Gameweek 2 Team! 88 points GW1! Time to see if this strategy really works!!! I’m gonna put #Elite64 and livefpl.net to the test when creating my GW2 team and transfer plan.
FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM TIPS FOR 2019-20
FPL GW2 Team
🚨 FINAL CONFIRMED GW2 Team! 🚨
***UPDATE: Final team for GW2. No changes. Sticking with Salah captain, but it’s not ideal with 120 minutes midweek. Klopp said Salah and Mane were the least affected by the extra minutes, hopefully it means Salah will be ready physically. It helps that it’s only the second league game and not deep into the second half of the season when fatigue plays a bigger role. Good luck everyone!!! 👍💯 – Bruno
PREVIOUS NOTES: Same team as the video, only one decision to confirm – captain. Banking the free transfer to have 2FTs GW3 after watching another round of games. Reading up on all the press conferences before posting the final team which will be uploaded here before GW2 deadline.
This might be the blog format for the season: 1) Video early in the week shows the current team and transfer plan. 2) Blog has the latest team after catching up on the press conferences. 3) Blog has final confirmed team closer to deadline.
Thanks! – Bruno

Hi mate, i’ll just start with your FPL videos are the best on YouTube good work fella! I played my wildcard as soon as Adrian conceded the goal so I’m pretty relived to see your thinking of playing yours. I also have two expensive Liverpool defenders and also three Bournemouth players and Man City coming up I felt it was the right time.
My current team
Ryan, VVD, Robertson, ake, lundstram (FPL LEGEND), Sterling, KDB, Salah, Perez, Wilson, king
My 1st draft team
Ryan, Laporte, wan bissaka, digne, mount, trossard, Sterling, KDB, Firmino, Kane, pukki.
Trossard is a bit of a punt but with an impressive record in Belgium he was OTW and was unlucky not to get two goals in his first game and had 3 big chances. Mounts goal yesterday might have solidified his starting place and again someone I’ve watched out for since he was at derby the 20 year old can only get better 6.0 is very cheap.
What are your thoughts on my differentials could do with your expertise?
Also can you delete my post with my email didn’t mean to share that haha
Cheers

Hi. Thanks! Always great to hear that. 👍 Yes, it is super early, but a few big issues were creeping up with my team also, the time felt right to use the Wildcard and take a chance.
I like your team. Need an update on Lucas Digne’s hamstring problem. No Salah or Mane is braver than I might go for, b ut it’sup to you. I see what you’re doing with Firmino who has also been dangerous.
Mount and Trossard should be ok. I don’t have the best assessment of Mount just yet, but it sounds like you have a more clear idea into his potential. Trossard looks sharp and Brighton have been more attack-minded this season.
Your team is already strong. No concerns with the differentials. I may go for McGinn or Ceballos, possibly neither! I’m keeping my options open and taking my time before finalizing the team. The only suggestion might be to draw up another draft with Salah or Mane to compare to yours, then decide. But it’s strong already.
I deleted the other comment. 👍

Sorry didnt mean to send my email on that first comment!
So start properly this time…
hey Bruno haha!
With the livefpl.net, is it live 24/7? So if i look at the stats this second, the elite 64 will have made there transfers after the GW by now? And, it will show completely up to date?
I like both strategies you use with the elite 64 league and i am just getting to grips with them now.
As you stated, the 15 managers strategy isn’t a precise update of their teams, just the GW prior.
Love your work. I hope you are going to make the difference for me this season and many more to come. Credit to yourself for all the effort put in, awesome stuff.
Thanks

Hi. I deleted the previous comment, no worries. I spotted it quickly because I was signed in.
livefpl.net does not show live current teams. We don’t know what their actual teams are right at this moment.
For example, the teams you’re seeing right now are the ones right after FPL refreshes/updates on Saturday before the first game. Any changes managers have made since will not show on livefpl.net until after the next deadline. Once the game refreshes again.
These strategies are useful throughout the season to keep an eye on the biggest threat to our rank. We analyze competitors, then make decisions using all the information. Instinct is key of course.
You didn’t ask, but if you come across my video on the Wildcard, keep in mind that using it this early has a risk of going away from the Elite64 template and losing ground against strong FPL managers. There are benefits as well, which I will discuss on the next video.
Thank you for the nice words. 👍

appreciated the feedback
so i saw that you were opting to trade in Salah for Mane. At 42% of players still holding on to Salah, is it jumping too quick off him? or you have a feeling between the two they will wash out in the end and have similar stats. I was just asking based off the idea of the core team, most people in my league still have Salah so im reluctant to give him up but i was messing around with ideas and if i were to trade for Mane and trade in de gea for pope id free up enough money to keep the 4-5-1 formation with a mid field of
Sterling-Mane-Ndombele-Son-KDB which to me sounds like a strong 5 but anything can go wrong obviously. Martial has scored two goals and the fixtures are easy coming up but just wondering if he getting enough shots off for looking long term. Son i imagine is def going to start we cant not start him, and after a solid draw against man city which could have easily been a loss, i think the spurs look pretty decent this year so far and son should only at to the attack stength. You think im spending too much on a premium goalie like de gea, the fixtures are great but pope looks like i could get away with a bit cheaper, solid fixtures coming up, looked alright against arsenal. Any advise would help, trust me i know what you say isn’t gonna exactly happen and i wont start bashing you and blaming you for my team results. You been very helpful and i realize at the end of the day its my team. just wondering her u interpreting some stats and how u feel about son and pope.

It’s likely that I will have both Salah and Mane in my Wildcard team. I’ve only sold him temporarily because KDB’s price was rising.
Yes, I will make mistakes. I can only give positives and negatives on the players, then it’s up to you to decide which of my tips make sense to you. 👍
I like all your points. I’m not quite ready to invest on Son without seeing him play this season. But he is a phenomenal player and I already have him on my Watchlist.

Sorry, last one for this gameweek3 was just messing around with some ideas
what you think about this idea in order to squeeze everybody in and maintaining balance, i feel like if i want to do this, now is the only time before peoples stock start flying off the handle in the coming weeks. If i try and save two transfers for game week 5 i can make a 3 man move to set it up then but the prices probably wont allow me down the road then. please let me know what u think, if its too thin or just the right dosage.
Pope
Wan-Bissaka, Dunk, Maguire, Walker
KDB, Sterling, Mane, Salah, Cantwell
Pukki
as oppose to what i had before with
De Gea
Dunk, Wan-Bissaka, TAA, Walker
KDB, Martial, Sterling, Salah, Ndombele
Pukki
just let me know which team u think has better potential

Don’t worry about it. Reading your new thoughts and ideas makes me think about my team. 👍
Actually, I have the same decision for my own team, but with a different player or two.
The points ceiling in the new team is exciting. The concern is that it places a lot of pressure on a few teams – with players in similar positions – to deliver all the points. For example, 2x Man United defenders, 2x Man City attackers, 2x Liverpool attackers and the most worrying, 2x Norwich attackers. If one or two of these teams have an off-day on defense or attack, it could be a low score. I can imagine your bench might be weaker than you wanted in this draft also, as in no bench. 🙂
The previous team spreads out the risk. If Norwich’s attack is off against Chelsea, the impact to your score is smaller, and you can be saved by other players.
I’m currently leaning toward the idea of spreading out the risk. It could also allow bench cover or rotation.
Both are amazing. It’s up to you to decide how much you want to risk. Monster points ceiling with a risk of backfiring vs. safe, calculated and strong, but a little lower points ceiling.

Nice to know I had ur brain stimulated a bit. I totally hear u about the risk and I am relying on a few teams so I thought about what you said and figured there must be way to minimize some risk.
Pope (reduces me having to transfer a goalie sooner since he has decent fixtures after gw4. Held arsenal to two goals and had a clean sheet on Southampton, shouldn’t be as big a risk for now with a lot of people having Pope and Ryan still)
Dunk- wan bissaka- walker- lumdstram- (kelly) kelly isn’t much but he’s played 90 min both game weeks so if I need to rotate on a tough fixture I can root for palace and they should come around eventually, looking to work in PVA when the times right with fixtures, one Man U player to at least cover those good fixtures even if i don’t have martial and rashford at the moment, at least I can cover the clean sheets and some attack potential with bassaka, at this point Liverpool defense with Adrian in goal looks like they could easily give up the one goal even if they still winning games, I just have too much faith in man city against any team I feel like they could clean sheet and walker has assist potential, dunk I think is underrated and Brighton looking solid this year and lundstram just cuz he’s 4.0 doesn’t mean he can’t have a break out interesting season.
Salah- Mane- de Bruyne- Sterling- ndombele ( if ur gonna rely on two Liverpool players I think Mane and Salah r the guys, usually they feed off each other and if one doesn’t have a good game it’s usually the other that does, not having the best player on man city is insanity and as long as KDB healthy he’s just got too many people to give he sweet passes to. And ndombele now gives me less Norwich reliance and spurs cover who should be feeding Kane and son and Lucas, I really think it’s only the start for him, and as the season goes on he should be flowing free with balls in the box.
Pukki
Guys a born goal socerer enough said
I think I’ll give this at least one week or two depending on the performance of Son, KDB, Cantwell, Ndombele, and Niles, even if my risk is high rn my high priced players still give me lots of movement options in the coming weeks now that I used my wildcard. I’m only two weeks away from a triple transfer selling one high price player and reducing the risk again. It’s just so hard to not have KDB and Mane if I’m not going for premium strikers. I think too much people r still relying on Liverpool defenders with Allison out, except TAA with all his attack potential but at 7.0 I see so many other defenders who could give u points gw5-10 at a lower price
