Hi Bruno, I hope you and the family are doing well.
1st want to thank you for your last post. You dropping Fernandes for KdB convinced me to do a 3 transfers to get KdB, net result 98 pts…yea
So here’s the team with 1 FT and 0.4 banked
McCarthy (Button)
Chilwell, Justin, Westergaard, (Dallas, Ayling)
Salah, Son, KdB, Mendy (Bissouma)
Kane, Bamford, DCL
So overall happy with the team except for Mendy and 2 LEEDS defenders (basically a lot of 4.5+ defenders locking up funds)
So overall thinking 3 options:
1) do nothing and keep the FTs for next week (Re: option #2 leister has Brighton and W.Ham has LEEDs and W Ham might be overrun in the midfield)
2) Mendy out to Soucek.
3) Start selling down defenders (1 Leeds, prob Ayling and also Justin) for low price defenders and use that to upgrade Mendy to someone with more potential costing a little more.
I like your idea of KdB for Mane, but I personally think the points hit and potential Mane upside is not as valuable vs potential flexibility later in Dec with multiple FTs (but hey I’m the one looking for advice and you have the good looking studio 🙂 )

Hi. Doing well, thanks. WOW 98pts that’s incredible! Glad to hear it worked out.
Any of your options could work. I might say it’s between 2 or 3… maybe start with option 2? You may benefit from that extra starter and Soucek should be a safer option. Ndidi is almost fully-fit and will likely take over for Mendy. Bissouma is on four yellows and loves a tackle.
Ayling will be playing as a centerback which could lower his potential slightly, although a clean sheet is possible with their recent tactics. Dallas is a decent option with his attack threat and at times playing as a midfielder.
You could be right… I’m not sure if my other transfer plan has the same pop as last week. My biggest question is which United side will turn up. If they’re not up for it, I may regret not having KDB.

did n early move (FT) from Vardy to Bam as part of two step move to get Salah in place of Mahrez for hit and kinda regret it already, as Salah played 100 min in UCL and there are dobts about his play time in PL vs FUL cause he most definitely will play vs TOT three days after. So Qs are:
1. Would you advise to still make that move Mahrez to Mo for a hit and pray that he plays 60+?
2. Move Mahrez to KDB instead who can easily haul agaisnt that dreadfull MU defence and to have a viable C option in gw 13?
3. Keep as is and Captain Son or Kane (which)?
4. Play Coufal or Lamps in defense?

Hi. Thanks! Not sure what Klopp was thinking playing Salah when they already won the group. As I understand, there’s a nice payout for a win in UCL, so that might’ve played a part.
1. Whether Salah starts or comes off the bench is harder to tell now, but I would give him a decent chance of scoring in either scenario. Even 30min could be enough for a goal, although I’m counting on more as he’s my captain at the moment.
2. Mahrez also started midweek, KDB fully-rested. If Salah starts, I might give him the edge over KDB. If Salah comes off the bench, then it’s closer, so it might depend on your future team structure. As you said, KDB plays WBA GW13.
3. Leaning toward Kane (c) if you do nothing.
4. Coufal is a better option when he has Antonio as a target. Don’t know if Antonio is ready yet, need to check on that… Lamptey let me down this past game. He looks promising with his forward runs, but needs to tighten up the final pass. Super close between the two, stumped on this one.
The big decision is Salah vs. KDB. Which plan are you feeling? 🙂 It became harder to rationalize a move for Salah after 100min midweek. There are unknowns if taking a chance on him, although it might still work.
You can justify KDB easily. He’s a safer option than Mahrez, could haul against United if they don’t turn up, and starts a good run of fixtures with WBA GW13.
This is one of the most difficult decisions I’ve seen this season. Picking between premium players is a nightmare, and I haven’t fully ruled out dropping KDB for Mane for one game. My Plan A has Salah (c) relying on a strong return from Mo.
Those are the thoughts for now. -Bruno

Do you think its worth it transferring out Vardy for Kane for GW12 on a free transfer?
Your thoughts on Salah starting GW12…..I assume you likely to captain him?.

Hi. Thanks! That’s a tricky one. I might rate Vardy and Kane with similar scoring potential this week, but it’s always difficult with premium players.
Now that Jota is a doubt, I would suspect it increases Salah’s chances of starting. He is my captain at the moment. There’s just over an hour before deadline and I still have to figure this out… 🙂

Hi. Thanks! Your team is excellent overall. I agree with you in picking out Semedo. He is on your bench and not necessarily a priority this week, but you may need to dig into the bench through the busy December fixtures.
I have a major issue with my bench and won’t be able to ignore it for much longer.

Great score last week – its really an inspiration to see you preserve through the setbacks! Having the risks of Maddison, Richarlison, and Martial did not pan well for me, so its Wildcard time! First draft is as follows:
GK: Ryan (Miazek)
DEF: Chilwell, James, Targett, (Lewis) (Douglas)
MID: Mane, KDB, Son, Grealish (Bissouma)
FWD: Kane, Wilson, Bamford
1. GK: Ryan is the only one that allows me to add Mane and retain the core of my team. Do you see cuts in other necessary to go with a higher-ceiling option like Darlow or Martinez?
2. DEF: Double Chelsea is still the backbone. In light of the difficult CHE fixtures approaching, is it justifiable to drop Chilwell to someone like Regulion or a City defender ? Hard to choose as Chilwell is really a two-way player, as is Reece James. Hard to find better replacement at 5.1 though, so might stick with him.
3. MID: The big question mark yet. Am still with Mane and Son now, but going to Auba and Mahrez will leave me some funds to strenghten the bench and GK units. Also, Sterling to KDB looks appealing. What are you thoughts on that?
4. FWD: Pretty much set in stone, feel that i cannot find better value. I have Ings on my watchlist, but feel that the current options are comparable and much cheaper.
5. Bench: With the festive period and imminent rotation, should I place more emphasis on higher-scoring bench players like Lookman / Soucek instead of Bissouma. Also, I have a Douglas, which leaves me with a max of 2 substitutes – is the price of 0.5 justifiable to pay for a third reserve?
Will Captain Mane or Auba this GW for sure, with Mane being preferred.
Appreciate your feedback on the WC and wish you a lot of points this GW.

1. Mane yes, and I might also allow flexibility to swap him for Salah in the future if needed. Not easy to make a cut, possibly one of the Chelsea defenders? I might give a small edge to Chilwell, but it’s super close.
2. That’s the main decision remaining. You could consider Reguilon. For a budget option, I might also suggest Dallas.
3. Liking your team core with the current players, players I’ve been able to trust. One approach could be to take it game by game through December making adjustments as needed.

Hi. I don’t see an easy way to bump up the two players without a cut to another position. The problem is that cut because your starters are set for this week.
Replacements to keep an eye on and work with for future plans are Soucek and Pedro Neto.
It would also be reasonable to keep it as is for another round so you have a better idea for next week. Not an easy one, sorry!

Hi Bruno, hope you had a good gw, 65 pts (-4), 6th green gw in a row for me but not radical growth in OR. would ve had +5 points if just kept Vardy and Mahrez but again moves I made were for a long term.
Current Team:

Salah, Bruno, Grealish, Son/Biss
Kane, DCL, Bam
1FT, 0,6 itb
Options:
1. Having small doubts about Cancelo playing, so switch him to Vestegaard/Taylor/Shaw for free? if yes for who
2. Salah to KDB for free? I just got Mo in last gw so no value tied and i do fancy KDB scoring vs WB
3. If I make that move above who for the armband Bruno or KDB ?
4. Save FT, and play Lamps or Coufal in starting XI?

1. If you make the move, leaning toward Taylor. Maybe Vestergaard, although his next few fixtures are tricky. Wish Shaw was better with injuries, that’s the main risk.
2. KDB is facing West Brom, Salah is up against a stronger Spurs defense. Can see this plan working well, but you know the risk. I’m set to do something similar this round… just finishing up a blog post for GW13.
3. Will reveal it in just a bit. 🙂
4. Also an option. Your call on the move with the premiums because of the risk.

Oh my. that is a nightmare decision. Vardy, Fernandes and KDB can all do well. I’m completely stumped on this decision.
I don’t have Fernandes who’s a priority for my team GW13. I already have KDB, no Vardy. Sheffield United are a mess, probably one of the worst performances I’ve seen this season against Southampton. Not sure if they had any shot attempts, they allowed at least 15 shots and it could’ve gotten ugly had Ings taken his chances.
Need more time to think because it’s one of those decisions. 🤔
