Hi Bruno
Had 79 points in GW6 moving me from the 500k to the 100k…was so lucky I had KDB VC.
My team for this week:
G: Pope
D: Robbo, Rico, Aurier
M: Mount, Son(C), KDB, Salah
F: Barnes, Abraham(VC), Pukki
Sub: Button, Lundstram, Cantwell, Digne.
Team Value 102.6
So i had 2FTs
1- Zinchenko Out Aurier In
2- Wickham Out Abraham In.
I also took a -4hit and a big risk like you said “Risk is a dangerous word but in Fpl is a motivational word” (this statement is motivation itself)
to bring in Son for Sterling.
Cause I feel Son could out score him this week at home to SOU.
Actually it’s what I can reverse back if the worst comes to the worst. I’ve got the funds and Sterling price dropped as well.
if Son Outscores Sterling this week I will keep him for the upcoming favourable fixture before switching back.
In addition…
I’m looking to bring in Peirera (LEI) for Digne
at that price bracket Digne as failed to deliver as expected.
Peirera also pose an attacking threat as Digne and looking at Leicester upcoming fixtures looks great.
or would you suggest I go for a cheaper Soyunchu? To invest elsewhere.
What do you think of this and of my new signings too??
Also about the Captaincy.
Abraham looks tempting but it’s on Son.
what do you suggest?
How’s my team Overall?
Wish you green arrows this week…
Thanks.

Hi. That’s amazing, 79pts! Those are some brave moves, I love it. Yes, didn’t expect Sterling to drop in price so quickly, it allows making the swap if needed in the future. The price changes have been this way all season, hard for players to rise, then they fall after one blank.
Can see your point with Digne. This is a key game for Marco Silva. If he loses big and gets sacked, I may keep Digne for the response we normally see with a manager change. Difficult question over the replacement, I prefer the more attack-minded Pereira, but it depends on whether you can invest the extra money in other areas. Soyuncu is becoming a popular choice, difficult GW8 away vs. Liverpool for Leicester. Not sure which to choose in your situation, let’s see what happnes this weekend.
Can see taking a chance on Son captain, Spurs have to win big at home. KDB and Salah are also in the mix with Abraham the bigger gamble.
No concerns for your team, you have the right players in mind for future transfers.
Good luck! 👍

Hi Bruno,
Hope your team is set and ready for GW7. I am still very torn between captaincy.
My gut is saying to go with Son since he always seems to do well at home. Salah, KDB, Aguero haven’t performed that great away from home so far this season. But i am afraid i might fall off the ranks if they perform really well. What would you recommend? Who are you inclining towards captaining?
Home game against southhampton looks very juicy for Sonaldo 😀

Hi. It’s ready. 👍 I will post it very soon.
Know what you mean with Son, very tempting! I’m thinking about Everton and Marco Silva, this is a crucial game that could decide his future. If Everton collapse in this game, Man City players could take advantage.
I have the captaincy on Aguero for the form (team and individual) and high points-ceiling. But there are other options like KDB, Salah and Son. My only concern with Son is Tottenham’s recent performances, although they won big in their last league game at home.

Hi Bruno, hope you are doing well.
Would love your thoughts on my team for GW7. Same as GW6, saving a transfer for potential moves in GW8
Pope (Button)
TAA, Digne, Lundstrom, PvA (Kelly)
Salah, Sterling, KdB, Mount (Douglas Luiz)
Abraham, Pukki (Greenwood Sub 1)
On captain torn between Sterling or Salah but this week and Brighton going to the Bridge Abraham might be ready for a big game.
As always, thank you for your advice.

Hi. Doing well, thanks. Looks set. So many options for the captaincy. I may stick with a Man City attacker, but Salah is also in the mix. Abraham is a bigger gamble that could also work.
Leaning toward a City attacker, struggling to choose one for your side.

Hi Bruno,
Thank you for being inspirational. Been following your posts since day 1 of the season.
I need your advice man, I feel my team is loaded heavily on the attacking side, with a bit light weight on defence
I’m going with 3-4-3 for GW6
Ryan (Button)
Rico, VVD, Aurier (Lundstram, Kelly)
Salah, mount, kdb, son (cantwell)
Auba, Pukki, Abraham
Considering either salah or abra as capt
N shall I start lord Lundstram in expense of who?

Hi. You’re welcome. Thank you. 👍
Can understand the top-heavy team as that’s where the points are coming from.
I like how you’ve set the starters and bench. Not seeing a way to improve it.
If forced to choose between the two, leaning toward Salah as captain. Arsenal’s away form continues to disappoint, but we know Auba can score against anyone, so it’s up to you.

Hi Bruno
Would you take a -4 hit and change Maitland Niles to Soyuncu?
Thanks and wishing big green arrows your way.

Hi. That’s a difficult one. Leicester have the edge with the fixture, but there’s always a risk when taking a hit. Keep in mind Leicester play Liverpool away GW8, so plan ahead with rotation in your squad if needed.
I can speak for my situation. Price changes are one of a few reasons why I will most likely be taking a hit this week, and it also involves a defender. If it doesn’t work in the very next Gameweek, it should in the long-run.
No easy solution to this one. 🤔
You too, good luck!

Ola Bruno, who are capping this gw? Im torn bw Kun and Son thx to share views

Ola. Both great this week. Kun could’ve scored like 7 goals in the last two games and I trust Man City over Tottenham also. Plus his points ceiling.
Kun for me.

Hey Bruno..congrats on the previous game week..I had the same game score as well as yrs getting 75..I’m tempted actually for a question..Chelsea’s upcoming fixtures looks very very decent and tho I have mount I am tempted for the attacking force Chelsea has to deliver as we saw last week even with a loss they gave a strong fight with Liverpool..
Well I was thinking to get in Abraham as I see him scoring a lot goals on that great fixtures but I can only do that by selling Pukki..
Yes even Norwich has a few good fixtures but pukki has been not as consistent as how I see Abraham does
With Yr advise do you tvink it’s a wise move to just out pukki for Abraham?
Upper 90 Studios
27/09/19
Hey, thanks. I agree with you. Chelsea looked dangerous against Liverpool and probably should’ve scored more goals.
So close between the two. Hard to suggest selling Pukki, he has more points than Salah, Mane and Sterling. But I can see your reasoning.
Stumped on this one, sorry!

Sup dudes,
What do you think is the better option for the long run? Aguero +mane or auba + sterling (and miss out on Liverpool players for the foreseeable future)
Upper 90 Studios
27/09/19
What’s up. Wow, another difficult question. They have a similar scoring potential.
Sterling has high ownership with strong FPL managers, so that combo feels safer in that sense. But Aguero+Mane is a high-ceiling combo.
Struggling to choose one! 🤔

I hit hard this gw (-8)
Should I free hit ? Or save it for later ?
i hate taking big

Olá. Leaning toward saving the chips for the Double Gameweeks and Blank Gameweeks that will come later in the season.
The hit might not pay off in the very next Gameweek, so you have to go into it with a realistic aproach.
Sometimes it works straight away. I was thankful for big green arrows last week after a -8 hit, and I wish you the same if you go for it. 👊

Hi Bruno, as always I think that the advice this week is intriguing. My dilemma is at the back. I have Pope as first choice in nets. My question is whether to have a good backup option like Ryan with Tomini as a defender OR Button and trade up to Aurier to cover off the Elite 64. Really interested in your thoughts, please advise. thanks Jon

27/09/19
Hi Jon, thanks. That’s a good question. The goalkeeper spot is one of my weaker areas to assess, so trust your instinct.
Overall, GKs haven’t been scoring well this season. I might suggest going cheaper to invest in positions that have a higher points potential. I may use this strategy next week if I bring in another attack-minded defender similar to your plan.
In my case, that’s only possibly by fielding a £4m backup GK.
