🚨 CONFIRMED! Final GW1 team! 🚨
***UPDATE: I’ve selected van Aanholt in the final spot for Zinchenko. One factor is to reduce the risk of rotation. He was also in my first draft, so it feels right. Zaha stayed at Crystal Palace which increases their attack potential, and PVA is the defender I trust most in the £5.5m price range:
- Top points scorer last season
- Second most clean sheets (12)
- Second in bonus points (17)
PREVIOUS NOTES: Reading up on all the press conferences before posting the final team. Zinchenko will not make my final team. Zinchenko should be ok to start GW1, but I don’t know Guardiola’s plans for his fullbacks after signing Cancelo. I will most likely keep the same team structure with Perez.

Hey. That’s a tricky one. The problem is he will probably start the next game. I might sell him just to be safe. The replacement is not easy because of fixtures. I have Siggy and he has by far the best fixture, although he didn’t have the best game. Martial was better, but that was one game and now they have a difficult fixture next away at Wolves. Moura I haven’t watched the Spurs game yet.

As did you, I was snake bit by Sterling and didn’t double up on the nice points he just threw up in game week one, after 2 goals from rashford I’ve clearly made my already premeditated move of switching in rashford for vardy, and probably will be contemplating my next move of either switching Fraser for martial or ndombele pending on ndombele performance against city, I loved his invovlent, flare, and like of fear to pull the trigger (unlike sissoko again n again), and as much everyone hyped on eriksen impact i see ndombele being a real threat at 6million. However clearly the main quarrel is do I flip over and make sterling captain in gw2 or leave it on Salah. Law of probability would tell me odds of sterling throwing up another 12+ points back to back after a hat trick game r probably low, and Salah with a one goal and assist going up against a weak Southampton defense seems enticing, but with super cup Wednesday and city at home which is basically a lock to win (and I’m a huge spurs fan-so kills me to say that but safe to say more than likely) sterling still scares me. Obviously no one really knows but I feel like this is one of those traps u talking about, everyone gonna flip to sterling I feel bc of the stellar opening game and I think Salah just warming up and with mane getting more fit, Salah should be cooking in the kitchen in gw2

Good points. The risk with captaining Sterling GW1 is if he blanked while millions captained Salah and he scored. There will be better moments to take chances, so Salah was the smart decision. As long as both score, I’m happy.

Hi Bruno, Good points for you I expect – Similar team to yourself with 88 here which only gives me 660k OR, but the number of people having Game day 1 special teams, with idiot tags like ‘#1 in the world’ & burning TC or BB chips was just beyond silly.
I found a place on reddit (elite_64_ownership_statistics) for the elite64 league of top fpl players where they did the donkey work of counting up which their most popular players are. It lacks any insight or analysis, so only useful for headline numbers, like Salah 98%, Kane 10%.

PS holding my knees to stop a B.Silva to xx kneejerk rage transfer as likely he gets game time next week & want to avoid being sucked into deadwood 1 week wonder.

Hi. Same score here. Forgot about the other chips, there could be a lot in play. There were also a lot of goals for different players, it was opening weekend with a lot of surprises.
The video talks about #Elite64 in a way that I hope you will enjoy. I’m showing exactly how I used it for GW2. It along with my tips and instinct from watching games and other factors of course.
I know, I mention Bernardo Silva on the video. Really difficult because you just know he will start and do well. Eventually, you may have to go with a safer pick for that reason.
