Gameweek 2 Team! 88 points GW1! Time to see if this strategy really works!!! I’m gonna put #Elite64 and livefpl.net to the test when creating my GW2 team and transfer plan.
FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM TIPS FOR 2019-20
FPL GW2 Team
🚨 FINAL CONFIRMED GW2 Team! 🚨
***UPDATE: Final team for GW2. No changes. Sticking with Salah captain, but it’s not ideal with 120 minutes midweek. Klopp said Salah and Mane were the least affected by the extra minutes, hopefully it means Salah will be ready physically. It helps that it’s only the second league game and not deep into the second half of the season when fatigue plays a bigger role. Good luck everyone!!! 👍💯 – Bruno
PREVIOUS NOTES: Same team as the video, only one decision to confirm – captain. Banking the free transfer to have 2FTs GW3 after watching another round of games. Reading up on all the press conferences before posting the final team which will be uploaded here before GW2 deadline.
This might be the blog format for the season: 1) Video early in the week shows the current team and transfer plan. 2) Blog has the latest team after catching up on the press conferences. 3) Blog has final confirmed team closer to deadline.
Thanks! – Bruno

Hey Bruno, awesome vid as usual, just wanted to ask your opinion on potential transfers. I own Salah, KDB, Tielemans, Perez and Camarasa in midfield, with Aguero, Deulofeu and Greenwood upfront. I’m pretty happy with my defence but im worried that i’ll fall behind without owning Sterling. I also feel that Aguero will get less game time this season due to Jesus’ good form. Is it worth taking point hits now, or waiting it out for a week atleast and potentially using 2 free transfers etc?

Hey. Appreciate that, thanks. Can see what you mean with Aguero, really difficult question that needs more time before deciding.
Similar to Bernardo, worried Aguero might not start every game. As you said, it would be harsh on Jesus if he was dropped after recent performances.
Sterling is already one of the players with the highest points-ceiling. I prefer Sterling over Aguero, possibly even when both start. Aguero can still score big, but last season his style changed. He did more running and dropped deeper to get touches on the ball and link up play. It could be why he was being subbed near 60min minutes regularly.
I don’t know… Aguero is a big game player, so I would hate to say for you to move to Sterling now, then Pep changes his mind against Spurs. You know the ownership stats with strong managers, none of my direct competitors have Aguero, they all have Sterling.
The next game is what makes it difficult because Man City vs. Spurs is hard to predict. Will they be cautious and settle for a point, or like the 4-3 Champions League game?
I would need more time to think, especially whether it would be better with 2FTs.

I want to replace moura with decent midfielder . I already have fraser siggy salah and sterling .Should I stick with it or move to zaha or martial? plz suggest !!!

Moura is a decent midfielder. 🙂 I might put Fraser also on the chopping block after that performance from Bournemouth.
If forced to choose for GW2 only, it’s a tie between Zaha and Martial for different reasons. Zaha looked dangerous but only had 30min as a sub. Martial had a better team performance, but he has a more difficult fixture GW2.
I wouldn’t be able to pick the replacement at this moment. I would add a third option, to consider banking the transfer in case you need to move both Fraser and Moura out for GW3 without a transfer hit. Fraser plays Man City GW3.

Hi Bruno,Can u suggest me a 4.5m defender for the upcoming fixtures
Upper 90 Studios
13/08/19
Hi. Not sure if I have one just yet. Dunk is probably the one I would’ve chosen had I gone with a £4.5m defender initially. But it was tougher with Ryan alongside.
I’d like to watch more games from the weekend and catch up on some reading. There was a commenter on our YouTube channel who mentioned Brighton’s Montoya, but I’d have to watch that game vs. Watford as I only followed the play-by-play commentary.

Hi Bruno…I started to see your videos recently and I love it. GW 1 I got 84 points.
The question I wanna ask is I have aguero, sterling and salah, and I don’t wanna sell aguero.
I have aguero, king, salah, sterling, siggy, norwood, TAA, zenchenko, dinge , Rico and Ryan in my playing 11. Bench fillers in subs.
What would you recommend me.
Thank you

Hi. Great to hear, thanks. Congrats on a solid start. 👍
That is the most difficult question, Aguero. I had a section on Aguero in the latest video and deleted it because I know what he can do if he starts, even when he doesn’t!
Now you know that none of my 15 direct competitors own Aguero, so as long as he is keeping up with them by scoring, you don’t need to change anything.
But if he blanks and other highly-owned players score (that you don’t own), then you can reassess. Owning these most-selected players protects you from falling behind strong FPL managers.
Maybe your score buys another week of information, and anything can happen with Man City vs. Tottenham.

Hi, same as on the video, Salah. If it changes, I will note it on this blog post. Thanks.

Hi Bruno. I just checked the heatmaps for Liverpool. Arnold 73 touches, Djik 71 touches and Robertson 96 touches. Robertson heat map show he is doing alot of more work doing runs on the side and spending more time than his Arnold and Djik on the opposing teams side of the midfield. Dont you think this shows he is more on the attacking side than the A and D?

Hi. It does, and is great to see those numbers. 👍
I liked what I saw from Robertson and his heat map is great news. His runs will now have Mane alongside, overlapping and crossing, setting up Mane to score.
Your data is helpful, thank you.

Good score buddy. Also had a very good gw 1 with 95 pts.
Have fpl chnaged the price rise fall algorithn again. Not even a single price change yet.Last year was much more faster than this.
Upper 90 Studios
13/08/19
95pts? That’s a dream start to the season, nice moves. 👍
That is a really interesting question. I’ll have to look into today. Last year prices did change early on, and I remember being surprised.
If the algorithm changed and prices change less frequently, this could buy more time until the press conferences before making any transfers.
Thanks for the heads up.

Hi Bruno,
I have almost the same team as you but got kept zinchenko for GW1. I made my mind up after United game to bank my transfer. But, do you reckon I should go with lundstram in the lineup instead of zinchenko who plays Spurs next? I some what doubt City will get a clean sheat..
Upper 90 Studios
13/08/19
Hi. Good idea and question. Both players are rated red GW2 according to our fixture cheatsheet.
I need to go back and review some of the games again with more focus on other things, like Tottenham’s attacking potential.
It’s not easy. Zinchenko provides cover against strong FPL managers. He is the safe choice. As you said, it might not be as easy this round for City to keep the clean sheet.
If forced to choose one at this moment, I might prefer Zinchenko as a safety net, but I can understand your idea with Lundstram.

When you click on your league, it’ll have numbers on the URL address bar at the top.
The numbers are the league ID.

Hi Bruno, could you rate my team please
Ryan
Maguire, Robertson, Zinchenko, Dinge
Fraser, Salah, Sterling, Sigurdsson
King, Jota
Bench:
Button, Murray, Lundstram, Dedoncker
Biggest concern is with Murray as Brighton seem to have bought a number of attackers. I purchased him as a potential penalty taker. But at 6m he’s an expensive bench warmer. Not sure who I’d replace him with. Sharp didn’t start; Origi is an option as a bench player (possible super sub with Mane coming back).
Slight concern over Maguire as I’m thinking Bissaka may have more assists. Fraser, Sigi, King fired blanks (but then some always will).
I’m not planning on transferring this week but I’d value your thoughts.

Hi. It looks ready for GW2. 👍 No concerns with the starting XI, and your benching headache is a good thing. It gives you proper cover in case someone doesn’t feature.
Good point with Brighton and Murray. I didn’t expect that performance or result, but it is a factor to consider going forward. I would keep Murray for now, the one who might deserve to be on the chopping block is King. He has to deliver GW2, or at least show a massive improvement from the first game.
I prefer Murray over the possible replacements for different reasons. Murray has the edge in PL experience. I like Origi as a player, and he’s done so well, but he might not get consistent starts with Mane back.
Maguire should be ok, he is a threat from attacking set pieces.
I would consider keeping it as is and watching one more round of games before making a decision.
