Hey Bruno,
Hope you’re well. I’m not so sure about the wildcard side of things just yet. Obviously a lot of research, planning and reasons for picking certain players had gone into on how the team was structured. Pukki could be a form over fixtures guy; Ceballos looks like he will drive Arsenal’s midfield and McGinn could be one right out of the box. Any of them or all of them could well be the new ‘michu’ ๐

Hi. Certainly a risky move and not something I would recommend for others without weighing all the pros and cons.
Love your assessment of the players. We’ll have to wait and find out! ๐

Hey Bruno,
Wow balsy move with the WC! Hope it pays off for you.
I’m tempted too but may end up waiting another week or two. However I am very very very keen to get KDB in, perez out and double Bournemouth out. Also keen to get Cellabos in, think he will be a steal this season.
In your opinion, what would you do with this lot?:
Ryan (button)
TAA / Robinson / Zichenko / Digne (4.0)
Salah / Sterling / Perez / Martial (4.5)
Wilson / King (4.5)

Hey. It wasn’t an easy decision, we’ll see how it turns out.
KDB, Ceballos, Perez, 2x Bournemouth… we have more information after another round of games.
My suggestion would be to focus on the two forwards first, then build to the back with Perez next in line. Last might be 2x LFC defense, which could allow a move for KDB and/or Mane.
These transfers could be spread out over a few weeks. In my case, I really wanted Mane, so one LFC defender had to make way and I ended up using the WC to wipe out the hits.
Need an update on Digne’s hamstring closer to deadline.
Thanks for the comment. ๐

Hi Bruno,
Sorry, I know we play very alike but i think you were knee-jerking with that wildcard. Should have waited to after today at least.
I did a quick Wilson -> Pukki to catch price rise, but waiting with my second transfer or wc, to after i have seen todays matches.
1 FT
Ryan
Robertson – TAA – Digne – Zinchenko
Salah – Sterlin – Siggy – Barkley
Pukki – King
Looking statswise, I can tell Salah got the exact same stats as Mane, despise being clearly more tired. Taking Salah for at least a gw more.
Zinchenko and Robertson did well too for backs. Keeping for now.
Digne was amazing, even captain potential amazing, so he is staying.
Siggy is on the track to become Bruyne, who had the absolute best stats this round (hardly believe any will beat his 18 crosses into goal zone)
I am considering doing King -> Wickham (4.5m), (4.5m mid) -> Mount (depending on Chelsea) to give:
(-4 point – 0.4m ITB)
Ryan
Robertson – TAA – Digne – Zinchenko
Salah – Sterlin – Siggy – Barkley – Mount
Pukki
Siggy next gw if nothing changes for Everton.
BTW all these stats are from Fantasy Football Scouts. It is awesome! Highly recommend you to check it out Bruno ๐

Learned a lot from the Chelsea game which means Barkley -> Mount. Think that will be my team to next round:
Ryan
Robertson โ TAA โ Digne โ Zinchenko
Salah โ Sterlin โ Siggy โ Mount
Pukki โ King
Might WC tomorrow depending on ManU game. Should I do that then i will make sure to do Siggy -> Bruyne.

Nice one. You had mentioned Mount before the game. ๐
A great plan in motion. Only Wolves vs. Man United on Monday.

Hi. No problem at all. We can have discussions without agreeing on every subject. ๐
Interesting stats with Salah vs. Mane. Didn’t realize that, although I’m aiming at keeping Salah with the Wildcard.
Zinchenko and Robertson might’ve done well stats-wise, but the points returns didn’t translate. I also didn’t like what I saw from Liverpool’s defense now that Alisson is not in goal. He was a calming presence.
Digne needs an update, he was subbed off with a hamstring issue. But you’re right, he’s done well and Everton have been good defensively.
Good transfer plan. I see no main concerns with your team and transfer plan.
Fantasy Football Scout seems awesome. Part of the reason why I haven’t checked them out in the past is because I prefer to watch games myself and do my own research, I don’t want to be influenced by other FPL content creators. Although stats are different… ๐ค I’m open to changing as I did last season when I started analyzing strong FPL managers’ teams.
Thanks!

Thank you for always replying in so details, cant fathom have you have time or resources to do that ๐ But thanks!
Yeb, did use scout “forum/comment section” last year, but ended up loosing more point than gaining using the advices. This year i tried member for the first time, and their member site is all about stats, nothing else.
Barkley was hit or miss. Showed to be miss this year again. Already done the Mount transfer to avoid price drop/rise. Gonna play Dendoncker or Lundstram next round instead of King, and then figure out what to do with him. Need to find 0.1m for Siggy -> Bruyne…
May I suggest you doing McGinn -> Cantwell. Cantwell has done great job the last 2 gw to feed Pukki, and is only 4.5m. Gives you 1m to upgrade Ceballos (terrible stat-wise, and saw the game how he did play rather deep/rotation risk soon?). I suggest to Mount following CHE fixtures. Also gives you 0.5 ITB which could be useful to correct any potential WC miss. After all, we are only 2 gw in ๐

Good to know! I will keep in mind Cantwell and I also like the idea of the extra ยฃ0.5m.
Thank you.

Scratch that stat comment about Ceballos, actually his stat wasnt that bad (Remembered wrong) Did do 5 crosses entire game, which is on par with Siggy…

Hi Bruno,
Need your advise on this..
Iโve made a couple of transfers earlier for GW3 but Iโve forgotten to hit the โwildcardโ option before confirming my squad.
If Iโm gonna make more transfers and be sure to use the wildcard this round, will all my previous transfers be regarded as under the wildcard transfer so I wonโt be deducted points for the coming game week?
Thanks a lot mate ๐๐ป

Obviously not Bruno, but the answer is yes. When you activate wildcard all that weeks transfers will be free, no matter if you already done them or you do them afterwards.

Hi. Thank you @TheKillingJoke. He is right. ๐ Hitting the Wildcard button will wipe out any previous transfer hits for the round.
If you go to the MY TEAM tab at the top, at the bottom right where it says “Gameweek transfers”… that will change from whatever it was before to 0 after the Wildcard.

Hi Bruno! Ballsy move with the wildcard. How does that affect the 2 free transfers you hade banked? Will you keep the 2 free transfers for next week? If yes, didnt the wildcard kinda cost you one transfer also, since you cant bank 3 free transfers?
Upper 90 Studios
18/08/19
Hi. We’ll see how it turns out, not an easy decision.
You can only have a maximum of 2 free transfers each week. If we have 2FTs, as I did heading into GW3, banking another would only give me 2FTs again GW4. We can’t have 3 FTs.
But, the 2FTs I used will not be there after the Wildcard. They are gone. I’ve done this too many times than I’d like to admit. ๐

Hi, does it matter if I wildcard mid week when your new video comes out or will the price changes possibly stop me doing the same as you? Cheers
Upper 90 Studios
18/08/19
Hi. Price changes could stop those without the same players from getting the same team. They could be priced out, as some might say in FPL. I think the Wildcard team in the video has ยฃ0.3m in the bank which gives some breathing room.
The most important thing is please don’t be persuaded into using the Wildcard because of my decision! Check the priorities in your squad, you might be ok in saving your Wildcard for a later time. I make mistakes and this is a risky move.

Hey Bruno,
All the best for the wildcard.

Robbo van dijk wan bissake digne* lundstraam
Salah sterling siggy* perez* dendonkar
Wilson jota
Siggy disappointed again.thinking of doing siggy to kdb.
Perez also doesnt look good. What do u think is abetter replacement villas mcginn or chelseas mount.
To do kdb will have to remove wilson who faces city to maybe a barnes or pukki.not sold over pukki on their upcoming fixtures.
Also any info on Dignes injury. If he is out long term then I start thinking WC as well:)

18/08/19
Hey. Yes, I wanted to see more from Siggy and Perez at the start.
I haven’t had a chance to watch the Chelsea Leicester game yet. I heard Mount did well, but I don’t have the best assessment yet.
Without spoiling too much of the new GW3 video, I was very impressed by McGinn. That was the first time I’ve really focused on him specifically and he did all the right things I like to see for an FPL attacker. The price is a bonus, but fixtures aren’t great and worth closer inspection.
I liked Pukki’s confidence against Liverpool, he did not look out of place. But I know what you mean!
Marco Silva said they are waiting for an update on Digne’s injury. No official diagnosis that I know of. @BenDinnery on Twitter is the source I trust for injuries.

Crazy idea. What if I use my free hit instead of my wildcard. Just to see if what I was going to switch out with the wildcard would work?
Upper 90 Studios
18/08/19
Be careful! Confirming the Free Hit chip works like a Wildcard. You cannot reverse it like the other chips Triple Captain and Bench Boost.
Don’t confirm anything unless you are using the TC or BB chips.
The Free Hit cannot be cancelled once confirmed. ๐
-Bruno
PS: Wildcards also cannot be cancelled once confirmed.

Hey Bruno,
Loving the music and content as always! After seeing the results from today’s games, I’m struggling to find reasons to keep Perez, although he did look quite promising and could’ve gotten at least an assist. Regardless, I want to swap him out and I’m deciding between Ceballos and McGinn. McGinn just loves taking shots from outside the box while Ceballos looks like he can rack up some serious assists this year after his performance. My only concern with McGinn is that historically he doesn’t have as many attacking returns as Ceballos. What do you think? I would wait for tomorrow or later in the week to make these transfers and decisions but Ceballos’ price looks likely to rise tonight so I don’t want to miss it. I was also considering Trossard after his impressive performance, do you have any thoughts on him?
Thanks!
xxVXYCxx

Also, Emery’s rotation could be a concern as I’m sure Ozil will get his chance to fight for the number 10 spot.
Upper 90 Studios
18/08/19
Hey. Thank you. I focused more on McGinn than Ceballos, so keep that in mind. Both have similar potential, but can earn their points in different ways, exactly as you mentioned.
Without the Wildcard, I might also consider waiting and missing out on a possible 0.1m rise for Ceballos. I would like to be sure I’m making the right decision and might pay 0.1m for that information.
I understand your concern with the price changes. Prices are a small factor and they can add up if we ignore them completely.
At this moment, I can’t choose between the two players. They are great choices for their price, but fixtures could be better for both. Ceballos plays in the better attacking side with top strikers, McGinn could get more playing time.
I’m stumped on this one. You have 3 options now, the option to wait and not be forced into a decision because of price changes. I’ve made it worse!
PS: You’re probably not doing this anyway, but don’t base your transfers on my Wildcard choices. I may change some of these players by deadline.
