MUN, TOT, -, LIV)
and then will see 🙂

Yes, I know what you mean with Zinchenko. Chambers has a lot of potential, I really hope he delivers for you.
Everyone else is ready, you’ve taken one risk which should be ok to do. Your transfer plan makes sense, let’s see what info we get from the first few weeks.

Hi. I’ve gone for a straight swap keeping the same team structure, so that might be straightforward with your replacement? Hard to tell, I chose a player I trust, PVA or Wan-Bissaka are two I can feel confident about.
That’s a difficult decision.

What are your thoughts on Siggy out for either Fraser or Moura and King out for Jota? Would mean Wilson and Jota up front with Salah, Sterling, Perez and Moura/Fraser in midfield.

Difficult one, so close! If absolutely forced to choose, I might give the smallest edge to King over Jota. Both had excellent pre-seasons, but King has better fixtures and no Europa League.
Siggy Fraser and Moura have similar points-potential.

Great to see you open up the contest. It’s up to our decisionmaking entirely now.
Not much has changed from my early drafts. Went back to VVD from TAA too, for instance.
Your yesterdays-team only differed with mine in 2 places. With the Zinchenko-gate now running, your choice of PVA makes a 3d differential.
Instead Perez-Wilson, I choose Fraser-Jota. Leaves me with an extra 0,5 to spend anywhere necessairy, later on. For now I’ll stick to Zinchenko and see what happens. Could still turn to a 6,0 defender in the following GW’s. Also maybe a 5,5 will do and the 0,5 can be put elswhere immediately.

What do you think about this Bruce? Please read my explanations below 🙂
I believe I would want a Def from the strongest defense in the EPL, could swap him out easily if not first team. Have watched the preseason matches, think Moura is more attacking than Siggy + in a better team that would score more goals, can easily be switched too. Jota scored higher than Wilson and as a strong team that will finish comfortably in the top half and with teams countering bournemouth, wouldnt want a double up.
