Like yours, my GW 17 saw red arrows, mainly spoiled by KDB’s haul and now disappointingly around 1.5m.OR. I need a turnaround strategy…… Salah is gonna be part of it he looks like a must have being back in the ” zone” along with Alli or Kane and KDB, Sterling
I have already made some transfers, to bring KdB in.
After -8( KDB,Rico, Baldock in for Zaha, TAA, Robo) , my team is at this stage, as follows:
Henderson,(Button)
Chillwell, Lundstram, Kelly, Rico,( Baldock)
KdB, Son, Maddison, (Mane),(Chong)
Vardy, Rashford, Abraham
TV:
ITB: 1.6m
1.What are your general thoughts on my team and I need your advice on the following:
2. Do you think it is a good idea to make another transfer to bring in Alli for Mane, thereby dropping 1 of the defenders to the bench?. I see Alli’s price likely to increase tonight.
3. If answer is yes to above, which defender to drop to the bench?
4. Do you think Baldock is fine to be on the bench or should I replace any of the starting 4 or 3 defenders( depending on answer to 1 above)?.
“Keeping”! in mind Henderson is in my team.
5. Captain options….Son, Alli, KdB or Lundstram? Any others?

1. Top team. I might have to improve my attackers if I have a chance at beating it.
2. Depends on whether you are considering bring him back, or Salah, and if it will require damaging transfer hits. Your team looks strong as is for GW18, the hit is also a factor. Your call on this one.
3. Maybe Chilwell.
4. Ok on the bench.
5. I have it on Son at the moment, we’ll see if he can get in behind Chelsea’s defense. KDB is a great option for similar reasons, although it could be that final pass or shot from distance. If you bring in Alli, he has a good scoring record against Chelsea. Rashford also in the mix. So many good options this week, certainly not boring.

Hey. Leaning toward a gamble on Son who has been scoring at home recently.
Mount replacement, maybe Grealish? Wish you could go higher in price. Don’t know if you can swing Richarlison. If you don’t have Jimenez, Traore could also work, assuming he’s fully fit after a knock to his shoulder.

So I was thinking of taking a (-4) hit in GW19 to get Richarlison and Baldock for Chilwell and Zaha. Then in the next two GW I was thinking Pope and Hanley out for Martin and Fernandez because Newcastle fixture will get better in February!!
Then after these transfers my team will be :-
GK:- Guaita, Martin
DEF:- Baldock, Lundstrum, Rico, TAA , Fernandez
MID:- Grealish, KDB, Mane, Richarlison, Ali
FWD:- Ings, Abraham, Vardy
What do you think, can you improve it?! I’m worried about taking the hit because GW19 is looking really good and Ancelotti may improve Richarlison’s performance. And I’m picking Ali as my captain this week is out a good captain pick?

Alli is a good captain option this week. The question is whether the hit can work when Richarlison and Everton have been pretty good. That I don’t know.
Keep a close eye on Ings (fixtures turn for the worse soon) and Abraham (team and individual form).

Hey. Always smart to plan ahead. 👍 At this moment, I’m staying flexible and moving toward whichever plan makes most sense.
You would be aiming for a monster Power 7… I like your idea. One of mine was similar, except I was hoping to bank the transfer GW19 in order to make changes with 2FTs GW20. That’s the only suggestion, the option to bank the transfer.
With Lundy and Henderson, I might prefer Tomkins.
This type of comment is the easiest to rate with clear and detailed info.
