Gameweek 3 Team! 47 points GW2 (AVG:41PTS). What have I done? I used the early Wildcard after just two games! Was it a big mistake? See what I was thinking before I smashed that big red button for GW3.
FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM TIPS FOR 2019-20
FPL GW3 Team
🚨 Final GW3 Wildcard Team! 🚨
***UPDATE: This is it. I’m experimenting with a new Wildcard strategy – to keep a sizeable amount of money in the bank. Normally, I would maximize the squad strength by using all the funds. If everything goes well, I can improve the squad depth or make small corrections. If it goes wrong, I can use the money to counter Wildcards GW4. I do not recomment this “all-star” bench for anyone. 🙂 It’s a massive risk GW3. If Digne is out, I could be down a player. Trying something new, good luck everyone!!!
I will get to the comments as soon as I can. Thanks! 👍💯 – Bruno
Previous updates:
*Provisional GW3 Wildcard team. Waiting on the last press conferences before confirming these players. Salah returns to the squad in place of KDB. Maguire and Martial also come in.
*The questions about the bench… sorry about that! 🙂 I don’t have one, I’m going with the cheapest bench players. This frees up the maximum ITB funds to match up against Wildcards GW4. Super risky, never really tried this before on an early Wildcard. Digne might not even play which could leave me a player short GW3.
*I am keeping an eye on price changes here: http://fplstatistics.com/ I may swap out some of the players in my team temporarily by staying up-to-date on the price changes. For example, I’ve brought in KDB for Salah, but I will likely have Salah in my team by deadline.
*Lucas Digne looks to be back in training.
*We also need an update on Lucas Digne who was forced off with a hamstring injury.

Hi Bruno,
First time writer. Love your content and massive effort to help us all.
Like you I’ve gone with WC this week. Solid enough start on 139pts but felt like changes were needed, away from double Liverpool defence, had the King/Wilson double up front, Perez/Siggy not firing. How do rate my new squad:
GK: Pope (Button)
DEF: VVD, Digne, AWB, Dunk (Lundstram)
MID: Mane, Sterling, KDB, McGinn (Cellabos)
FWD: Pukki, Firmino (Wickham)
Thanks and glgl

Hi. Welcome! I like it. Your defenders make up the majority of my drafts.
It’s strong already. The only other idea might be another draft with Salah and Martial. This requires just one forward, Pukki, but it does force a cut to one of your premium mids. And that is the hardest decision, so keep your squad as the main one to compare others to in the future.
Thanks for the comment. 👍

What do you think about Harry Cane home against Newcastle?
Upper 90 Studios
21/08/19
That is a difficult question. Newcastle were strong away from home last season, but that was under Rafa Benitez. Our fixture difficulty cheatsheet shows a red fixture for Tottenham attackers this week, but it needs more performances and results to update the algorithm.
Newcastle conceded three against Norwich last week, so that’s another factor. I’m having a hard time predicting this game, so I don’t have the best assessment of Kane at this moment. I can see him scoring, whether he can score big, I can’t tell.

Hey Bruno,
Great video as always! I’ve been loving the content you’ve been producing this season. Ignore the haters man!
Please could you advise me on my team:
Ryan (Button)
Robertson – Van Dijk – Digne – Zinchenko (Lundstram)
Salah – Sterling – Siggy – Perez (Dendoncker)
Wilson – King (Greenwood)
Been so disappointed with the Bournmouth players, Siggy, Perez and Robertson too. Would you advise WC? I have 2 free transfers which is annoying but leaning towards playing WC like yourself.
Thanks Bruno!

Hey, thanks! 👊
It’s such a difficult decision with the Wildcard. I went with it early and was able to catch many price rises from the start. You might be better off doing the same in an upcoming Gameweek. I like to confirm the Wildcard straight away in the week.
If you don’t use the Wildcard, one idea could be to consider Pukki and KDB or Martial. That would be a good start to fight off those impatient people! 🙂
With the Wildcard, Wan-Bissaka and Mane could also make the list.

Hey Bruno loves the contet you are making!
I’m on a wildcard currently and my question is if you have any suggestions about my team
GK:
Heaton and Pope (rotation)
Def:
Laporte, Van Dijk, Digne Maguire, Lundstram
Mid:
Sterling, de Bruyne, Martial, Lanzini, Cantwell
Att:
Kane, Pukki, Greenwood
Is it safe to go without Liverpool attackers? I haven’t been impressed by their attacking play yet.
Thanks Bruno!

Hey. Glad to hear that, thanks!
I’m thinking of going with 2x Liverpool attackers, so it’s not an easy answer for me! I like your team, I don’t really know what to say. You could consider drawing up another draft with at least one of Salah or Mane then compare to yours.
But keep yours because I’m struggling to find a major weakness. Maybe if I was forced to choose something, I might say Lanzini can be a bit inconsistent, but it can work when he’s in good form.

Hi Bruno,
Once again GREAT video! I’m glad you are ignoring the negative comments, your content is BRILLIANT and is helping me a lot. Really appreciate your work! I haven’t activated wildcard yet but i did buy Pukki to benefit from price rise!
I am on FNYSY PL to analyse the elite64 league, are we able to see on here the most transferred out player and the most transferred in player for GW3 on this Elite64 league? I know you have mentioned this on your video’s before but i was wondering if you could kindly share how you would analyse the data on here? I’m looking at the data and dont know what to make of it! Any tips will be greatly appreciated! I am taking FPL seriously this year and am following you closely! You have helped massively and last week i played Lundstram which helped me get 55 points!
Once again THANK YOU Buddy!!

Hi. Nice move with Pukki, and thanks! 👍
No, there is no website that shows who the #Elite64 are buying or selling. We won’t know until after the deadline.
One way to think of it is that the stronger managers are mostly conservative. They don’t make a lot of transfers. So even if you see their team from the previous week, you will have a strong grasp of their player ownership stats.
You can then use this information to build a safety net on your team with some of the #Elite64’s most-owned players. This is just an example, but let’s say that at the start of GW3, 100% of managers in the #Elite64 have De Bruyne. You could consider bringing him in soon because if he scores and you don’t have him, you risk falling behind strong managers who will be near the top of the rankings at the end of the season.
I have other videos discussing the #Elite64, possibly the GW2 video on Youtube. Thanks for your support! 🙂
PS: I accidentally sent you the wrong reply earlier.

Hi Bruno,
Good day..
Enjoy ur great tips and video as usual. Thanks for sharing all your insights so far..
Would you predict watford’s Deulofeu start performing up to expections? Somehow I have a feeling he’ll start firing up soon..
Any comments on this?
Cheers 👍🏻

Hi. No problem, glad you liked it. 👍
Watford are probably the team I have the least information on at this moment. I don’t have even a small assessment of Deulofeu at this point. If you have any info, please feel free to share. Sorry about that!

Hi Bruno,
I had used up my two free transfer to bring in pukki when he score the hattrick
But after watching your video, I am thinking to take a -8 hit to bring in de bruyne and McGinn for Fraser and pulisic.
Do you think is worth the risk at this point of time.
Appreciate your thought on this.
cheers

Hi. That’s a difficult question because of the transfer hits. I’m completely stuck! It might not pay off on the very next Gameweek because of the -8 hit. But it could work in the long-run.
I don’t know, sorry!

Hi Bruno. I woke up the other day in a panic when you initiated your wildcard as I didn’t even have a clue how to do that and I jumped on the wagon without realizing the price change advantage of the wildcard. I came in a bit late after the changes in price had already taken effect. Needless to say, I still traded at higher costs for the players I wanted. Lesson learnt for next time. I even tried to be clever by bringing in players I didn’t really want but those that I thought I could sell back at a profit before deadline. Good concept in theory but the players that did appreciate are the ones I really don’t want to get rid of.
I felt positively ill about shipping out Salah for KDB because as much as I want KDB , I just can’t let Salah go right now so I brought him back. The only way to compromise is to get rid of Mané. I feel that would be a mistake.
So end of day my question is this.. I need mini league insurance as everyone has Rashford and I don’t. Should I force this purchase into my team or should I hang on another week based on Man U fixtures for GW3? I think based on fpl statistics price for Rashford might increase so maybe it’s worth bringing him in only it to sell off at a profit before deadline? Once I figure that out I will be more clear on funds available. Rashford is 8.6 and to be honest I really don’t want to take him right now unless I need to based on the risk factor in my league.
And oh!! Thanks for the delay sending out your last video! After refreshing every few minutes waiting for it with great stress and anticipation… I explored your site and your music is out of this world amazing! If anyone hasn’t checked it out please do! Our time zones are a bit out as I am in Mauritius so usually get the updates a bit late. Please can you also sell me the idea of McGinn.. I don’t know him at all.. so many questions..
As always, you are superb!

Hi. Oh no. Wish you had gotten on the right side of the price changes, but it’s ok. There will be more moves. It seems you are on the right website to keep track of prices: http://fplstatistics.com/
My current Wildcard team is not really what my final team will look at by deadline. I’ve bought and sold players based on the transfer market.
If forced to choose, I might prefer Salah over KDB. But for now, I suggest you still sell Salah soon, buy KDB and see if his price rises or Salah falls. Then before deadline, switch them back again so you can potentially buy back Salah for a cheaper price. Sometimes we can build Team Value this way on a Wildcard with unlimited transfers.
See if you can bring in Rashford without selling players that are close to rising in price. Then you can benefit from Rashford’s price rise if he goes up tonight, then decide closer to deadline whether you want him or not.
McGinn and Ceballos are two players I’m considering. In the case of McGinn I think he will score goals because he takes a lot of shots and has excellent technique. But a few people have mentioned that he can also pick up yellow cards, so I have to look this up.
Thanks for the great comment, Mauritius looks amazing. 🇲🇺
