Festive fixtures.
Here’s a quick summary of the Gameweeks while I was away.
GW18 was a nightmare 34PTS (AVG 38PTS). Red card for my captain Son and I invested on double Spurs attackers for their easy run of games. Son was suspended for all of those games and it affected Dele Alli.
GW19 was solid 62PTS (AVG 49PTS). Dele Alli scored, but he went down injured near the end of that game. I made a decision to sell him and move for Grealish and Traore ahead of GW20.
GW20 was brutal 47PTS (AVG 54PTS). Grealish got 1 point on his debut for my team. Traore, Jimenez, Lundstram, Chilwell, Maddison and Vardy were either benched or completely absent. A captain blank meant big red arrows dropping my team dangerously close to the millionaires club in OR.

Hi. Frustrating week, we’ll see if things turn around GW23.
I’m worried about selling TAA who is the best defender in the game. Leaning toward keeping TAA for now, but there might be other ideas for Perez such as Doucoure/Sarr? Not sure yet, needs more thought because of the midweek games for teams like Watford.

Super close between them all. I would still hold on to TAA over Robertson. Would you consider Doucoure? I rate him just as high if not higher than Sarr.

I hope you had a good GW22. Mine started out with a last minute gamble selection, but somehow eventually worked better off.
I decided to replace Salah with Sterling,for a hit, due to better next 2 fixtures fir Man City…..and then Sterling never even played….
However, as I made the decision with seconds left to the deadline, I captained KDB over Vardy in error….a favourable error it turned out to be though🙂 with minor green arrows.
As ive dropped rank previously quite a bit, Im now playing FPL rather boldly with some brave moves, as I need to catchup.
My question to you is what is the better combination, if I decide to bring in another Man City player:
1. Rashford and Mahrez( in place of Traore)
2. Aguero(in place of Rashford) and Traore
Mahrez’ s price changes this evening and I have exact amount to bring him in.
Aguero is more explosive and less likely to rotate than Mahrez, but which combo will bring in more points long term?
Please let me know your views on above,if possible before price changes this evening.

The options are tricky because of the very next Gameweek. With just GW23 in mind, I might prefer Option 2. In the long-term, maybe Option 1, but it’s impossible to tell if Mahrez is fully nailed. Always a risk with Pep roulette.

Hi. Maybe it’s a tie between Doucoure and Traore. The next game could be the tie-breaker. Doucoure has the edge in form, Traore might beat him for the fixture.
Both could play midweek in the FA Cup before GW23.

Hey. Nice one. Even without Liverpool’s double Gameweek, I would prefer TAA. Richarlison can work well in he’s in great form, but he can be hot or cold. TAA is consistent.

Ola. I had one of the best vacations and can’t wait to go back soon.
Can see the issue with Pope as Burnley have been poor. I’m thinking of Ryan for my own team and I don’t really need a change in goal. 2FTs, so I’m aiming to use one. McCarthy is decent for the price while Southampton are playing well. I might prefer Ryan if funds allow it.
Similar situation as I mentioned on the latest GW23 video – https://youtu.be/HdrfuO64BuU – I would keep a close eye on Wolves players. They have to deliver GW23, no excuses. Don’t know if Traore picked up a knock in the FA Cup. I was editing the video when the game was on and watched the replay quickly at the end. It looked minor, almost like fatigue. Need an update from Nuno.
Rashford also came on as a sub, then off with a knock to his back. Don’t know if he will be fit for GW23.

I also got a poor score GW22 – 44pts. Have upgraded Reid to Robertson with my 1FT this week but wondering whether to wildcard to sell Mane so I can get KDB back and introduce Firmino instead of Jimenez as my 3rd Liverpool player ahead of double GW24. I’m also liking Watford assets and maybe an additional Brighton player given next couple of weeks. Your thoughts appreciated. Current team:

Hi. Sorry to hear that, red arrows here as well. Great questions. I may be moving for Robertson or Firmino DGW24, don’t know which just yet.
I would also consider a plan with one of Salah/Mane along with KDB. So difficult to choose one to cut! I have Salah with KDB, never know when these players will bring big points. I might aim to hold the Wildcard a little longer for the bigger blanks and double gameweeks that will come around GW31-GW32.
The latest GW23 video touches on Jimenez and many of these players. For my team, I’m leaning toward giving Jimenez a final chance or he could be out with Firmino one of the possible replacements.
From Watford, I would rate Doucoure high for value per points potential playing as a #10. I might then rank Sarr, Maupay then Trossard in that order.

Hey. Close between Maupay and Jimenez, smallest edge to Jimenez assuming all of his teammates are fully fit.
Leaning toward a gamble on Doucoure for the value, then I might trust Grealish a little more than Sarr who might still put in some inconsistent performances.
