Hi Bruno, i am yr top fan now. Hahahahaha. Now i ve been thinking for whole week whether to choose tammy over callum wilson. My heart kept saying to choose wilson. anyhow, i need yr opinion also. Thanks π

Hi. That’s funny! Thanks! Well, I see your question, and it’s a difficult one.
I would trust Wilson more because of my experience with him in FPL in the past. Although Tammy has great potential with stronger attacking players around him. He is young and could put in inconsistent performances, but to be fair, he has been top class so far this season.
If you have Mount, maybe Wilson. Without Mount, I might take a gamble on Tammy. π

Masuaku or Diop ?

Hi Bruno
Is it a problem not having KDB? I have Sterling, Salah and Aguero….
Upper 90 Studios
26/09/19
Hi. We can all score points with different combinations of players.
If forced to choose two Man City players at this very moment, I might choose KDB then Aguero. Sterling is a top player in FPL, the only concern is the timing right now as he has a small risk of rotation in the league.
You know the dangers of swapping premium players, so I can’t recommend anyone drop Sterling. I can only show you my transfer plan and team, then it’s up to you to agree or disagree.
It’s a difficult decision! I hope it works well for you. π

Hi Bruno,
Keep up with te good work! Congrats!
Last week was awesome! I risked and went with 8 point hit but it paid off. I went with:
Ryan (Button)
Otamendi, Lundstram, Digne, Maguire, (Dunk)
Lamela, Salah (vc), Mount, KDN (c), (Sterling)
Callum Wilson, Pukki, (Wickham)
Turned out to score 91 points, 40 more than half my league competitors and 20 more than my upper competitors. It paid off as i climbed up the mini legue fast!
This week i went agressive again! 8 point hit. Will it go great again!?! π Soon to find out! Traded Maguire, Lamela and Wickham for Soyuncu, Nakamba and Abraham. So my team for GW 7 is as follows;
Ryan (Button)
Otamendi, Digne, Soyuncu, (Lundstram, Dunk)
Salah (c), Mount, KDN, Sterling, (Nakamba)
Callum Wilson, Pukki, Abraham (vc)
What do you think! Too big off a risk!?
Cheers and thanks for all the great videos and insights!!

Hi Jorge,
I will, thanks! Sometimes we take risks to feel confident about the team again. Wow 91pts is a monster score, congrats! π
It’s one of the best teams I’ve seen. Too big of a risk? When we trust what we’re seeing from watching games, it sometimes leads to more hits than we would normally take. It usually works out in the end in my experience. Stay flexible. Sometimes taking hits, other times being conservative. No set rules.
You’re well in control now, I wish you big green arrows GW7.

Hi Bruno
Who do you think would be the best option to captain this weekend between Sterling, Mane and Firmino?
Thanks
Josh
Upper 90 Studios
26/09/19
Hi Josh. Leaning toward a gamble on Firmino. If Salah or Mane score, there’s a chance Firmino will be involved.
Sterling is a top pick if he starts. He scored and had an assist midweek. Wish we knew if he was 100% nailed-on for GW7. He started the midweek game again, so we could make a case for reducing the risk of a 1-point cameo from the bench by not captaining him. Up to you, he has a high scoring potential and Man City are scoring goals for fun. The only concern is Pep roulette.
I don’t have the best assessment of Mane at this moment, but he has good scoring potential with the fixture.

Hi Bruno,
Congrats on your last week’s points. I’m really happy that I listened to you and transferred Sterling to Aguero. But I don’t know why I benched Lundstram. Anyway here’s my team for GW 7 :
Ederson(McGovern)
Digne, AWB, Van Dijk, Lundstram, Soyuncu
Salah, KDB, Mount, Cantwell, Hayden
Pukki, Aguero, Abraham
I just transferred in Abraham for Haller so I have 0.0 ITB and 0 FT. But the problem with my team is the defenders and goalkeeper (Ederson, VVD and AWB). I’m desperate to get Pope, Otamendi and TAA into my team. Considering their fixtures and performance what is the best way to get them.
And also which three defenders should I play for GW 7. Please help me out π
Thanks.

26/09/19
Hi. I’m happy to hear it worked out with Aguero. He should’ve scored more, hopefully he’s saving his best for GW7.
I agree with your assessment of the team. Now it’s about tightening up the defense.
With Ederson, there’s less pressure to bring in Otamendi. Unless he continues to score from corners and set pieces. He does have that advantage over Ederson, but it might not be a priority just yet. TAA is so dangerous in the attack, I have a plan to bring him in if he continues to outscore VVD.
Didn’t like seeing United on the back foot while down 2 goals vs. West Ham. They need their best attackers to return from injury or they may spend more time defending and inviting opponents.
You have an excellent squad. Possibly Digne, VVD, Soyuncu as the starters. Lundstram first off the bench, although in my case I will most likely start him because I have less depth.
Thanks for the comment.

Hi Bruno, hope all well on your side and congrats on your GW6 score!! Fantastic!!!
I was hoping you could help me out with my bench. I have already used 2FT this week and still have some problems with my team that I will need to resolve over the coming weeks.. such as double Liverpool defense, wanting Pope instead of Ryan and selling Ceballos (really struggling to get rid of this guy each week due to other priorities). My problem is I am not sure who to start and who to bench for this week. My thoughts were as follows:
Ryan (Button)
TAA, VVD, Tomori (Lundstram, Dunk)
Sterling, Salah, De Bruyne, McGinn (Ceballos)
Greenwood, Pukki, Abraham
Please could you take a look and let me know if you think I should swap around the bench with other starters and also if you think I have the bench ordering right? At the moment the bench is ordered with Lundstram 1st, Ceballos 2nd and Dunk 3rd.
Many, many thanks for your help!

Hi. Thanks!!! Happy to see big green arrows after some rough scores.
You have the team set perfectly, as well as the bench order. π
A future plan could be to bump Ceballos to Mount. VVD might be the one sacrificed for funds if he fails to deliver consistent returns. No excuse to get back on the points against Sheffield United GW7.
Thanks for the comment.

Hi Bruno!
What do you think of My squad for this week. Im going for the 3-5-2.
Pope
Aurier VVD Otamendi
Son Salah Sterling KDB Mount
Barnes Ayew
(Lundstram,Kelly,Wickham)
Do you think it is a strong squad, im thinking of captain Son because Southampton at home is a very nice fixture for spurs but what do you think of the team and who to captain?
Upper 90 Studios
26/09/19
Hi! Spurs have to show a response in front of the home fans after two poor performances. I have Son as vice captain at this moment. Never know with Spurs, it is a gamble with a high payoff.
KDB and Salah are other strong captain options. Man City are scoring for fun with KDB always involved. Sterling is high in the mix, the smallest risk if he doesn’t start.
Pope
Aurier VVD* Otamendi
Son Salah Sterling KDB Mount
Barnes* Ayew*
*Have to deliver very soon or it might be time to look at replacements.
Keep an eye on Abraham and Pukki up front. No idea what Pep is thinking with Sterling. If he continues to be benched in the league, consider a swap to Aguero depending on performances.
Only minor notes, nothing required to change this week. Take in another round of games with more information to make the best decision.

Hi Bruno
Congrats on your GW6 success and keep the blog going!!
As for me l scored 72pts with Sterling as captain and KDB as vice got me out of jail and with Zinchenko benched (which took me by surprise) Lundstram came in, so a little lucky last GW with a double whammy of 29pts.
Below is my current squad and l already moved Otamendi for Zenchenko for the price rise with x1 FT and Β£0.1 ITB;
Pope (Button)
*Wan-B / VVD / Otamendi – (Lunstarm / *Digne)
Salah / Sterling / KDB / Mount / Dendoncker
Pukki / C. Wilson (*Greenwood)
Below is my current thinking, Plan A would move to a 3-5-2 or 4-5-1.
Plan B would move to 3 forwards.
l still have my WC which l plan to use around GW12
PLAN A.
GW7 – Wan-B > 4.5 Tomori (slight game time risk) / Lowton (Burnley looking more
solid and good fixtures) /Diop has decent stats / Soyunco 4.6 and a good run of
fixtures.
Dendoncker > Cantwell for a minus -4pts (though Norwich can’t score away)
GW8 – This would leave Β£0.6 ITB to possibly upgrade VVD>TAA or Otamendi > Mendy
for their attacking returns.
PLAN B.
GW7 – Wan-B > Rico / Digne > 4.5 as above (though with price drops l am 0.1 short)
for -4pt hit
GW8 – Greenwood > Abraham
PLAN C.
GW7 – C. Wilson > Abraham – not sure on this move as l see Wilson as a bit of a differential, but with 32% ownership it is tempting as he’s becoming a template player.
At the moment l am leaning towards Plan A as this gives me a solid midfield with a bit of wiggle room. Also l feel l need to move Wan-B as United midfield through injuries and not firing at all is placing pressure on the defense.
Plan B is an option, though it does weaken the defense some what.
Also Digne and Everton are whey off the pace at the moment and he’s on the chopping block, but l may stick with him and bench him this week and wait and see over the next 3 GW’s.
Not sure on captain this week which is currently on Salah, though Sheffield are proving a strong outfit and l may switch to KBD as he seems to be involved in every City attack.
Your comments / thoughts are always much appreciated.
All the best

Hi Malc,
Thank you, I will! π Glad it worked out for you with the players stepping in. That’s what they’re there for. You chose those players in your squad, it’s not completely luck.
Can understand the transfer, Zinchenko to Otamendi.
PLAN A. That’s funny, I have all of your defenders on my Watchlist. Liking this plan for the future. I’m aiming at something very similar. Soyuncu is a good option, GW8 vs. Liverpool might need a rotation plan. I’m watching them all closely, but I would like one more round of games to have more info.
PLAN B. Can work also. Not sure if Rico is nailed-on in the long-term. I watched Bournemouth GW6 and he made many mistakes giving the ball away in deep positions, allowing dangerous crosses. For the price, it could be worth a gamble if he continues to start regularly. Digne is a tough one, we know what he can do. Everton have to raise their game.
PLAN C. That’s probably the hardest question I’ve seen this week. I have no solution to this one, feels a little sideways?
Agree with you. Leaning toward Plan A.
Between Salah and KDB for captain. Man City look like they can score with every attack and as you said, KDB is involved. His positioning is higher than ever this season. This game could be a defining moment for Marco Silva, we’ll see which Everton turn up as that will be crucial for Man City players in FPL. As you said, Sheffield United can put in a shift, some unknowns.
Thanks for the great comment with the assessment of the players.

Hey Bruno.
Congrats on the gameweek ! I got lucky with Sterling C and Bruyne VC, which scored me a total of 79 points. My question is whether rotating keepers for a while might be worth it? I cant see any other needed upgrades right now:
Ryan – Button
TAA – Kelly – Soyu – (Digne – Lundstram)
Salah – Sterling – Bruyne – Mount – Cantwell
Abraham – Pukki – (Greenwood)
Got 2.7m in the bank, so I am considering whether i should upgrade a def or go with Button -> Pope and downgrade a goalkeeper sometime later when i need the money?
I do fancy Firmino and Aguero, but Sterling is rested so I will give him a few more chances. Mendy might make it over Otamendi for def transfer, if he truly is back for more than 45min next gw.

Hey. Thanks! That’s a monster score 79pts! You chose the right vc. π
The goalkeeper position remains my weakest area to assess. Whether to rotate or use just one, then spend the funds on the rest of the squad? I’m leaning toward going for value in the GK positions to invest more in the attack.
Sterling is a top player. As long as he’s starting regularly, he will score. Firmino has been impressive, Aguero also. Mendy is one to watch if he continues to start and play full games regularly.
Your team is ready.
