Ola Bruno
Have 2 questions for u:
1.When will the Fixture Spreadsheet be released (Hoping for before deadline this gw🙏)
2.Im planning to get Jota in for Mousset but cant afford it as im 0.5 short , who u suggest i sell between Snodgrass(5.2) Madisson(7.3) Ings(7.1) and Vardy (9.4) , have KDB as well
Who would u sell and bring in 🤔
Keep in mind im not using FH 31

Ola. 1. Already started working on it. I was waiting until the results from GW29 so I can include the latest stats, but I’ll see if I can get it out sooner.
2. That’s a tough one. Depending on performances, and if you can wait until right before GW31, then I might say Maddison or Vardy. Snoddy could actually be a nice differential for you in the blank against a shaky Spurs defense.

Hi Bruno, hope you are well.
I have 2FTs and 0.1 Banked
Current Team
Pope (Button)
VvD, TAA, Stephens, Fernandez, Tanganga
Salah, KdB, Maddison, Traore, D. Luiz
Vardy, Inges, Jimenez
It seems Vardy is back and Leister has a good run of fixtures GW29 and 30, but should I sell him to free up funds to purchase a premium defender or midfielder. So was thinking bring in DCL, for FT 1 to free up funds (would have 3.3 banked). Then either use those funds and take out Tanganga for Doherty. That would use up my 2 FTs and I’ll have 1.2 banked for a GW 30 move. – OR – use the 3.3M to upgrade the midfield (maybe Traore out for Richardalson or Fernandez (MU)?
Appreciate your thoughts.

Hi. Doing well, thanks. I’m having a harder time rating other teams this week. I’m going super risky, it feels like against everyone else’s advice! 🙂
If you make the switch, leaning toward the premium defender option with Doherty. Still a few games for Traore to prove his worth for the blank.
At this moment, I prefer Fernandes over Richarlison. Everton have a blank GW31 after Spurs lost to Norwich in the FA Cup. I might give an edge to DCL over Richarlison as Everton cover.
Interesting that DCL just signed a new deal, although I can see your point with Vardy. I don’t know… since I already moved for DCL, it’s easier to stick. For Vardy owners, I can understand the dilemma with the favorable fixture. There’s also GW30, I will likely bench DCL against Liverpool and play Sarr or Traore depending on performances.
Those are some thoughts for now.

Hi Bruno
l hope you are well and apologies for not being in touch……too much work!
l had been floating around the 70k-90k mark over the last 5 weeks until GW28 nightmare scoring 23pts taking a -4 for Grealish > Barnes dropping down to 134k oouch!
Below is my current team: 1FT/WC/FH/BB/£0.5ITB
McCarthy – (Button)
TAA / VVD / Stephens – (Fernandez / Rico)
Salah / KDB / Barnes / Traore – (Noble)
Aubameyang / Ings / Vardy
At the moment l have the armband on Aubameyang and vise on KDB, but with Pep’s press conference l am wondering whether to switch to KDB given his high ownership??
My thinking is to hold the FT and plan for GW31, atm l have 6 players including Rico if he gets his place back!
With 3 FT’s plus a possible hit l could have 9-10 and hold the FH Chip for GW37 and WC GW32-33 and BB in GW34.
My very loose plan is to go for Pope/Jimenez/Boly/Sarr for Button/Vardy/Fernadez /Traore or Barnes.
l do like your plans and your team looks good to go (wish l had Doherty), good luck for the weekend.
All the best

Hi Malc. No worries at all. 👍
Maybe a small edge to Aubameyang since there’s a risk with KDB’s possible injury. Their ownership and captaincy stats snowballed in opposite directions after the KDB news broke out. Aubameyang could be the safer option, KDB a bigger gamble with a high payoff.
I can see Guardiola selling the KDB injury on Wednesday before Ole had a chance to try something on Thursday like saying his two best defenders are injured. I wouldn’t be surprised if KDB, Maguire and AWB all start.
9-10 players is strong for BGW31 with just transfers and minimal hits, no chips. All the players in your plan make sense. Let’s see if there’s a chance to hold Fernandes for the long-run, or if Traore can play his way back into the fold for the blank. Although I also have replacements in mind if he continues to disappoint.
Thanks and good luck!

Hi Bruno,
I have been following your blog for a good few years now and always find it helpful. This week I am seriously struggling with what to do.
Current team:
Pope (Button)
Gomez, TAA, Soyuncu, Evans (Egan)
KDB, Salah, Martial (Dendoncker, Barnes)
Jiminez, Ings, Auba
I have WC, BB, TC and FH available so a lot of flexibility.
Firstly I am wondering with the new game week announcements, both double and blank, your chip strategy?
Secondly is my transfer. I’m tempted by Martial to Mahrez or d.silva in light of KDB potential injuries. I like the look of Doherty as well but unsure where to squeeze him in (most likely Gomez). It’s the first time I have been truly stuck on what to do. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi. Thanks for your support. 👍
I’ve already used the TC chip on DGW24. Saving the other chips and WC for later in the season. Using transfers for the blank GW31, around 9-10 players depending.
No set plan for the other chips just yet, but it could be DGW34 and the bigger DGW37, depending on the teams and players involved.
You could take a chance in midfield, never know with Pep. If you make a change, I might give a small edge to Mahrez as Silva hasn’t been the greatest with injuries. Silva’s scoring potential and chances of starting are partly dependent on whether KDB is out. Mahrez and Sterling could rotate, possibly even Sané who seems close to a return from injury.
If KDB misses both games, I have Sarr as backup on the bench.
Doherty is as a top pick. Form, fixtures and no blank GW31. 👍
I know what you mean. This week is one of the trickiest with doubts over arguably the best DGW player. I’m taking a gamble against the grain with Doherty and Alonso instead of additional DGW players. For that reason, it’s harder to point others in a set direction GW29.
Those are some thoughts. Doherty could be one for the long run. The others are harder to set.
Thanks for the comment!

Hi Bruno
I hope you are well.
My team is nearly set for GW29, just needed a bit of UP90S wisdom with a some decisioning:
1. Fleck vs Norwich or Traore vs Brighton( I do have Jiminez and Boly too from Wolves)?
2. Captain – Is a DGW captain Auba or KDB better than a single GW captain such as Salah, who also has a good fixture?. Auba to play in both fixtures, as captain, and less fixture congestion so perhaps statistically better option?
Let me know your views.
Ps: Hopefully the corona virus epidemic does not impact on matches being postponed going forward…..it could make FPL even more unpredictable. I assume if the likely closed door matches does eventually happen as an Everton exec recently mentioned, like in Italy, it will still be televised.

Hi. Doing well, thanks.
1. Have to think about this one as I hadn’t considered a SHU attacker. Norwich could be tired after the FA Cup. Traore is a decent gamble if he starts, although I’m benching him this week.
2. The safe option is Auba with the double Gameweek. Salah the gamble. Hard to beat Salah’s scoring record against Bournemouth, and since I don’t have Auba, I’m taking a chance. I believe if Salah scores, it will be a new record, scoring in every appearance against a PL club six times (currently 7 goals in 5 games vs. Bournemouth).
KDB is lower in line as an injury doubt. He is not even my vice at this moment, unless we get more info before deadline.
Hopefully no more surprises this season! Big changes happening already as you mentioned.
Thanks for the team update.

Hi Bruno
Gradual red arrows have me down from 44K to 338K since Xmas – though still mush better than last year. My daughter is topping our extended family minileague, having bought Doherty last week. Chips wise I just have my wildcard and bench boost left. Thinking I’ll wildcard either GW32 0r 33, to get most value out of it before end of season, and BB DGW34. This week I’ve sold Grealish and Vardy for Auba (C) and Sarr, with an eye to GW31, which I need to manage without a chip – -4pts to do so. I will have to take one more -4pt hit to have a starting 11 by GW31. My question is whether to take that hit now by swapping out Ryan for Pope. Pope has much better form, though playing Man City GW30. Your thoughts appreciated. Team below.
Cheers

Hi Davina. It was another strange round last week, glad to hear Doherty came through for your daughter.
Transfers make sense with an eye on BGW31, and I like the future plan. I might do something similar with the BB chip depending on the fixtures announcements.
Pope is such a tricky decision. He’s in great form and Tottenham were flat in the attack midweek in the FA Cup without Son and Kane. Ryan faces a confident Wolves side GW29. Maybe the smallest edge to to Pope this week, although it’s hard to predict which Tottenham side will turn up.
City GW30 is more difficult. I might give the edge back to Ryan, but his opponent Arsenal can also be hot or cold. I’m struggling to make a prediction because of the inconsistency of the GK opponents, sorry!
If you go for it, the justification is that he might have had to come in before BGW31 for a hit anyway and you took a chance on form.
Good team overall. Hopefully Lundstram returns to the starting lineup now. He does offer a goal threat which they look like they need at times. Aurier and Noble are bonuses for BGW31.

Thanks Bruno for prompt reply before bed time in New Zealand!
I’ve decided to go with form, and have got Pope.
One slight edge could be that Pep may rest key players in the fixture against Burnley right before their next Real Madrid fixture…though never easy for any team to go to the Etihad. Hopefully Pope can pay off the hit over several weeks.
Good luck!

Hi Bruno,
This is my team & I think I am happy with it.
Just cant decide on my starters or captain just yet. its on Auba, but has been switching between Salah, KDB and Auba all week…
KDB is going to start isn’t he… its just a ploy by Pep, right?
cheers

Hey Rich, not able to see the team image. This site only accepts links not actual images just yet.
I would say Auba captain makes sense. Salah right in the mix as well. KDB the bigger risk with the injury doubt, although we never know if it’s all mind games.

Hi Bruno, need quick advise.
My team:
McCarthy
Taa, soy, doherty, (lascelles), (Ferminia)
Mane, salah, sarr, maddison, (hayden)
Vardy, Jimenez, ings
Rumours has it Mane not starting. Switching to KdB for -8 hit or Fernandes? Or keep Mane and hope he comes on and score? Need to make up ground in mini league.
Other advise?

Hi. That’s a tough one. I’m trying to get last-second news as well. TAA also rumored to be benched. If we get confirmation from @FPL_Rockstar, it would be easier to take a gamble on KDB.
Still checking…
