Hi Bruno thx for new blog. this time i want to help you by adding my 2 cents into your possible squad. I’m pritty confident one pool mid is a must especially with those fixtures coming up and that should be Mane imo. can you do salah + wilson -> mane + vardy instead? Vardy plus chilwell may be enough Lei cover? moreover we should monitor mount injury .
cheers bro

Hi. Appreciate that. After considering the fixture cheatsheet, Liverpool attackers have 3 red fixtures in their next four. Of course, fixtures aren’t everything, so I’m thinking about your combo.

Hi Bruno,
What do u think of Son and Spurs with their current form right now?
Thanks

Hi AL. I was also thinking of going to Son, then passed for two reasons. One is Sheffield United next isn’t as easy as it may seem. The other reason is there’s an international break again after GW12. Son can sometimes be benched in the very next game after returning from the IB.
After that, it could work well depending on form.

Hi for gameweek 12 I want to play my free hit. What players and who should I captain

Hi. It might be easier if you build a team, then if you’d like, post it here and I will gladly rate it.
This week is a tricky one to predict with Liverpool vs. Man City, Leicester vs. Arsenal. Anything can happen in these games.
I might consider forwards like Vardy, Jimenez, Abraham and build from there.

Hey Bruno
My team
Ryan (pope)
Chillwel Mendy lund TAA (kelly)
Cantwell kdb sterling mane (Ceballos)
Abraham pukki maupay
I hav a ft .0.2 iDb. want to get leicester attack. any suggestions?

Hey. Ideally, you’d move for Vardy. Not seeing an easy way, but you could consider a plan involving some of the * players below.
Ryan (pope)
Chillwel Mendy* lund TAA (kelly)
Cantwell* kdb sterling mane (Ceballos*)
Abraham pukki* maupay
At the moment, I can only afford one starting GK in order to maximize the outfield starting XI. Mendy could be a rotation risk. Cantwell and Norwich have dropped in form. Ceballos is not delivering, I might choose a cheaper option for the bench that allows investment in other positions.
Another plan is to sacrifice a premium midfielder which is what I’m going for this week. In my case, it’s by selling Salah and moving for Maddison, Vardy, Jimenez up front. Transfers out: Salah, Wilson, Pukki.
It depends on whether you want to make big changes now or spread out the risk over a few GWs.

Hey bruno, i need your opinion again this time.
My current team :
Ryan (button)
TAA, Lundstram, AWB (Rico, Kelly)
Mane, KDB, Sterling, mount, cantwell
Abraham, Pukki (Greenwood)
i still have 2.2 in the bank
im thinking of trading Sterling, pukki, Greenwood for Madisson , Rashford, and vardy (empty the bank). is it a good thing? or instead of vardy, madisson, and rashford should i go get vardy, martial and jimenez (1.1 left in the bank)? or should i only go for 2 transfer? i need your opinion for this.
Thank you in advance.

Hey. It feels safer bringing in an extra starter in either of your plans. We should get an update on Mount’s injury today.
If Martial stays fit, it could work well. United are a teasing side for us in FPL because they can look so dangerous one game, then follow it with a flat performance like last week vs. Bournemouth.
Difficult one, maybe United and Wolves playing today could give us more clues? Not sure which plan is better, they could deliver similar points totals.

Hi Bruno,
Once again great video.
Can you tell me your opinion on these 3 players. SON/MADDISON ( I have Vardy and Suyonchu already) or MARTIAL?
Thak You
Best regards,
Bojan

Hi Bojan. Thanks.
All three can work. Son was high on my list as another attempt to gain ground, but I had two concerns. Sheffield United next might not be simple, and Son can sometimes be benched after an international break (GW13).
Martial and Maddison have similar points potential. We could make a case for spreading the risk with Martial. The key for Martial is staying fit and United putting in consistent attacking performances.
In my case, I’m betting on Leicester’s form with a triple up of Chilwell, Maddison and Vardy.
Those are the thoughts, all 3 could work. 👍

Hi Bruno
Firstly, i have just watched your blog and l like your bold moves going for Salah out and Vardy in, so good luck!!
In GW11 l am still kicking myself leaving Otamendi in and then he comes on for 1 minute and Soy on the bench, l probably would have had a small green arrow, instead a big drop of 146k down to OR 343k scoring 54pts. l hope l can make up the ground lost over the next couple of weeks.
Below is my current team: 2FT/ITB £1.2/WC;
Pope – (Button)
VVD / Lundstram / Soy – ( *Otamendi / Rico)
Salah / Sterling / KDB / Mount / *Yarmolenko
Jimenez / Abraham – (Greenwood)
So for GW12 = 2FT and the following options;
Otamendi & Yarmolenko OUT
Janmatt IN – he will be on the bench most weeks but does rotate if needed.
1. Martial – The issue l have is his injury record, but he has a nice run of games and is
a differential this leaves 0.6 to switch VVD > Robinson GW13
2. Maddison – l can then switch VVD>TAA GW13
3. Tielemans or Barnes the later appears to be nailed on and a great differential
Personally, as a United fan l am leaning more towards option 1, but without Vardy should l have Leicester cover, that is my dilemma.
Thoughts on Mo Salah;
This season I have stuck with Mo Salah (£12.3m) and I believe that over the course of the season, Sadio Mane (£12.0m) and Salah will counter each other out in terms of goals and points scored.
But Salah’s ankle injury is making it very hard to stay with him now, especially with him being substituted early on Saturday with two points, while Mane went on to score 12. The price difference between the two players is now down at £0.3m at the time of writing and before long it seems likely that they will be level in terms of cost.
Having already lost £0.2m in team value by holding Salah, I am starting to believe that now might be a good time to transfer him out for Mane. This would also free up a little more in terms of budget to make some other changes and l can understand why you have made the move this week.
For captaincy this week it will be between Jimenez and Abraham.
Your thoughts and comments are always appreciated.
All the best

Hi Malc,
Thanks! I’ve moved for Otamendi twice over the years, and this time was just as disappointing as the previous one. 👎
Liking all your options. Barnes is great for the price, but he can be the first player subbed off when things aren’t happening.
Martial and Maddison are the standouts. Martial is great if he can stay fit, always a threat combining with Rashford. Watching United’s EL game right now and they look good (don’t know the opponent well). This weekend? They’ve been lacking some consistency, so we’ll find out soon enough.
Nothing wrong with Tielemans, maybe an edge to Maddison for the set piece threat. Without Vardy, Leicester attack cover makes sense.
I’m taking a gamble away from Liverpool premium attackers, partly with an eye on the fixture cheatsheet which shows three red and one orange in their next four. Doesn’t mean they can’t score, but I’m spreading out the risk over more players as my team lacked depth.
The early sub for Salah was a killer, really needed him to deliver or at least keep up with Mane. As you mentioned, he’s in better form and is cheaper, for now.
Abraham and Jimenez are top captain picks. Fixtures are difficult to predict for the premium players this week.

Hi Bruno, thanks for video 😉
I made 80 points with this team:
Heaton (2)
Robertson (9) – Digne (6) – Lundstram (21)
Yarmolenko (1) – D. Silva (2 – Captain) – Mané (12) – Mount (1)
Abraham (12) – Aubameyang (8) – Vardy (6 – ViceC)
bench: Button – Cantwell, Alonso (substituted by Digne), Kelly
This week not looks so well 😀
Silva is injured (Pep said that he will be out propably 10 days for muscle injury), Mount has 75% chance of playing, MCI vs LFC.
Squad value is 102.2£ and 1£ ITB and 1FT.
International break after GW13.
Do you have some tips for my team transfers?
Thinking about Pulisic (I have now 3 players from Chelsea) and somebody from Sheffield (DEF or MID) or Leceister (for ex. Madisson like you).
Thanks and good luck 😉

Hi. No problem. Wow, 80pts is fantastic. Congrats! 👍
Great thoughts on the players. Need an update on Mount from Lampard. He was called up to the national team today, so I’m hoping it means it’s minor.
Maybe David Silva on the chopping block. Options are Maddison and Martial, and Pulisic. The only note is Chelsea play City GW13, although City haven’t been great defensively. We’ll see what happens this weekend if Ederson is injured.
For my own team, I’m pretty settled on Maddison as a gamble on Leicester’s form. Up to you.
2x Sheffield United defenders might work well around GW14-GW15, unless they continue to win games!
Good luck!

B TAA / Mane / Robertson / Maddison / Jimenez
C TAA / Salah / Robertson / Maddison / Jimenez
D TAA / Salah / Mane / Willems / Mousset

Hi Bruno,
I’ve been following your videos over the past few weeks – great stuff, keep it up even though it’s a tough FPL season so far.
I’m currently in the top 300k at the mo, bit of a slow start… contemplating on whether to use my WC this week or over the international break – here’s my team and my proposed plans… would greatly appreciate your expertise and advice.
Pope (Button)
Robertson Tomori Rico (Lundstram, Hanley)
Mane Sterling De Bruyne Mount James
Vardy Abraham (Connolly)
0.4 ITB
After WC:
Schmeichel (Button)
Robertson TAA Tomori (Lundstram, Rico)
Mane De Bruyne Martial Mount (Hayden)
Vardy Abraham Jimenez
0.3 ITB
I know selling Sterling is a huge gamble but I just don’t think he meets his price tag and enables me to really strengthen other areas in the team. Leaning towards using my WC in the international break incase injuries and what not come up… what are your thoughts?
Thanks buddy! Good luck

Hi. Appreciate that, thanks. You’re in decent shape, able to make up ground quickly.
Don’t think your team needs the Wildcard, it’s already strong. You may not even need it during the IB!
If you do use the Wildcard now, I hope you get this reply in time and use it before price changes tonight. Jimenez is close.
Leaning toward waiting until the IB, but I can see your point with strengthening the squad in one shot. I’m selling a premium mid this week, so I can understand that idea.
I’m posting this now in case you’re thinking of confirming the WC this week, it would be better before tonight’s price changes.
Up to you, your team is already strong and as you said, having the WC for possible injuries during the break is an advantage. 👍
