Something strange has happened with the way we search for #Elite64 ownership stats. It’s nothing related to the Wildcard decision, nothing serious at all, so don’t worry. I’ll explain it on the next GW3 video early in the week. 🙂

Hi Bruno. I’m intrigued about the Elite league.. When will the video be out , sounds intresting. Did it influence your decision to WC? Very early for a WC but I can see why you are doing it. Been playing 11 seasons and I know going early can be successful. I know a lot of very good players who are wildcarding now also
I’m thinking of selling Perez and Moura for KDB and Mcginn -4 Scary going without Spurs vs Newcastle though . Are you looking at spurs assets for the next game ? Kane doesn’t look like he’s in the best of form . Love Moura as a spurs fan but reduced minutes or bench looks possible

Hi. No, the #Elite64 thing is nothing serious to worry about our strategy, especially the Wildcard. It did not influence my decision on the Wildcard at all. It was more to do with searching for information on the #Elite64, that’s all. 👍
Perez has been disappointing. It feels like strong FPL managers could be cutting their losses soon. Agree with you on Moura and the risk of consistent starts. Love him as a player also, I’ve seen him in training in person with the Brazil national team and he was the hardest worker in training. No one could keep up with him.
Spurs are also strong in the attack, but I don’t know if they can match City’s attacking potential on a consistent basis. That might give the edge to KDB.
Not easy! I can see Kane also scoring. It’s possible some of these players could get similar points total in the next games.

🚨*UPDATE! I am keeping an eye on price changes here: http://fplstatistics.com/ I may swap out some of the players in my team temporarily by staying up-to-date on the price changes. For example, I’ve brought in KDB for Salah, but I will likely have Salah in my team by deadline.
I will watch more games on Monday and catch up on everything from the weekend, so the GW3 video might not be out until Tuesday. Thanks! -Bruno

Hi Bruno,
Well, GW3 starts the real tinkering and indeed for me too, lots of options. Could follow your guidelines up till now, but can’t get into the groove with the wildcard. I had a very likely team to yours and cannot see any necessity to be that drastic. Of course, you can now jump onto the players that start profiling, immediately, but does it really need that urgens?
I’m glad to have saved a free transfer from GW2, so found enough room to at least keep up the pace in the transfermarket. Obvious that Liverpool-defenders are not what they’re expected to be, TAA sloppy, Robertson worn-out?, I’ll keep Virgil for the deadly-header. Bournemouth have had their chances, Fraser definitly the one to go. KDB looked so very lively and eager, and with a good run of fixtures he can’t be surpassed. With funds coming from Robertson and having saved a 0,5 at the start, I made AWB his best replacement to let KDB take Fraser’s spot.
GW1 and 2 going strong so far, 83p + 54 with Jota still to go. Had a a very joyous moment today, when Lundstram bagged a goal, after recieving a yellow. The CS made it a feast! I left ZInchenko out to give him a chance. That’s what we call . . . gut feeling! Nice man, this John Lundstram, I think I’ll keep him (nice team too, Sheffield :))
Mane could arrive if Mo can’t get his mojo working, Siggy can stay for now, but holds the funds to turn to Martial, an option for GW4, eventually. Not shure to bench King in GW3 and play 451. Most likely he’s the one to be replaced by Pukki in GW5. Just guessing . . .
Team, for now:
Ryan,
AWB, VVD, Digne, Zinchenko
Salah, Siggy, KDB, Sterling
King, Jota
(Button, Dendoncker, Lundstram, Greenwood)
TV= 100,1 ITB=0,0 OR 141k
Maybe King could drop to the bench, but who will it be than, LDD or JL ? :D)
Best of luck with your WC!

Hi. All makes sense with the Wildcard strategy. Glad to hear about your scores, that’s amazing that you got the Lundstram points, congrats. 👍
Team is great overall. Need an update on Digne’s hamstring injury. King and Jota didn’t have the best games, but they have time to turn things around. Close decision with the final starter. Give Lundstram another go? It’s not that wild of an idea. 🙂
Thanks!

Hi Bruno, I am also using my wildcard, and my team are as follows:
Gk : Ryan, pickpord
Def: digne, zinchenko, wanbska, ludstram, kelly
Mid: kdb, Mane, sterling, martial, ndombele
Cf: pukki, Barnes, greenwood
Can you comment anything regarding my team, because in gw 2 my score is just 42😥. Siggy, Perez, Robertson didn’t do well

Hi. Most managers had a low score this week. It’s not a problem.
Agree on the players who didn’t perform. I like the team overall. Might only need an update on Digne’s injury before deadline. Hard to improve it, maybe Wickham in for Greenwood, Benteke hasn’t been good while United’s starting forwards are scoring.
It’s strong already, minor notes only. 👍

Hi!
First off i love your videos and you are doing a great job!
Could you plz or anyother in this chat give me some overview/advice for this team and your thoughts about it. (1st FPL ever for me)
Ryan/Button
A.Arnold,Dijk,Digne,Zinchenko
Salah,Sterling,KDB,Ndombele
King,Jota
Bench, Dendoncker,Lundstram,Wickham
W1=88points (0transfers)
W2=40points +Jota (2 transfers)
I made 2 transfers early Sunday and i missed the change on bilva so was -0.1….
Bilva,Siggy out!
KDB,Ndombele in!
But when i read comments here it seems i might should have taken Ceballos/mcginn instead off Ndombele, is Ndombele a bad move for me?

Hi. Thanks! Digne needs an update on his hamstring injury.
King and Jota, maybe Alexander-Arnold the weaker performers, but nothing serious to worry about.
Your transfer should work well. KDB is easy to rate, he’s amazing. I don’t know as much about Ndombele just yet, so it’s harder for me to give the best assessment. I watched McGinn and Ceballos this weekend and liked what I saw. McGinn takes lots of shots, Ceballos has Aubameyang and Lacazette as targets.
I don’t think it was the wrong move, only time will tell on this one.
Great work, good luck!

Hi Bruno,
Any comments on this take on a wildcard transfer for GW3?
Dunk, VD, Lundstram
Mane, Salah, KdB, Sterling, Cantwell
Pukki, Barnes
Bench:
Button
Rico
Kelly
Wickham
GW4 switch Rico/Dunk and Kelly/Lundstram

Hi. Super attacking, super brave. Of course the bench is the weakness, maybe the defense next weakest.
The future plan also seems set. Now you just need a goalkeeper… 🙂
Wish you the best of luck with it!

Hi,bruno Can you tell me abt price rise algorithm, Sterling price is increased to 12.1m but when i try to transfer him ,his selling price turns to 12.0m, can u tell me how this works?
Pedersen
19/08/19
For every 0.1 they drop below bought price, you loose 0.1m in value.
For every 0.2m they rise in price, you gain 0.1m.
If a player you bought rise 0.3m, then you can sell him for 0.1m. If he drop to 0.2m, you can still sell for 0.1m, if he drop further to 0.1m, you can only sell him to 0.0m.

Thanks @Pedersen! I’ve been so busy that I can barely get to comments. I appreciate any help.

Hi. Yes, Sterling started at 12m. He must rise by 0.2m before his selling price in your team becomes 12.1m. Players have to rise by 0.2m before you make a profit of 0.1m.
So if he rises to 12.4m, your actual selling price would be 12.2m.

Hi. I like the team overall. It’s just that one player you mentioned… Sterling! Wish you could draw up one more draft with him in it to compare, but it’s up you!
All the players are set overall, no problems.

Hi. I think Team A is missing a defender. Solid team, but I might also consider alternatives for Walker-Pieters and Lamela. Pochettino has a history of rotating his fullbacks. Lamela might not be a guaranteed starter in the long-run. I’d hate to tell you to not keep Lamela, because if he starts, he has great scoring potential… up to you! 🙂
Team B is very similar, maybe Chicharito can be inconsistent. I might look at alternatives with a possible switch in formation, instead of 3 forwards.
I might work on those 1-3 players, then reassess because the replacements could make the difference. Overall, you created quality strong teams.

Hey Bruno! I’m trying to hold out on my one transfer remaining after I spent my first on Wilson to Pukki. I already pushed back bringing in Ceballos and kdb reflexively yesterday and decided to wait. However, Perez, Robertson, king and Sigurdsson all look like they could drop in price later this week, especially if Wolves/Man U players impress and cause managers to transfer the likes of rashford, martial, or jota. Do you think I should play my wildcard if all these players get very close to dropping, or should I hold on to the ones I want to keep regardless of price drop, or should I take point hits (probably a -12)and save the wildcard.
Thanks! Have a good one!
Upper 90 Studios
19/08/19
Hey! It’s possible some could drop after consecutive blanks, poor performances or other players doing well.
I’m not sure about the -12. I’ve been more conservative with big hits in recent seasons, although I used to do a few -12 hits back in the day. It might not pay off in the first Gameweek or two, but maybe in the long-run. Hard to tell.
I don’t know! 🙂 It’s such a big decision that I prefer not to say yes or no for someone else with their Wildcard. I don’t really know the plan with strong FPL managers this week, I’ve been busy watching games, answering comments and creating content. One concern with the WC is veering too far away from the strong manager’s player template.
I know what you’re saying with the prices. It’s so tough. I might say that if you were to decide to go for it, I would do it asap to get in on price changes up and down.
Hope you can figure this one out because it’s a difficult decision.
-Bruno
