Hello Bruno,

Here’s my team and have a couple idea for changes I would like to see your opinion.

Ryan (Button)
VVD, Otamendi, Lundstram, Soyuncu, Rico
KDB, Mane, Mount, Sterling, Douglas Luiz
Abraham, Vardy, Connolly

I was thinking something along the lines of taking out one of my 2 man city attackers. I was thinking of taking out Sterling for Madison/Martial and this would allow me to change Connolly to Jiménez, and also make a couple changes in defense. This would leave me with a couple million which means I can later change Douglas Luiz to Martial/Madison. I hope that made sense

Do you have any thoughts on some transfers or any tips? Thanks.

  Sorry for the late reply. I’ve been dealing with an issue with the website which was shut down for a few days.
  
  Liking the ideas. My transfer plan this week is to move Maddison and Jimenez, so we’re on the same page. Connolly played pretty well, so it’s not that straightforward, but Brighton will be tested now with difficult fixtures and Jimenez has an edge.
  
  The only other note is that Mount picked up a knock in the Champions League, so be sure to have proper cover in case he is out this week.

Keep up the good work – your videos are a weekly highlight. Eddie and I are both doing well- thanks to your analysis and insights and our emotional attachment(aka tripling up) on our team – Leicester. This is despite my having sold Soyuncu for a hit to get Tielemans this week – not the best timing and Eddie leaving Dunk on the bench for Otamendi. I also have Pereira & Vardy. Eddie has Chilly, Maddison and Vardy. We enjoyed that Southampton game so much! I’m at 64K, having not broken the top 2M last season. Eddie’s getting green arrows and is 2.7K for GW5 starters (we don’t know what the denominator is).
We’re both looking forward to your tips ahead of the big top of the table clash coming up – and to hearing your latest music. It would also be good to know how to get intell on when players are approaching a ban.

  Sorry for the late reply. I’ve been working hard on the the website which was shut down… I hope the problems are resolved for good. It could a few more weeks to get everything sorted, but I’m on it.
  
  There were quite a few strong managers with points on the bench this week, so you’re not alone. Couldn’t believe Soyuncu just as I moved for Chilly! Chilly was so close to scoring near the end when he hit the post.
  
  Nice work with triple Leicester cover and congrats on the OR success. 👍
  
  New video is up with a new song idea I’m hoping to finish during the international break. Sterling on four yellows will be a lot of fun, especially with Mount a major doubt… 🙂

Hi Bruno,

Hope your week went well! Just got a question for you if you dont mind. Is it worth taking a -4 hit to bring in pulisic for mount?

I’m asking this now because I have the exact money itb + money if I sell mount to get pulisic and if there is any more price increase on pulisic I will not be able to get him. What’s your take on this?

  Good question. Pulisic is in excellent form. It could depend on whether you bought Mount closer to his current price, or closer to the original £6m. He could be a player to keep for the long run with the value he provides.
  
  If you don’t think you’ll want him back anytime soon, it’s worth considering. The only concern is after this week, Chelsea have a tricky few games. Doesn’t mean they can’t deliver. Man City didn’t look so great defensively today in the Champions League and could be without Ederson now.
  
  I might also consider Maddison and Tielemans (unless you have them), possibly Martial, but he worries me with his injury record and United are hard to predict.
  
  Up to you. It could work.

2FT; TV=100.8; ITB=1.5; OR=442k & ALL Chips still in hand!!

Salah; Sterling; De Bruyne; Mount (Dendonker)
Abraham; Pukki*; King

1. I’m very happy with the make-up of my team at the moment, so I’m looking to just use ONE transfer Pukki OUT for Jiminez this week. This will give me 2FT’s during the IB.
I’d love to get Vardy in for his fixtures, but I can’t see myself transferring any of my midfield “premiums” out. Alternatively, I could do King>Ayew to fund Pukki>Vardy, but I prefer King’s next two fixtures to Ayew’s. What do you think? [Essentially it’s a choice between Jiminez & King OR Vardy & Ayew.]

2. What formation would you suggest? I’m looking at 3-4-3 with Kelly & Dendonker 2nd & 3rd subs, but then who do I bench between Soyuncu, Lundstram & Rico?
If I do bring both Vardy & Ayew in, then I’d look to bench Ayew and play 4-4-2, with Kelly and Dendonker joining him on the bench.

3. For my current strategy, I’m looking to go as “safe” as possible for captaincy – so I’m looking at Vardy OR Jiminez (in order of priority – depending on the transfers I make. What do you think?

  1. Liking the transfer. I’m selling Pukki for Jimenez also. As you said, going for Vardy involved dropping a premium mid, which is what I’m considering and prefer over the move for Ayew. Your call on this one!
  
  2. Rotating defenders could be an advantage, or you may need them all if Mount is out and Sterling gets banned. It’s a good problem to have. Leaning toward 3-4-3.
  
  3. Leaning toward Vardy captain with Jimenez right behind. Let’s see how Wolves play midweek.

Hey Bruno! It’s my first year playing fpl. And I’ve followed your advise since gw1. I’m at a position that I am unsure of my goalkeeper and would like your advise.

I currently have ryan and button. I have already made my transfer for gw 12 to avoid any price changes. I just wanted to ask you, given Brighton’s runs, do you think it is
worth it to take a hit to replace ryan with ramsdale? Or should I wait for 2 more gws and then replace ryan with Henderson?

  Hey! Thanks! Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been having issues with the website which should be resolved now.
  
  Maybe the smallest edge to Henderson in a few Gameweeks, but I can understand the concern with Brighton’s fixtures. They’re playing well and Ryan has picked up a few save points even when losing.
  
  It’s not an easy decision. Ramsdale could be better in the short-term, then his fixtures turn for the worse. Henderson feels best in the long-run. Possibly around GW13 or GW14 if you have a free transfer at that point without other priorities.
  
  I’d say it’s between keeping Ryan for a week or two, then considering Henderson if needed. But it’s not straightforward. Your call on this one!

Hi bruno, I’ve got a question regarding my defenders situation.

Which 3 defenders would you pick for gw12 and what in your opinion should be the order of substitute along with cantwell:

Robertson, lundstram, soyuncu, rico, kelly.

  Hi. Robertson and Lundstram for their attacking potential, then it’s close between Rico and Soy. Kelly hasn’t been playing anyway and has difficult fixtures.
  
  I might try Rico for the current form, but Newcastle did just start scoring goals, so it’s not simple.
  
  This week is a tough one for choosing which defenders to start. We may not see clean sheets, so I’m aiming at possible attacking returns.

  No problem. That’s a tough one. Cantwell and Norwich have been disappointing for some time, but Watford at home is a good fixture on paper.
  
  Soyuncu has a tricky one against Arsenal’s attack, but we never know which Arsenal will turn up, especially in away games.
  
  Maybe form over fixture? Up to you. 👍

i need to decide between double up on liverpool defence (TAA and Robertson) or taking a punt on a differential Richarlison for this week by transferring out mount remove him next week only. What do you think I should do?

  At this moment, it seems that Robertson could miss the Crystal Palace game. Need an official update from Klopp during the press conference.
  
  Mount has a tricky fixture this week, but it doesn’t mean he can’t score. If it was just one week, I’d give the edge to Richarlison. You could take the risk if you’re not concerned with buying back Mount in the near future.
  
  I’m ok keeping Mount for now, but his scoring potential has dropped a bit since Pulisic and Willian have taken over some set pieces.
