Hey Bruno! Good to see you absolutely smashing this season. Long may it continue.
With Man City and Mahrez looking hot again and Newcastle’s match postponed I’m in a fix.
My Initial plan was to bring in Kdb and Brewster for Ziyech and Jimenez (-4). But I could swap Ziyech to Mahrez instead for free this week and swap out Jimenez to Wilson in the future as Newcastle may have a double gameweek in the near future! I know Mahrez hasn’t looked great at all and has only returned points in 2 out of the 7 games in which he started. But what’s even more surprising that Pep started Mahrez in 7 of City’s 9 PL games even when he was one of the worst players on the pitch for most of those matches. I know going for a cheaper alternative is always a risk and Mahrez has a history of trolling me in the past. So it really worth to make the move?

Hey Thanks! It’s possible that you could score big points with either transfer plan.
KDB and Mahrez are excellent picks this week, so it depends on the team you’d like to build. If you plan more short-term, Mahrez is a top option with his high ceiling. If you want a set and forget long-term option, KDB is perfect.
It’s difficult to say who will score more points in the next 1-3 games between the two City players, but it feels like you’re edging toward Mahrez. The extra funds could also work in your plan for Jimenez, so trust your instinct but have a backup plan just in case.

Don’t know what to do . O think O Have to play the free hit . Have triple Villa 1 Newcastle , a Keeper bench fodder and Oli Burke 🤦♂️

Olá thanks. Oh my! No sugarcoating it, that’s a nightmare. If you want to exchange any thoughts on players and transfers let me know.
The Free Hit could be an option in your case. There are some enticing fixtures GW11, but you can also create a few transfer plans with reasonable hits… -4 maybe -8 to see if you can save the chip for a Double Gameweek.

That makes it trickier. You could potentially be without 5-6 players.

WatkinsVardyOn a -4 hit, I’m not seeing a straightforward solution other than the Wildcard which you may not have, or Free Hit.
Even if Robertson and Cancelo were 100% guaranteed to start, you might want to keep at least Martinez and Grealish as they have favorable fixtures and Double Gameweeks to come (don’t know when).

Exactly that’s why I think FH os a good play . I don’t Have the Wildcard . My Downfall Started when I took the first hit : Digne (suspended supposly 3games) to Robertson (against Sheffield)
Now I took out Robertson for Taylor . And James Rodríguez for KDB (-4)
I no longer Have Robbo , is Justin . It was my mistake writting gere .
I Will probably play my FH .
I don’t want get rid of Grealish ir Martinez or even Watkins (rate him alot)

I was planning on keeping Grealish this week even if his game was called off, which it turned out to be. But I thought that might’ve been the worst case scenario, didn’t really think it would happen, then it got weirder with Kane being a doubt.
I’m waiting until closer to deadline before doing anything else. Hopefully I can escape with just Grealish out.

Hi. Yes, noticed the news today that Pereira could be back Thursday.
Sterling is frustrating because of his high ceiling when he starts. I might prefer Salah for the long-run, then it’s up to you with the striker. I’m most likely rolling the dice and keeping Kane vs. Arsenal, but Vardy is a top pick. Jesus can also work as City seem to back to scoring goals.

I still have 1 free transfer.My plan is to transfer Salah for KDB since im to scared to watch that game vs Fulham without having him,i cant help it.That will mean i have Grealish as an non playing player this GW and no one to replace him from the bench.
Also at the other end Salah is playing against Fulham next GW so i will probably have to get him back somehow.
Second plan is to take -4 hit and transfer out Coady for 4.5m defender to afford Bruno(who i just transfered in last GW and he played rly well and pretty much saved my entire GW) to KDB move and keep Salah.
I really dont know what to do i have been overthinking this for a past couple of hours

I was also scared of KDB and I think that’s my instinct saying to bring him in. 😅
Your plans are exactly what I had in mind for my team. I can only speak for my strategy which was to sell one of the most in-form players who has yet to blank in away matches, Bruno. This allowed me to keep Salah, but I used 2FTs. You’re taking a hit which is not that big of an issue. Just pointing out the differences.
It’s completely your call because I’m afraid to suggest selling Bruno, then he scores big while Salah blanks. It’s possible that all three players could score GW11: KDB, Bruno and Salah.
KDB (and Salah) play in teams that feel a bit more likely to deliver consistent attacking returns. United can sometimes be harder to assess which is a factor.
It’s up to you for your team because anything can happen when swapping premium players! 🙂
That’s why I’m approaching this week like I said on the video. Let’s see what happens when I drop the most in-form player, but it’s actually a bit more thought out than it sounds, because it allows me to keep big hitters like Son, Kane, Salah, plus KDB…

Happy to hear about your great score and OR boost!! I also had a very good week with 73 (-4) points and moved from 330k to 160k so very happy with that. Thank you always for your great advice and feedback. I did Bowen to Jota, which didn’t worked out that great considering bowen outscored Jota and son to kdb for a hit because i needed a good captain. Below is my current team. Inclining towards playing with 10 men instead of using a transfer on a goalkeeper.

Chilwell, James, KWP (Dallas, Fodder)
KDB, Sterling, Rashford, Jota (Grealish)
Kane, DCL, Brewster
1) Sterling —> Bruno. It’s been so frustrating owning sterling since he doesn’t seem to get lot of minutes in the league. Might use this as an opportunity to bring Bruno.
2) Sterling —> Bruno,
Rashford —> Mahrez for -4
Rahhford doesn’t seem 100% and considering United have a very important game next week in UCL, could see Ole benching Rashford this week. What do you think?
3) Rashford —> Mahrez for above reason and rock triple city and risk it with sterling 😎
4) Do nothing and roll the transfer.

Ola. Thanks! Wow, 330 to 160k is fantastic, well done. Like you last week, a move for a strong captain factored in my transfer plan this week.
All decent options. You know the risks when swapping premium players, but maybe it could work to make a move or two to reduce the risk of being short even more players.
Leaning toward Option 2 for the reasons you mentioned. I don’t know if Rashford is struggling with a shoulder problem, subbed off midweek.

Without knowing what Lampard could do between Abraham, Giroud, Werner, it’s difficult. For my team, even if I had a free transfer, I might wait because of the rotation risk, but if you have a strong squad overall, it could work.
Hard to say yes or no because he has potential to score if he plays. Your call on this one!
