***UPDATE: KDB injured, Hayden suspended! The positive is Kelly might come in off the bench since Sakho is out injured again. Banking a transfer to have 2FTs for the international break. Keeping KDB because I don’t want to use up a transfer on a player who is staying for the long-run, Guardiola said he will return GW9. Similar reasoning as Mount a few weeks back.
The pressure is on Aguero and Son to deliver, no excuses, even if they’re benched! If they fail to deliver, I may make a change on the premium differentials. Captain Aguero, vice captain Salah. Pochettino hinted at rotation… does he know Son was subbed early GW7? I can’t blame him for being confused, I feel the same way this week. Approaching this round with an open mind! Thanks for watching!!! 👍💯 -Bruno
PS: I have my school reunion this weekend, so I will miss many of the live games, then catch up early in the week. I might post a photo or two on social media. Later! 🎓

Wow, interesting results and performances in the Champions League already! will Aguero even start this weekend after playing the midweek game? Is De Bruyne injured? I may change the captain and vice-captain just to be safe, or make a new transfer plan…

Waah, Bruno, think I’ll try and fetch your video-intro as a ringtone on my iPhone 😁. Currently on Miles Davis’ Full Nelson. Just jumping up everytime someone gives me a call!
It’s been a while, but OK, I’m back and, well yes, stuck a bit, too.
For all sorts of different reasons. See most of us having similar teams, but strategies and priorities have diversed remarkably.
Cruised in the nearness of the ‘suspected’ template, used an early WC in GW4, but have not seen any green arrows yet! Being held-up the ranks by a glorious start. Sticking around the average for weeks, I’m now surviving round the 1,6M.
GW7 brought one of those classic FPL mishits anybody can recall. Never was a great fpl-friend of Aurier, but, what was that? assists, a VAR-discarded goal? no Trippier in sight? Couldn’t resist it and we know the outcome🥴.
Forgot about it and fast. Got onto the nearest alternative, should have been Tomori in the first place.
Hope to extend the following team over the IB without a hit.
Pope,
TAA, Tomori, Lundstram
Mane, Mount, KDB, Sterling
Pukki, Abraham, Haller
(Button, James, Lowton, Kelly)
TV = 102,2 ITB = 0,4
Will keep a close eye on the expected price-changes. I intend to get Yarmolenko for James and at their current value it would just enable to do Haller to Callum Wilson. Just a bit sharper, I guess.
We can’t have them all. This feels closest to my concept. Going for other big hitters would bring major changes. Is possible, but I’m not tempted yet.
Thanks again for the good work and all the best!

Hey Wouter. The positive is we can still make big leaps in the OR. 👍 Liking the transfer you already made, high on my Watchlist.
Yes, can see the idea with Wilson on this current form. No need for big changes with your squad at this stage, and the bench might come in handy for you if KDB is out. My team is a different story… Backup plan is ready for next week just in case.
Liking the ideas to climb up the rankings. Appreciate the update and wish you the best of luck!

Hi Bruno!
Just a short question. Mount or Madisson and why? If Mount because of Leicester vs Liverpool, then what about after gw8 (assuming neither suffer injury during IB)?
Upper 90 Studios
03/10/19
Hi! Both great picks with attack-minded managers. Initially I wrote that I might give the smallest edge to Mount because of value, then I logged in and didn’t realize they were so close in price! Sometimes even a small price difference can allow improvements in other positions. Not a major factor in this case, but we have to consider everything. Nothing worse than being off by £0.1m to make a transfer. 🙂
Fixtures are similar overall, except GW8 as you mentioned. Another factor is ownership stats with strong FPL managers. Mount is highly-owned, Maddison isn’t. If you feel like taking a chance on a differential, Maddison could work. If you think your team is too off-template and don’t want that stress, maybe choose Mount.
Liverpool vs. Leicester is a crucial game, can’t wait for this one. Newcastle made Leicester look Barcelona last week, so they will be tested GW8.

Hi Bruno,
Pope(Button)
Robertson, Digne, Otamendi, LundSTAR(Soy)
Sterling, KDB, Mount(Dendoncker, Cantwell)
Auba, Pukki, Abraham
So this week I went high risk high reward with 2 transfers and -4 hit.
Transfer out:Salah, Greenwood
Transfer in: Auba, Dendoncker
Bank: 2 million which I was saving for Pukki -> Vardy GW9
I am happy with changes, I like Auba and I think he is going to outscore Salah in next 5/6 gameweeks. I knew KDB was injured and possible to miss GW8 and then international break comes he gets better and we continue. My plan was just Cantwell with Aston Villa at home for KDB. And then I see rumor that Cantwell suffered a hamstring injury and he might miss that game.
Now if the report says Cantwell doesn’t play is it worth to take a -8 hit with Cantwell->Yarmolenko/McGinn or just let Soy come in with probably 1/2 points and give that up.
Thing is if I do -8 I will use 1.2(Yar) or 0.9(McGinn) from the bank and then I won’t have for Vardy which is not the end of the world because I can always sell Digne which is my weakest link and I thought about moving him for Tomori but that would be another hit.
What are your thoughts about all of this?
Thanks for your oppinion and keep up with the good work :D.

Or should I just transfer KDB for Mane also an option
Upper 90 Studios
03/10/19
Leaning toward keeping KDB for the long-run. In my case, I don’t want to have to buy him back GW9, but we all have different plans.
Sometimes it can work to make short-term gambles if it doesn’t require multiple hits.

Hi. Can see the reasoning with Aubameyang who is top form. 👍
The timing with the bench options this week is frustrating. Quite a few FPL managers could be struggling if KDB misses out this week, including me. 🙂
Leaning toward holding off on the additional hit and allowing a bench player to step in. GW7 was a low-scoring round for key players, so I’m watching players and replacements closely with the possiblity of making moves after the international break.
Whether to commit to moves now or during the IB is a difficult decision. Let’s see if we get more info on KDB and Cantwell, then reassess.
Thanks for the comment!

Hi again Bruno 🙂
What are your thoughts about this team?
Pope
Soyuncu, VVD, Otamendi, Lundstram
Salah, KdB, Yarmolenko, Mount
Aguero, Aubameyang
This team will give me a -4 hit.
Thanks Bruno!

Hi. Excellent team overall. The only notes are Soyuncu has a difficult fixture this week vs. Liverpool, and KDB could miss out with injury.
After the last two rounds, it’s hard to predict what will happen GW8. Will we see big scores like GW6 or key players blanking again like GW7?
Your team has flexibility and it could work well for the future. The only question is the timing for 1-2 players this round.

Hi. Nice one, always appreciate these tips. Thought he looked hungry cutting in from the left in the Champions League.
I’ll try to include my top picks and players to avoid in future content, like I used to. The videos are time-consuming, sometimes I have to leave stuff out.

Hi Bruno ,
Happy to see your video every game week .
Currently feeling stuck with the team as I too suffered setback after 75 points previous week.
Wanted your suggestion on few points
Is Digne worth keeping ? His ownership is the only reason I am holding on.
Any update on b Silva ban ?
Opinion on playing cantwell over diop ?
Cheers ,
Jeff

Hi Jeff. Glad to hear that, thanks. 👍
Know the feeling after such a good score in the previous round. Digne didn’t play well against Man City, then again, it was City. Everton on the other hand, they played well which increases Digne’s scoring potential. I’m kind of excited about having him as a differential, but there are other options for the future if he continues to disappoint. Players like Pereira, or cheaper ones like Tomori and Soyuncu.
Bernardo will find out his fate during the international break. He’s only been charged at this point, but it doesn’t look great. Rumors that Cantwell suffered a hamstring injury in training, nothing official from the club. If he’s fit, I might give him a small edge over Diop who has a few unknowns now that Fabianski is out.

Hi Bruno,
Since I took the WC and went all out attack, I fell 20 positions in my league 🙂
Should i still stick with it or are there improvement areas ?
Just transferred Cresswell for Aurier.
Gunn/Mcgovern
Soyuncu/Tomori/Cresswell/Rico/Kelly
Debryune/Sterling/Salah/Mane/Cantwell
Abraham/Pukki/Brewster
Thanks.

Hi. Team is in decent shape overall. Of course this week is tricky because of the injury concerns, especially KDB, but your formation and the investment in each position makes sense.
Leaning toward sticking as we’re seeing scores going from 75pts to 45pts from week to week.
Hope you can make up those positions quickly! 👊

hi Bruno, with KDB injury i feel he may be out for longer than ppl think. i would play cantwell first on bench but rumors are he might be injured too. got 1 ft so whould you recommend (IF you recommend) switching KDB to
a. Yarmo
b. Mount (got Tammy as well)
c. Mahrez
d. any other viable option that might score in gw8
since i got to a slow start this season for me its all about gettin max points every gw, dont want to think too much about what will happen after IB etc. if you understand what i mean so pls advise

04/10/19
Hi. Guardiola confirmed KDB is out for GW8 but will return after the IB. If you make the move, leaning toward Mount or Mahrez. The only note on Mahrez is whether you can trust him vs. Sterling/KDB in the long-run. Short-term, it could work.

Hi Bruno,
Im a new player this year and I’ve always watch your videos every week its really good and easy to understand for newbie like me.
I’m having a dilemma right now.
My team:
Ryan/button
TAA, Digne, AWB / Lundstram, Kelly
Martial, Lucas Moura, Sterling, KDB / Cantwell
Pukki, Abraham / Greenwood
4.2 mil in thebank and 1 FT
I’m currently want to switch Lucas Moura as he blanked for 4 weeks. Or martial, KDB, And AWB that also injured. Which one is the priority to sent out and who do you think can replace them.
Thankyou in advance.
Upper 90 Studios
04/10/19
Hi. That’s fantastic to hear, wish you good luck this season.
Moura might not be the safest from rotation in the long-run, although it’s possible he could start this weekend. Pochettino hinted at rotation. Not easy because of the timing, but it will become harder to ignore if he’s benched.
Martial is another to consider selling as United have been disappointing in the attack. It also doesn’t help that they continue to lose players through injury.
Mount is a top replacement option. Maddison also worth considering, although he is returning from a knock and faces Liverpool, so you could watch him for another game or two.
If you end up selling AWB in the future, consider Tomori or Soyuncu (difficult GW8).

Hey Bruno. As ever, thank you for the content and for keeping us all going. I am interested in your view on Saka. I didnt see it but by all accounts he bossed the Arsenal Man U game and was rested mid week so it all bodes well for a start against Bournemouth. At 4.5m he is looking like a steal, at least whilst Lackofthreatis out…..

Hey. Need some positive results soon!
Good call on Saka, he is on my Watchlist. A few key players are playing for their place in my team this weekend. If they make it, I might have to make a swap to my cheapest midfielder becaus eI also have Hayden who is suspended.
Certainly one to watch.
