Hey. The only issue with Antonio is his injury record. I would on consider him for the blank, maybe not sooner just in case.
No major concerns with double Wolves up front. They did blank this week, so we could take another round to make a proper assessment.
Fixture cheatsheet is in the works. Trying to work out the stats when there are teams with more games played than others. 👍

I really need your advice . As you know I took a -12 to bench Boost but then with the leaked information about Robertson I canceled . Ok not regreting canceling but regreting the -12 (McCarthy benched)
I’m currently with 32(-12) with a fail Auba (c) Grealish Barnes KDB and Auba still to play .
My question is how could I gain back those (-12) ?

Olá. That’s such a nightmare with the BB in place, then the surprise news with Robertson.
The round isn’t over yet. Hard to tell what the rest of the games could bring at this point! Anything can happen.
No easy way of making up the points, and it might not get easier if KDB is out longer.
If it ends up being a bad knockdown this round, we all have them. With big transfer hits, we have to assess them after 2-3 rounds, not in the very next one as it’s difficult to make them all up in one shot.
Going forward, sometimes minor tweaks to the weaknesses, other times bigger changes to go for it.
No easy solution. Robertson and KDB are huge blows for my team as well. Big impact to the team structure I was counting on.

Hi Bruno. I hate fpl!! Imagine taking a -8 this week to bring in jota, Doucoure and Aubameyang for dgw and transferring out Ings, Vardy and Barnes just so i could get Aubameyang in for dgw. Barnes 19 points, Vardy 11 and Ings 2 so 32 points + 8 for hits = 40 points for total and 5 points for my new 3 players with Aubameyang still to play 1 game..ouch!!!

Hi. That’s the worst! Not quite over yet, but that’s not pretty. Leicester was a crucial game for FPL, difficult to predict, didn’t even know who was starting! The Pepe Reina mistake and penalty was the start of a bad day for my team also.
No sugarcoating it. I also took a -8 hit and the only hope of salvaging this week is a doubtful KDB.
Hang in there. I’m just starting to come around, felt like I was the only one struggling this week.

A good gameweek so far , i’m hoping KDB gets some minutes vs Arsenal and i’m hoping Auba doesn’t return as that will kill my rank, i kept Vardy i was disappointed when he didn’t start and then he came on and repaid my faith to be fair villa are hopeless at defending . my main question for this week is that most experts seem to be saving the free hit for later on in gw38 , i would like to save it but my team has just 5 players 3 lfc 1 wolves and rico who doesn’t count lol. I feel a wildcard or free hit makes sense for me to use , i see wildcard in 35 onwards to get a gw37 team can make the most of that dbl gameweek , your advice be great thanks my team below.

Ola. Congrats on Vardy, Villa were a mess. We all have different squads, so it can work to use a chip or WC for the blank. If you can push from 5 to 8 players without too much damage in hits, it could be an option.
For BGW31, I might consider Charlie Taylor in for Rico. Doucoure is also a good low-priced option, next step up could be Sarr.
I have my sights on Chris Wood for the blank, possibly in place of Ings.
With a chip or WC, you might consider Mane in for KDB, which could mean losing Firmino.

My Team for GW30:

My Bench: Henderson (the cheap one!) | Cantwell | Traore | Kelly
My Plan:
I’m working towards navigating BGW31 without using my FH chip, so my plan is to save the FT this week so that I can:
1. Transfer Aubameyang & Traore OUT; and transfer Jota & Alli IN
2. Also Transfer McCarthy OUT; and transfer Pope IN (-4)
This will give me 9 players for the Blank.
3. I would be willing to do an additional transfer for a total cost of -8 IF there was another BGW31 player who I thought was ‘essential’.
My Chip Strategy:
Wild Card – GW35/36
Bench Boost – GW37
Free Hit – GW38 (unless another DG is announced that seems favourable).
My Questions:
A. What do you think of my transfers (1 & 2) above?
B. Would you recommend I do another transfer (3 above) and who would you recommend?
C. What are your thoughts about my chip strategy?
D. Anything else you think I’m missing?

Hi. Similar plan here for the blank GW31.
A. Straightforward changes, no issues. Alli could be a bit of a differential. Pope would be set to stay for the season run-in.
B. No one really essential, but I might keep an eye on Sarr this weekend. His fixture is red GW30 according to our cheatsheet, so let’s see.
C. Makes sense. FH GW38 is interesting as the final round can produce lots of goals. I’m also saving the chips and it would be a shame if the season was suspended and we never got to enjoy them.
D. Nothing required to change. The only note is the idea of a swap from KDB to Mane for the long-run. Liverpool have only the league left which could mean guaranteed starts for Mane vs. KDB. But that’s not required at least until we have more news on player availability. Alonso might be one to watch as a Robertson replacement, keeping the current team balance.

What a different world we live in currently!. 🙃
Its so unreal, what has happened.
Here in South Africa after social distancing and many people working from home, we are now starting a 3 week lockdown in 2 days time and most people are in shock as we have never experienced this, so dont know what to expect.
What is the situation in your area, do you have lockdown and how is people adapting to it?.
My heart goes out to all the countries suffering from Covid 19, especially the ones hit hard like, China, USA, Italy, Spain, France, Iran and many others.
Cant wait for soccer to eventually resume and bring some joy to unite people all over the world and make them smile again after these struggles.😃

Hi. Thank you, my family and I are healthy. We’ve been isolating for almost two weeks already. Schools are closed, my wife is a teacher and we have two young daughters. E-learning keeps them a bit busy in the morning, and we go for daily walks as a family away from others. Working from home, music, art/drawing, board games, video games… the occasional outburst from the kids which is normal. We are ok as long as we are healthy. 🙂
Only essential businesses are open here such as grocery stores. At this moment, our quiet town has no confirmed cases, but it seems inevitable that will change. When driving, we see some people failing to follow guidelines such as keeping distance from each other. Plus our state of CT is close to NY and many are leaving that affected area.
I haven’t logged in to FPL since that first weekend of postponements. I actually miss playing 5-a-side ⚽️ twice a week at a local club more than watching it or FPL! I’m sure that will change with time and I’ll miss watching games.
I hope you and your family, and everyone around the world stays healthy which is the most important. Thank you for the message!

Missing your inspiring blogs and videos.
Are you still in lockdown?
In South Africa our cases are gradually still climbing, covid-19 situation not improving, day 56 of lockdown, with only essential services open and schools still close.
Getting used to working from home and trying to homeschool my 2 boys.
I recently founded a charity initiative, Feeding Hearts ,with various drives to feed the starving and most vulnerable, as people are really struggling in South Africa.😭 In 1 month from donations we have managed to feed 2320 people, but still so many people starving.
It has been a very humbling and positive experience during lockdown.
I hope the premier league comes back soon, really missing it, along with the unpredictability of FPL.
A different world we live in now though, so will be interesting to see how matches and rules are adapted going forward and how clubs’ financial plans are impacted in the future.

Olá. So great to hear from you. That’s amazing with your charity initiative, sad that so many are struggling. If you have any additional info, share it with me anytime.
I’m doing well, my wife and two daughters are also doing well considering how long we’ve been social distancing! We haven’t seen any friends or family other than my wife’s parents pulling into our driveway once and waving from their car. Definitely a strange world, there are many who are struggling with no job or food on the table.
Our state of CT is now starting to reopen, but we are staying on the safe side for a while. We go for daily walks away from others when it’s sunny (Vitamin D), and hit the nicer parks when it’s raining as they are usually empty.
I miss playing more than watching the game! I used to play 5-a-side once a week (we’re old, but it’s still fun). If the Premier League returns this season, I’m curious about rule changes like 5 subs or playing without fans in the stadium. I saw a stat that in the first 14 games back since the return of the Bundesliga, there have been just 2 home wins out of 14 games… 🤔
