*I initially had Kelly as a starter, but Lampard said Rudiger and Kante are still out injured, so I’ve brought in Lundstram for his attacking potential. Nearly set with the final team. Final decision is the replacement for Martial. Currently between Maddison and McGinn, but I want to use all the time before deciding.
*Waiting for official news on Martial before proceeding. It appears that Mason Mount is in training without complications. Chelsea released this video today with Mount in the background:

Hey Bruno,
I emailed you last week about my wildcard team. I did get 66 points which is not too bad. I do run into an issue this week. I have both mount and martial. It looks like mount will likely play but martial is injured. I already used my free transfer to get PVA. Should i take the hit and replace martial or just wait it out and take a 0. Thanks in advance

Hey. Hopefully I replied to your email! I sometimes embelish numbers on the videos joking around, but I actually had 789 emails to go through. I took a screenshot to show my family. 🙂
I updated the blog post at the top with info on Mount. Seems he is back in training, pictured in the background of the video Chelsea from today.
No official info on Martial yet. Refereeing decisions went against him last week, he deserved to score more points. Assuming he’s fit, selling Martial could be risky. He has high ownership with strong FPL managers.
I would suggest waiting until we have more news. Many players are in action today in the Carabao cup. Leicester and Everton for example put out really strong teams.
I would feel more confident with official information on his injury. 👍

Hey Bruno,
If your purchase price (pp) was 5.5 for ceballos. Wouldnt it be better to wait before selling? He is about to rise again and will be 5.7 tonight or probably by tomorrow night.
Whats your take on this?

Hey. It depends. It would be great to make a full profit on Ceballos, but then Mount is also rising and will cost more money. If both end up on a full 0.2 rise, I’d rather invest in the player I want long-term.

Hi. Thanks! That’s a difficult question. I prefer Salah over Mane and Firmino, but for GW4, they’re all close. The -4 makes it even harder to justify.
I would say if Salah starts to leave them behind, then there’s less doubt with the decision.
No easy solution to this one, sorry.

You have pretty good analysis! I’m currently top of my mini league of 20 teams. There is a prize pot…Most of the league have Salah. I used my wildcard last weekend. My OR is 157k

Gk -Ryan
Defenders- Wan Bisaka Dinge TAA Lindstrom and Kelly
Midfield- Mane KDB Sterling Mount and Cantwell
Fowards- Pukki Rashford and Wickham
And My team value is 101.5. So I have 1.5 million in bank.
Advice take a small 4 hit and get Salah back cause I already made a transfer…take a 8 hit and get Aguero and lose Dinge. Lol could take a 16 hit and have both Salah and Aguero…but maybe I’m over thinking and should stay put 🤣🤣🤣😔

Thank you. I don’t recommend selling Digne, he is arguably the best defender in the FPL. Scored a goal and assist midweek in the League Cup.
I’ve never taken a -16 hit, so that one is up to you.
No easy solution for Mane vs. Salah this week, especially if it requires a hit. I can imagine both can do well GW4, but it’s hard to predict which one.
I might keep a close eye on Rashford in case Man United struggle even more in the attack without Martial.

Hey. Liking the idea. Since I posted my Watchlist, I’ve reconsidered Pieters. Not sure if he’s 100% nailed-on, so look into Lowton as well.
Defense feels light, but I can understand your reasoning with that attack! Hard to select defenders at this moment.
Aguero is a top pick GW4, but keep an eye on Pep rotation roulette once Gabriel Jesus returns after the international break.
Just the 1-2 minor notes, nothing serious. Strong team. 👍

I, like you was not happy with Bournemouth attackers and Perez and needed to get KDB in so played my wildcard last week.
I was bold and decided to switch salah for mane and then drafted in kane. (Talk about backfired!)
here is my team:
Ryan (Button)
Wan-Bissaka, Laporte, Digne (Lundstram, Kelly)
Sterling, KDB, Mcginn, Mane, Cantwell
Pukki, Kane (Wickham)
Would you swap back salah for mane?
I am also thinking about taking a 4 point hit and swapping Kane for firmino.

Yes, it was a rough week for Mane and Kane owners. That might not happen again for some time, but the timing with the Wildcard doesn’t help.
Defense is set. The rest of the team should be ready as well. The problem is the timing to sell Mane for Salah. I don’t know which of the two will score more points GW4. I would only say that I prefer Salah over Mane long-term, and either of the two Liverpool premiums over Kane because Liverpool’s attack is more consistent.
But for GW4 with a hit? I don’t have an easy solution to this one I’m afraid.
