Hi Bruno, glad you went up in OR past gw and hope you nail that 10k mark by/after Christmas:) i ve been around as you know But gettin rid of Bruno If got your transfers right could be genius or backfire, my 2 cents of advise 🙂

my current team:
Martinez*/Steer*
Lamps, Cancelo*, James, Coufal, Dunne*
Bruno, Son, Grealish*, Ziyech, Bissouma
Kane, Vardy, DCL

I can basically and hope i can field 10/11 players excpt gk so with:

1ft, 0,6 itb

options are:

a. Steer to Johnstone/Meslier for free
b. Ziyech to Jota or Mahrez for free
c. Save ft and play 10 players
d. any other suggestions you may have, willing to take hits

thing is i do incline to keep AVL assets with future dgws in mind but open to any suggestions you may have.

Cap:
a. Vardy
b. Bruno
c. Kane
d. any other if i tanagers are made

  It could be a tricky one for my team after dropping Bruno. Nearly all the strong FPL managers in the Elite64 league have him…
  
  Transfers. All good options. Without KDB, Option B could work well with Mahrez. But it depends on your assessment of Ziyech. It could help to accept that Mahrez might not be the safest in the long-run, but strong as a short-term gamble.
  
  Same here, keeping Grealish in my case.
  
  Vardy is a top captain pick, Bruno also in the mix with his away record. Kane a little behind with a possible knock, would hate for my captain to not be 100%. If you make a transfer, Mahrez could be a differential.

you doing great this season good job !!! . for gw10 i hand an underwhelming 49 – vardy(c)vs fulham didnt go as expected !

I currently have no City and i dont own Fernandes.
Also grealish and martinez like many people I also have this problem to deal with.

What move(s) should i make ….

– no move?
– for free- Grealish to Mahrez, Ayling to Cancelo, Martinez to jonstone, hmm maybe vardy to jesus/werner, mane to kdb
– for a hit , Vardy and bissouma to KDB and bamford.

*****who to captain ?? if i bring in kdb i will capt him if bring mahrez should i cap him ? and if i domnt sign anyone who should i put the armband on

  Ola. Thanks! Fulham worked hard against Leicester and nearly ran out of steam at the end.
  
  Cancelo is a good option if he starts, but he could be a rotation risk now that Mendy returned with two strong performances.
  
  Grealish to Mahrez provides cover for KDB. Although you’d have to weigh the option of keeping Grealish for next week and his future Double Gameweeks. Might rate Vardy and Jesus with similar scoring potential, up to you if you think it’s worth a transfer.
  
  So difficult to swap premium players because we can see a big swing in points (Mane vs. KDB). If you drop Mane, it helps that you have Liverpool attack cover in Jota.
  
  The timing might not be the best to drop Vardy, but I also understand going for KDB. He could’ve easily doubled his score last week hitting the post in added time. I dropped Fernandes for KDB, but it’s difficult to suggest these types of transfers for others because of the risk.
  
  I might say it’s between a gamble on Mahrez with a plan for getting Grealish back quickly, a move for KDB (don’t know the best way, sorry), or going with your current team.
  
  Those are some thoughts for now to hopefully get you closer. Thanks for the great comment and good luck!

Cant wait to see your studio tour sometime soon!
Well done on your strategy so far.
My strategy has also gradually been tweaked, after a disastrous start and 3.4m OR a few weeks ago, I have chipped away with green arrows with a measured but attacking team to 1.5m OR.
Last week, I banked a transfer, so this week I have 2 free.

My team.is as follows:

Martinez, (Foster)
Chillwell, James, Lamptey, ( Kilman), (Dunne)
Salah, Fernandes, Ziyech, Jota,( Grealish)
Vardy, DCL, Bamford.

After working out various permutations, I decided not to take a hit, use the 2 free transfers and play GW11 potentially without a goalkeeper.

My transfer options are:

Option 1*- Ziyech and DCL to De Bruyne and Welbeck
This option leaves 0.7m in bank with option to do Vardy to Kane for a -4 hit…if this option, would you suggest to do the Kane transfer for GW11 or another week ?

or
Option 2 – Ziyech and DCL to Mahrez and Jesus

Which of the above 2 options would you suggest or any other views?

  Hi. Doing well, thanks. Impressive climb up the ranks.
  
  Option 1. Liking the idea with De Bruyne. Welbeck is a little harder to assess as he hasn’t had too many games without suffering an injury setback in recent seasons, but it could work if he stays fit.
  
  Option 2. Risky move to drop DCL with his ownership, but Mahrez is also a top pick and Aguero is still out.
  
  Not sure which of the two to pick, but I would say that KDB and Mahrez are top transfers, so you might not go wrong with either option. De Bruyne and Vardy would be top captain picks, Mahrez a gamble with a high payoff if it comes off.

Hey Bruno,

Would you pick James or Zouma if you Chiwell, Dias and Dallas?

WC team looking like this atm:

McCarthy (Forster)
Zouma, Chiwell, Dias, Dallas (Douglas)
Salah, Jota, KDB, Mahrez and Bruno
DCL, Bamford (Brewster).

Tried to double up with Chelsea defense with Mendy but funds wouldnt allow it, so this is what it is looking like.

James is a bit cheaper and seems likely to get an attacking return but Zouma seems more nailed on. James also frees up some funds if I need to tinker elsewhere. I am hoping I won’t need to make much changes until GW 16 (aiming to get kane/son) back but it’s still quite a few weeks out.

Thoughts?

  Hey. Leaning toward James for possible attack returns, but I can see the reasoning with Zouma as well. Trust your instinct on this one because it’s close.

Guess I am going to give them one more game to see how it goes… Any plans to ship DCL? fixtures aren’t great… if so who would u go for? Watkins/Antonio? Tempted with the bonus magnet Ings but need to downgrade mid to do so….
  
  Stuck with Zouma, that Chelsea game was rollercoaster of emotions for me! First Bamford scored, wiping both my clean sheets (chilwell and zouma), then James got an assist… and Zouma goes and score yet another goal!!
  
  For GW 12, thinking of banking the transfer…

  I never expected that from Mahrez and Jota. They were smart picks that just happened to not work this time.
  
  DCL has surprised me by scoring even without Digne. Top scorer in the league, scored against Tottenham, Liverpool and other stubborn defenses like Palace. I’m most likely keeping him as he’s earned a place on my team, but things change quickly. I have other thoughts on DCL and other strikers on the new GW12 video, including Ings who’s probably the standout from your list: https://youtu.be/dpXkBEfBqJE
  
  Between Dias and Dallas, it’s super close. Maybe the smallest edge to Dallas? West Ham have been shaky defensively in recent games. Trust your instinct on this one! Good luck. 👍

iv been commenting here already,in the end i went for Salah to KDB swap instead of taking hit and doing Bruno to KDB.I rly dont know how do you sense those things.Great job once again from u 🙂
Anyway iv been thinking to do that Bruno to Salah swap with -4 hit now (i have to react quckly if he gets price rise im screwed).Should i do it or just stick with Bruno for now ?(after City game he has some nice fixtures ) So maybe even swap Salah again later for Bruno? Sorry if i made it confusing

  That’s a nightmare decision because they are both high ceiling players. Salah is close to a price rise and Fulham is a favorable fixture. I have some research to do before assessing player potential GW12, so it’s hard to point you in a set direction without all the info.
  
  There is one factor I can add. Liverpool won their group in the Champions League while United have to get a result away in Germany. I would assume Bruno will play midweek, Salah and their key players have a good chance of being rested. City also won their group and should rotate heavily.

  It’s a terrible feeling. After some time feeling bad about it, which I do as well, I realize it was the best calculated decision I could think of at the time.
  
  I eventually accept it as an experiment, an experience. Next time I might try something different, or try it again to see if it was just bad luck.
  
  If a team is in danger of being 5-6 players short, as yours was, it makes sense to use a chip to field 11 with a high scoring potential.
  
  Just checked your team and you could’ve played Zouma. The timing for him to score big points didn’t help, but I probably wouldn’t have played him on a Free Hit. Cancelo was a rotation risk with Mendy, Pep played him and Mendy! I didn’t expect it either.
  
  Don’t know who you captained. That also resulted in a big points swing. Plus Mahrez or Jota… there were a few smart calculated picks that blanked while other key players scored.
  
  I can share one of my low points in FPL and how I dealt with it. 3-4 years ago, I used the Wildcard to get Salah, Mané and Firmino after their strong start. Next game, I captained Mané… red card in the first half (-4 points) Liverpool out of the game. Salah subbed at halftime, Firmino didn’t make it to 60min. The next game, I captained Lukaku, he missed a penalty (0pts). The damage took time to recover mentally and in FPL to make up ground. I still think about it! I ended up having a disappointing season (300k vs. my target of 100k).
  
  I was so stunned at the time that it was less about fighting back straight away, and more about just continuing. Then eventually I got my mojo back.
  
  Feel bad about it, think of it as an experiment (not so great result) and continue to plug away at it. Then you’ll get the strength to take chances and go for it again.
