***UPDATE: This is it. I’m experimenting with a new Wildcard strategy – to keep a sizeable amount of money in the bank. Normally, I would maximize the squad strength by using all the funds. If everything goes well, I can improve the squad depth or make small corrections. If it goes wrong, I can use the money to counter Wildcards GW4. I do not recomment this “all-star” bench for anyone. 🙂 It’s a massive risk GW3. If Digne is out, I could be down a player. Trying something new, good luck everyone!!!

*Provisional GW3 Wildcard team. Waiting on the last press conferences before confirming these players. Salah returns to the squad in place of KDB. Maguire and Martial also come in.
*The questions about the bench… sorry about that! 🙂 I don’t have one, I’m going with the cheapest bench players. This frees up the maximum ITB funds to match up against Wildcards GW4. Super risky, never really tried this before on an early Wildcard. Digne might not even play which could leave me a player short GW3.
*I am keeping an eye on price changes here: http://fplstatistics.com/ I may swap out some of the players in my team temporarily by staying up-to-date on the price changes. For example, I’ve brought in KDB for Salah, but I will likely have Salah in my team by deadline.
*Lucas Digne looks to be back in training.
*We also need an update on Lucas Digne who was forced off with a hamstring injury.

One Defender that’s really standing out for me currently is Emerson of Chelsea.
He was the furthest player up the left hand side against United. He is also a defensively solid player. Chelsea fixtures are also pretty good for cleansheet potential. He is pretty much a lucas digne player but with better underlying stats and a superior team.
This vid convinced me enough to bring him into my squad under wildcard.

Yes, I’ve been hearing about him, but I don’t have the best assessment of Chelsea just yet. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and advice.
Of course now that press conferences are in, I would note that Kante could miss out with injury, possibly Rudiger also? But your point still stands with attacking returns for Emerson. 👍

I’m not ready to cut ties with Salah. Arsenal at home should be an exciting game.
Option 1. Liking this, not sure about King vs. A stronger defense with Digne or AWB.
Option 2. Small concern over the two weaker forwards. Firmino is good.
Option 3. Good one. Not sure about Moura not that Son and Alli could be back. Although if he starts, he could do well.
Option 4. Good one as well with Kane.
I don’t have a preference. They can all work. What I would add is to consider going with Pukki up top as a lone striker (or with Kane/Firmino), then possibly invest the money to tighten up the players I mentioned.
But that’s up to you, because your ideas are strong. 👍

Hi. Leaning toward Team 2 with a stronger defense and Kane. The only other idea would be a mix of both with another premium mid instead of Kane. But we know what Kane can do!
