Description.
- 76 points GW21! 🔥
- Watchlist revealed: WAT, BHA
- GW22 transfers, buy Robertson?
Festive fixtures.
Here’s a quick summary of the Gameweeks while I was away.

GW18 was a nightmare 34PTS (AVG 38PTS). Red card for my captain Son and I invested on double Spurs attackers for their easy run of games. Son was suspended for all of those games and it affected Dele Alli.
GW19 was solid 62PTS (AVG 49PTS). Dele Alli scored, but he went down injured near the end of that game. I made a decision to sell him and move for Grealish and Traore ahead of GW20.
GW20 was brutal 47PTS (AVG 54PTS). Grealish got 1 point on his debut for my team. Traore, Jimenez, Lundstram, Chilwell, Maddison and Vardy were either benched or completely absent. A captain blank meant big red arrows dropping my team dangerously close to the millionaires club in OR.
GW21 review is on this week’s video… 76PTS (AVG 48PTS) no hits.

Hey Bruno glad to know you had a great time off. I am looking to offload Alli and go for either of Richarlison and Traore. Thoughts on who’d be a better pick? Consider only up to GW 23 because for GW 24 I plan to offload the chosen player and upgrade to Salah. Current team looks as follows:
Gazzaniga Button
Soyunco, Lundstram, Rico, Kelly, Robertson
Alli, Maddison, Mane, KDB, Cantwell
Vardy, Jimenez, Ings
ITB: 2.3 + 2FT (TV 103.1)
So the plan is to get rid of Alli and go for either Richarlison/Traore and then for GW 24, downgrade Jimenez to DCL and upgrade Richarlison/Traore to Salah.

Hey. Yes, I had an amazing time. Both are promising options. Leaning toward Traore as he has been nearly impossible to stop and Wolves will want to make up for last week’s defeat.
Great team. 👍

Great video as always. I have gone double Liverpool defence. Might be time to jump on them now as they are racking up clean sheets.
A bit unsure what to do.
Would you recommend Pope to another Goalkeeper or Pukki to Ings/Jimenez. This would mean benching Troare and Soyuncu.
Pope
Kelly, TAA, Soyuncu
Mane, KDB, Alli, Maddison
Abraham, Vardy, Pukki
4m, Grealish, Rico, Lundstram
0.5m 2FT

They have turned it around defensively. My only concern is Tottenham and Mourinho can be difficult to predict.
Leaning toward giving Pope one more chance vs. Chelsea, then moving for Jimenez, but it’s up to you!
Ings can also work, but his fixtures make it trickier. If I get double Liverpool defense this week, I would probably bench Ings.

Not really feeling it for my own team. Two red fixtures according to our cheatsheet and they don’t improve in the long-run.
If you plan on making another change after the DGW, then it could work well.

Hi Bruno, happy to have you back and hope you had a good time in Florida. While you were gone my fpl team were gone as well lol. Need abit of advise from you.
Current team:
Henderson (Stekelenburg)
TAA soyuncu lundstram (rico, kelly)
Mane Salah KDB Perez (romeu)
vardy ings jimenez
I am honestly not sure of how my team is set up for the next couple of weeks (atleast till the DGW). I currently have 0.0m itb. What are your thoughts on:
a) TAA for VVD to upgrade Perez to grealish (+0.5m itb)
b) TAA for gomez to upgrade Perez to maddison (+ 0.5m itb)
c) TAA for robbo to upgrade perez to grealish (but short of 0.1m so have to downgrade either rico or kelly)
d) leave it as it is
Or do you have any other suggestions in mind? Please advise and thank you so much in advance.

Hi. Thanks for sticking around, I really appreciate it.
It was a wild ride for my own team, so I know what you mean. 🙂
a) TAA is so strong that I might stick with the current combo. Grealish has a tricky fixture this week, but I understand why you have him on the Watchlist.
b) Very interesting. So hard to suggest selling TAA. I have Maddison which makes it even tougher!
c) Maybe not this week because of fixtures, but it’s another option.
d) This is the one I might suggest this week, using another round of games to make a final decision with more information.
No big suggestions, only to say that you could be on the right track with Perez if he fails to deliver. Other players are set.

Hi Bruno
Good to have you back and refreshed. It appears your enjoyed the family time some great family photos. Thats awesome, as those are the moments and memories that are the most meaningful to us.
Ps:How many kids do you have and their ages?. I have 2 busy boys, 5 and 11…..one believes he is the next Ronaldo😀
On to FPL, cant wait for GW22 to start.
After a -4 hit to bring in Gomez and Sidibe before price changes, heres my current team:
Fabianski,( Button)
TAA, Gomez, Sidibe,( Kelly),(Rico)
Salah, De Bruyne, Maddison, Martial, (Traore)
Vardy, Rashford, Jiminez
ITB: 0.3m
Tv: 106.8m
On my current team can you advise:
1. Overall thoughts on my team, key areas/ players covered and team balance.
2. Is Maddison’s injury likely to keep him out of the team this weekend?
3. Besides Maddison’s injury do you agree to start him over Traore whose on the bench?
4. Captaincy ….anyone of the mids or forwards could be captain?. Im leaning towards Rashford though and his home record against highest goal conceders Norwich, with Vardy an alternative option and Jiminez at home against Newcastle also in my thinking. Your thoughts and recommendations?
5. Players, including West Ham DGW players on my GW 23/24 watchlist:
Robo, Ings, Calvern Lewin,Mane, Soyuncu, Haller,Noble, Mahrez, Sterling. Any other key solid/explosive players to keep in mind?
6. Would you recommend playing triple captain in DGW 24?. TAA or Salah an option.
7. Its been mentioned that Mane has a better away record than Salah and Liverpool play both DGW24 matches away to Wolves and West Ham. Would it not be wise to include Mane in DGW24 team? Possibly to monitor after GW22 away game.
Your feedback on the above and any other views you may have would be appreciated.

Hi. Yes, it was amazing. My kids are 8 and 11, now we also have two tiny pet turtles that we brought back from Florida. 🙂
Liking the moves for the differentials. They are both on my Watchlist.
1. All the positions look good overall, no obvious weaknesses.
2. Best guess is Maddison will be ok. I watched it again and he took an elbow to the face in the final seconds of the game.
3. I would probably choose Maddison over Traore, although I’m set to start both this week for my team.
4. Captain, Rashford could work as a gamble. The safer option might be Vardy with rest in the last two Gameweeks, and I believe it might be his birthday when he plays this weekend. Jimenez could also work, but I might stick with the bigger guns this round.
5. Nice list. I can add the ones I posted on the video such as Sarr or Maupay. Not really feeling West Ham assets, but I’ll watch again this weekend to check.
6. Depends on what happens between now and then, but it’s a strong fit for the TC chip, yes. Salah most likely in my case.
7. Maybe. In my plan, it’s not Mane vs. Salah, but rather Mane vs. Robertson plus quality attackers in the final starting positions, and bench cover (with no hits). I haven’t ruled out Mane yet, still open to it, but I’m never happy cutting the team depth in my drafts. For example, I may bench Lundstram vs. City GW24 and play Grealish vs. Watford. If I go for Mane, I might need to sell Grealish, or Maddison, which doesn’t feel right.
Those are the thoughts. Thanks for the great comment as always. 👍

Hello Bruno, welcome back, and Happy New Year.
Seeking your advice on the team.
I have 2 FTs and 0.9M banked.
Pope (Button)
TAA, Lundstram, Soyuncu, (Kelly & Fernandez)
Mane, KdB, Traore, Maddison (D. Luiz)
Vardy, Jimenez, Abraham
Given the fixtures this week I am tempted to stay pat, and then next week free up funds by selling Abraham for Inges and then using the funds to do either:
1) Sell D.Luiz for Grealish or
2) Sell Fernandez for VvD (2 Liverpool defenders). Don’t have the funds for Robertson. After GW24, would go give up VvD for Grealish
So do you think the Abraham to Inges swap makes sense, and if so should I wait until next week or pull that trigger this week and have 2 FTs next week? Also VvD is not on your list, is that due to his price and scoring potential?
Appreciate (as always) all your advice.
Citizen.

Hello. Happy New Year.
Thinking the same for your team. Fixtures are in your favor this week.
Leaning toward waiting. The big question is Ings and tricky upcoming fixtures. His next four are red according to our latest cheatsheet, then it’s solid green for the following five through GW30. I’m still deciding whether to bench him this week, but it’s so difficult with his current form.
One more round of games could make it easier to decide.
I like Grealish for a solid run of games GW24-GW27. From the two options, I’m stuck deciding as you make a move for Grealish with either one. Option feels clean snd simple, but Option 2 does make DGW24 more exciting.
VVD is not on my Watchlist only because I prefer Robertson at a similar price. I have Gomez in there, so VVD would be an even better option than Gomez, but it didn’t make sense for my team with Robertson.

Hai Bruno,
Welcome Back & Happy New Year
My current squad :
Ramsdale(Button)
TAA, Soy, Sidibe,Rico, Lundstram(Kelly)
De Bruyne, Grealish, Martial, Traore(Maddison)
Vardy(C) Jiminez(Kane)

2) Traore/Madisson out bring in Salah/Mane
Your comment and advice highly appreciated….

Hi. Thanks! Happy New Year.
This is interesting because even with Kane out on your bench tying up a ton of money, you already have a decent team this week with fixtures in your favor.
I can rate the players, but the final decision is more difficult.
Between Ings and Abraham, I prefer the value that Ings offers in the long-run. Of course the problem is his fixtures aren’t the greatest so you have to be cautious with Kane’s replacement. Wish you could wait another round to have better info, but I can understand the need for moves with Ings in top form, and Kane’s price is dropping quickly, Ings close to a rise.
The other note is that Traore and Maddison are quality picks, not easy to suggest selling them. I suppose if forced to sell one, it could be Traore?
Let’s see how Martial and United perform after the midweek defeat to City. No excuses against Norwich.

Hi Bruno, great to have you back and Florida with family sounds amazing! especially when you are from the cold Nordics 😉
I need to rise in ranks soon. OR 1m atm.
I am going with Salah, Mane and TAA for GW24. I have them all now but thinking of a one week punt for Sterling this GW against Aston Villa and get him in instead of Salah.
I also have Kdb and will not loose money selling salah and rebuy next week.
Would you recommend Sterling over Salah this GW?
Only concern is if Sterling is benched when playing 90 min mid-week, any thoughts on that?
Thanks!

Hi. Yes, that’s funny. It was unbelievable to walk on the beach with our feet in the water, it was warm enough to swim.
For a one-week punt, I might take a chance on Sterling because we have clear info on the fixtures. Sterling has the edge as we never know what Mourinho can pull against the better teams.
Not exactly sure how to rate Sterling vs. United a few days ago. He had so many chances to score, but lacked composure in the key moments. It’s good that he was in those positions, but Pep can sometimes get tough on big players who don’t punish opponents even when winning. That’s the only minor note.
Salah is the safe option, I don’t have a solid prediction for how he or Mane will do this week. Sterling I would rate higher, assuming there are no shocks from Pep rotation roulette!
I wrote all these thoughts before reading your last sentence… it’s whether you want to take that risk to make up ground. I don’t know because I’m playing it somewhat cautious at this moment after seeing more red arrows than I had hoped for during the festive period.

Hi Bruno , 51 points so far with kdb yet to play small green arrows pls advise on below moves:
current team
Pope/Button
TAA, Soy, Lund, Kelly, Rico
Salah, KDB, Madds, Alli, Luiz
Vardy, Rash, Ings
2ft, 0,6 itb
was initially planning to do alli + rash -> mane + dcl prior to gw 23 but not so sure now because of rash and dcl yesterdays performance. anyway below are my options so pls advise :
a. Alli + Rash -> Mane + DCL/Maupay (which?)
b. Pope -> McCarthy
c. Alli + Kelly -> Grealish + Robbo
d. any other moves you may suggest
thx bud
Upper 90 Studios
13/01/20
Hi. a) Not sure about this one either after all the performances. I would rate DCL/Maupay the same as far as scoring potential. The safer choice to match up against strong FPL managers is DCL with his higher ownership.
b) I would also rate Ryan, but it depends on your future plans.
c) This is similar to one of my options still on the plate for the DGW, but I’m still undecided for my own team so it’s harder to point you in a set direction.
d) For your team, nothing else is really making sense. I might’ve added Firmino to the mix, but Rashford should be a good option GW24, so I’m not sure about that short-term swap.
The midweek games for United, Spurs and other teams is another factor.
