Bruno, appreciate your advice for GW13. Play Soucek Vs Palace or Watkins Vs Burnley? Just missed 9 points benching Soucek by playing Watkins in GW12 🙁

Hi. No problem. That’s frustrating when it happens. Watkins always seems close to scoring a goal, just needs that last bit of composure. Soucek can be a bit more dependent on set pieces, although he is effective in the air.
Both defenses can be stubborn, so it’s not easy. Maybe another gamble on Watkins if you don’t have Grealish? With Grealish, you could spread the risk of a double blank in the attack.
It’s a difficult decision, I want to say I don’t know.

Need your advise for GW13.
My current playing squad (3-5-2):
Martinez
Chilwell / Dier / James
Salah / KDB / Son / Grealish / Bruno
Wilson / Bamford
Bench: Steer / Balbeuna / Taylor / Brewster
In bank: 0.0
Seems to be a strong squad however I’m struggling in my own mini league with my peers.. I’ve never been lucky picking the right captain every week.
Please advise on my squad and tips for Captain alright buddy..

Hi Bruno, hope you are well. Looking for advice on GW13. Green arrows again in GW12 with a 78 score. I like the team I have, averaging 88 pts last 2 weeks. Have a FT and 0 in the bank. The team

Would like your thoughts on my plan. As I like the team, my thoughts were to try to reduce the money held in defense by transfer out Ayling for Douglas, so would get 0.7 in the bank for next GW.
Very hard decision on captain…don’t have a good feel for which way to go yet. IKdB vs W.Brom is a good fixture for Man City? Or Son or Kane vs Liverpool or Salah vs Spurs even though Spurs might park the bus for a low scoring game? I’m thinking KdB then Kane or Son….Would really appreciate your thoughts.

Can see the idea with the last defender to free up funds. I probably took this strategy too far with my own bench this season… 🙂
I agree with all your points. KDB is a top captain pick versus West Brom. What I like about Kane and Son in particular with his pace, is Liverpool play a high defensive line. They’re also struggling with injuries to key defenders. Salah is a little harder to predict, but can still work. As you said, Mourinho can sometimes lock things down defensively.
