Hi. Completely stuck on the goalkeeper! Just checked our fixture cheatsheet and it was of no help either. Ryan and Henderson face opponents with similar strength GW15. It might’ve been easier to choose Henderson until Norwich started scoring again, and of course the 2-0 defeat for Sheffield United yesterday. I’m ok to start him, but have no alternative.
Leaning toward Option 1 with Jimenez who was unlucky not to score GW15. I missed his exact stats, but they were similar to Abraham minus the returns… 🙂
Strong team overall. Thanks! 👍

Hi Bruno, i need advice for my team:
1) Henderson
TAA, Soy, Lundstram(Rico, Pieters)
Zaha ,Mane, KDB, Pulisic(Guendouzi)
Ings, Jimenez, Vardy
Transfer :
KDB/Pulisic to Son/Alli

Hi. Nothing required to change. In the end, I’ve been taking risks recently and if forced to pick between the two options, I would continue to gamble on Son/Alli. Their fixtures are excellent through December.
Both options could end up with similar points, no significant advantage at this moment. Up to you. 👍

Hi Bruno,
ITs been a good season so far. Overall rank at 214k, but im starting to tail off. Could use your thoughts on transfers this week. (if any).
Pope, McGovern
TAA, Soyuncu, Lundstram, Kelly, Rico
Mane, Sterling, Pulisic, Zaha, Martial
Vardy, Jimenez, Connolly
.5 in the bank.
Last week I brought in Zaha for Mount as CP fixtures are taking a turn and hes looked dangerous and needs to impress if he wants to move on to Chelsea or another top side.
I have 1 free transfer. Martial with an injury needs to be moved.
3 options
1. Direct swap for Martial : Madison, Richarlison, or Silva.
2. Take a -4 hit. Martial/Connolly out. Abraham/cheap mid in. OR Martial/Sterling out. Alli/KDB in.
3. Do nothing and play kelly this week. Do a double swap next gameweek.
Thoughts?!!?

Hi. Glad to hear that, near 200k is a good achievement at this stage.
Zaha has been rumored to change clubs. He could have extra motivation and was unlucky with the red card GW15.
I might consider shifting away from the risk with Martial, so it’s between Options 1+2.
Hard to suggest selling premium players like Sterling because we know what they can do. I chose to spread out the risk over more players like Maddison and Alli instead of putting the pressure on Sterling or Salah, but that was for my team.
Direct swap, I might take a chance on Maddison while Leicester are hot. His numbers are always positive with set pieces, and Leicester have a high scoring ceiling with their attack. Richarlison is a great player, but Everton are a little harder to trust. Could work as a gamble if we see a new manager bounce. Silva may not be 100% nailed-on during December, so I may not choose him for my side. But I also wouldn’t be happy to face off against another team with Silva because when he starts, he’s a key player involved in their goals.
Alli/KDB feels strong. Martial to x is straightforward and clean without the hit. Stuck on that final decision!

Hi Bruno,
I’ve already used my transfer to bring in Moutinho for Martial so I thinking of either taking a (-4) hit to get Soyuncu for Hanley if Chilwell is benched or get Guaita for Button because Pope is facing Man city!
Which one should I do or not doing both both of them?

Hi. The timing is a little tricky for double Leicester defenders as their fixtures are red GW18-GW19. with enough free transfers and no other fires to put out, this idea can work in the short-term.
Guaita is a good option if you have the funds and can work in a rotation system.
Leaning toward Guaita for Crystal Palace defensive cover, but it’s close. Up to you. 👍
EDIT: Keeping it as is while avoiding a transfer hit could be the best option. I missed that it required a -4 hit.

Hi Bruno
Quick thoughts about who to captain this week……….
Vardy is nailed to start, but will Mane be rested?
Mane or Vardy???

Hi. Wish we knew if Mané was starting. The midweek Champions League game is another factor. Liverpool haven’t qualified yet.
Leaning toward a safer choice in Vardy. Then again, no one is really safe from rotation now.

Hi Bruno,
Great to hear that your team is performing well. Despite all the setbacks at the beginning of the season, seems like you are set for a really strong finish. Below is my current team for GW16. I already used a free transfer to bring Rashford in place of Laca.
Pope
TAA, Soy, Lundy
Mane, KDB, Zaha, Martial,
Vardy, Abraham, Rashford
Subs: Button, Tomori, Rico, Lansbury
I really wanted to get Alli for martial but 0.4 short of it. I would have to downgrade tomori to kelly to fund that move but that would be -8. Don’t think that will be worth it. Ole said that Martial will play some minutes against city. Do you reckon i should bench him for Tomori or play him?
I was also really tempted to bring salah for mane and captain him considering mane might get benched and salah will be roaring to go with a rest. Crazy idea? Lol
Thanks

Hi. It’s been a difficult start, nothing was working. I was in the multi-millionaire’s club for some time.
I would probably set the team the way you did, with Martial as a starter.
My concern with Salah is he has been subbed off early and left out recently. Whether that is due a serious issue with his ankle, I wouldn’t know. I understand Klopp said he was getting fluid to his ankle, they removed it, and it returned. Of course, if Salah starts and Mane is rested, it’s a major boost for those who gamble on your idea. Your call on this one!

Hi Bruno,
Need your advice who should start between these 3 defenders and who get the higher preference at the bench between the other two.?
1) Kelly
2) Lundstram
3) Soy
Thanks

Hi. Leaning toward 3) Soy as a starter, then a tie between Lundstram and Kelly.

Hi Bruno
Red arrows last two GWs but still at 110K. Looking to turn form around.
My team as below. Considering a swap of Mane to Salah for the Bournemouth game, given Salah nice and rested and good record against Cherries. If I brought him in, I may Captain – though moving away from Vardy feels a risk. Plus I see Harry Wilson can;t play against parent club, so Bournemouth weakened a bit more. Would be keeping just one Liverpool player, which will help with the blank week coming up soon. Thoughts on line-up below? Giving Kane one more week to get something, after 2 blanks since bringing him in. Alternative plan I could do no transfers – but am excited re Salah.
Cheers
Davina
Henderson (Ryan)
Kelly, Lundstram, Pereira (Aurier, Reid)
KDB, Mane(VC), Tielemans, Pulisic (Dendoncker)
Vardy (C) Kane, Jiminez

Hi. Team is well set as is, no concerns. You mentioned the top notes to keep in mind, I agree. Kane has to deliver now, no excuses.
Without knowing the full situation with Salah’s ankle problem, it’s hard to make a suggestion. I don’t have a solution for this one, it’s too difficult to predict what Klopp will do, and Liverpool have an important midweek Champions League game.
Wish you big green arrows. 👍
