Hi Bruno!
Congrats on the huge points haul! Am thinking of strengthening my backline as well. It’s a tough choice between shipping out Maguire or Digne.
Digne has had poor returns for the last few games and they are facing a strong City side next.
Maguire on the otherhand is in an underperforming Utd team. And this Utd team doesn’t seem to be capable of keeping clean sheets.
I’ve read several comments on reddit that it might now be time to ship out Digne. However I am having second thoughts between the two. Digne though having performed poorly in the last few games (the bulk of his points are in the first few GWs), has a high attacking potential. He is in charge of crosses as well if I’m not wrong.
Maguire on the other hand needs clean sheets for potential bonus points. I don’t see him getting on the end of crosses and set pieces because of the poor delivery of Utd attackers.
I agree on bringing Otamendi in though. That City side is just scary with the amount of talent in it. Your thoughts?

Hi, Thanks! Finally. Agree with you, not much between Maguire and Digne. Not happy with their individual and team potential, fixtures don’t help. In Digne’s case, you’re right, he is on set pieces which increases his threat for an attacking return.
To be fair, Maguire came close to scoring GW6. I believe it was a corner, he was about 6 yards out and hit it straight at the keeper. Still, it’s hard to be patient after that United performance, struggling to find any positives.
Leaning toward dropping Maguire first because of Digne’s higher points ceiling, all it takes is one set piece.

Hey Bruno!
Love the video and congrats on the green arrows this week. I am kind lost with what to transfer and if I should take point hits. I am losing ground against aguero and kdb owners the past couple weeks. Do I take out mane for a son or aguero or auba, ryan to pope/kepa? I am kind of lost right now and I hope you can help me out. Appreciate all your hard work and keep the videos coming.

Hey! Thanks! 👍 It’s difficult for me to suggest selling a premium player like Sterling or Mane because they have a high points ceiling.
Ryan vs. Pope might not be a priority just yet. Brighton have been solid this season, of course upcoming fixtures are the negative.
De Bruyne with Aguero is a deadly combo, I prefer it over Sterling/Mane if forced to choose at this very moment. But you know the risks when swapping premium players, especially Sterling who has 95% ownership with strong FPL managers.
KDB also has high ownership, Aguero has low ownership stats with the experts and is a bigger gamble, a differential against the #Elite64 league.
Your team is in good shape overall. I might look into KDB before anything, but the final decision is yours because of the risks involved.

Hey Bruno,
Congratulations to you. Nice lineup for GW7.
I got 61pts with this lineup
Ryan,
TAA, Digne, AWB, Rico,
KDB, McGinn, Ceballos, Mane (C),
Pukki, Barnes,
(Button, Wickham, Sterling, Lundstram)
I think i got i lucky with the points haha.
But now into GW7 with 2 Free Transfers,
Do you think its a very good idea to transfer out Ceballos for Mount?
Barnes out for Abraham or Wilson or should Barnes stay?

25/09/19
Hey, thank you. 👍 Solid score, congrats.
Leaning toward Mount over Ceballos. Lampard seems to love Mount and pushed for him to start against Liverpool despite the injury.
I haven’t really been watching Ceballos since I sold him, so I can’t give a proper assessment. But I can speak for Mount and Chelsea. Mount could’ve easily scored 10pts against Liverpool. He deserved a goal and an assist, possibly bonus because of his good delivery from corners, and threat, always running at defenders. He was unlucky.
Close between the forwards. I still haven’t watched or researched the Burnley game, can’t assess Barnes properly. If forced to choose between the three, it could be between Wilson and Abraham. Wilson is someone I trust in FPL, Abraham is young and might still put in inconsistent performances, but he can score well in this form. It helps that Chelsea are so attack-minded under Lampard.

Hi. Sorry to hear that, I had the same score a few weeks back. 👎
Ryan
Walker,Pieters,Digne
Ceballos*, Sterling, Mount,Mane,Lanzini*
Aubameyang,Barnes
Your team is not so far off. Mount and Aubameyang are quality options to build from.
Not owning certain key players that score big points each week can result in a low score. It’s hard to predict who these players will be every round, so the best thing we can do is watch games and continue to make calculated decisions.
It’s not easy for me to rate your team because I want to say to bring in De Bruyne. How do you bring him in without losing a premium mid? That’s the challenge.
If you go super cheap with a Ceballos replacement, how close can you get to KDB for Lanzini? I understand prices are a factor, so it could involved digging into the squad depth. For example, Walker to Otamendi.
These are some thoughts and ideas, I hope you can turn things around with green arrows GW7.

Hi Bruno
I hope you are well.
Greetings from my trip in Phuket🙏🏼🏝.
Firstly, well done on a great GW6 out of the box strategy, especially with the Sterling/ Aguero swap and captaincy. Taking calculated risks , especially in the captaincy, can be highly rewarding.
I got 63 points in GW6, without any hits, with the main disappointment being my captain, Sterling not playing and not realising that my vice captain was set on Pukki, who blanked.
Surprisingly my OR improved to around 1m, with KDB and Ryan the main stars.
Managing team value still and my current team after making 2 early transfers( Sterling to Son and Digne to Pieters( to counter Pope owners, before 2 price drops) is:
Ryan,( Button)
TAA, Zinchenco, *Maguire, (Pieters), (Lundstram)
Salah, KDB, Son, Mount, Cantwell
*Barnes, Pukki, ( Martinelli)
ITB- 4.6m
TV- 101.0m
Other transfers I am considerring for a -12 hit for GW7 as a long term shake up, are:
1) Barnes to Aguero.
Sterling played 73 minutes in EFL cup and Jesus the full game, so Aguero fully rested.
2) To fund above move: Maguire or Zinchenco to 4.6m defender. Thinking of moving for Maguire to Tomori- worth it for a 4.5m top 4 defender?. Is he nailed on, with current Chelsea defence?. Otherwise, thats why there is benchcover in Pieters or Lundstram….?
I also thought of Mings and Soyunci. Any other 4.6 defenders to consider?
Is it better to transfer Maguire out rather than Zinchenco…..is Zinchenco likely to start against Everton as he never played yesterday, like Mendy who played from the bench?. Im hoping so, as I can always then swap Zinchenco to Otamendi next week.
Captaincy options, I see between Aguero and Son. Your views?
Please let me know your thoughts on my team and my transfer options above.
Your valuable insights and feedback would be really appreciated.

Hi, thank you. Nice! Hope you had a great time in Thailand.
You were super close to an even bigger score with the vice captaincy. Still, it’s a top score 63pts.
Know what you mean with Team Value. It’s a unique season with price changes. Players are falling so fast, difficult to rise. It’s almost as if avoiding price drops is more important than jumping on the biggest transfers-in.
The transfer plan is tricky this week because I would feel safer with two premium Man City attackers while they’re scoring so many goals.
If you make the additional moves, it might be between Soyuncu and Tomori. I have both on my Watchlist, maybe a preference for Soyuncu because he is 100% nailed-on. The only note with Soyuncu is his fixture GW8 vs. Liverpool that might require rotation with a player in your squad. I don’t know who Lampard prefers at CB when everyone is fit. Rudiger/Christensen or Rudiger/Tomori? Zouma might’ve fallen a little behind the order although I thought he looked better than Christensen against Liverpool.
No idea what’s happening with Zinchenko, I was confused that he wasn’t even in the squad yesterday. Does that mean he starts GW7, or has he fallen that far behind the order? Is he being saved for the Champions League? I have no idea what Pep is thinking. 🤔
Aguero feels like a strong captain pick if you have him, or KDB if you don’t. Son is the riskier option because Tottenham have been inconsistent, but he’s also in the mix as I expect a response in front of the home fans GW7.
I’ve been taking hits to get certain players early on, one week too soon a few too many times! Hopefully the hits pay off over a period of games, staying realistic for the very next Gameweek after a big hit.
Thanks.

Ola Bruno
Top week with 78 points , got in kun on the wildcard and he had some great chances to get even more than his respectable 9 , i am still concerned not owning sterling but hopefully kdb and kun will be enough to “cover” (hate that word) sterling.
got a few options this week i have 1ft transfer 0.8m in the bank , thinking of T.Abraham for C.Wilson. or digne/Aurier for otamendi . alternatively i can bank the transfer.
cap salah seems a good choice this week. my team below and as always thank you for your time and great content.
Pope/Button
Trent/Digne/Aurier/Lundstrum/Rico.
Salah/KDB/Mount/Cantwell/Douglas Luiz.
Kun/C.Wilson/Pukki.

Ola. Know what you mean with Aguero, he was so close to a huge return. Congrats on the big score 78pts! 🙂
I agree with you on Sterling, he is a top pick if he starts this weekend. If forced to choose again though, I would persist with KDB/Aguero after considering all the factors like rest/rotation.
With Mount, it’s not easy to shift out Wilson for Abraham. I would trust Wilson over Abraham because of their history in FPL, but Chelsea are so strong in the attack. They have no fear and doubling up on their players is not an issue.
Digne is a hard one to assess. He came close to scoring GW6 with a shot from inside the box, but Everton’s form and concerns over Marco Silva are red flags. The players look a bit lost. It would be easier to swap in Otamendi with a free transfer, then again, ownership stats with strong FPL managers is another factor. We can’t ignore it completely and it’s possible they could be dealing with other issues like Zinchenko. This could continue to make Digne a threat as far as ownership, although I made a move away from the template last week…
Salah is a strong captain pick. He made mistakes against Chelsea, but overall, he looks full of energy always running at defenders. He will get chances. Aguero also a top pick because of his ceiling when City are scoring so many goals. He should’ve scored twice as many points last week but was unlucky to hit the post twice.
Strong team. Banking the transfer vs. the forward swap are the two main decisions. Super close, stuck on this decision.

First – Even though Digne only got 1 point, I really appreciate the tip of not switching him out for Maitland-Niles :D.
Abraham look like he might have picked up an injury in the game and was taken off early. However, he has very nice fixtures and will increase even more in price. Would you consider it unsafe to bring him in before press conference? Do you think Batshuayi will get more minutes going forward?
Upper 90 Studios
25/09/19
That’s funny. Digne had at least one great chance to score, set pieces are another positive in his favor. Glad it worked out, kind of… 🙂
Abraham, maybe it was just his shoulder? Didn’t seem too serious, but we never know. Impossible to predict, but I would expect Lampard to keep the same attacking setup that’s been working this season. Unless there is an injury. Can see Bats coming on as a sub for Abraham when needing something different.
Even though I’m not aiming to get Abraham this week, I’m curious on his status now and would suggest waiting until we have official information.

Dear Bruno, really looking forward to your videos. Kinda like a Christmas present every week 😉
Alright GW 6 with 71 points with a -12 hit.
I have the funds to change VVD to TAA would you recommend that?
Def is now Maitland Niles, Otamendi, VVD, Lundstram, Kelly.
Would have changed Maitland Niles, but he is not suspended for GW7 because of midweek cup game, so might keep him if TAA is better option instead of VVD. Cant change Maitland Niles for TAA, dont have funds.

Also, who do you prefer, Soyuncu or Tomori?
Both good fixtures going forward.

Good picks. Leaning toward Soyuncu because he is safer from rotation. It might need a closer look GW8 against Liverpool, so plan accordingly.

That’s amazing, really appreciate the nice words. 🙂
71pts with the hit is a decent score after making difficult transfers.
Yes, with enough funds and no hit, I would probably make that swap for my own defense.

Thanks so much for your videos Bruno they are awesome! 74 points last week. This week took a -4 hit to bring in Abraham. I wonder wich cheap defender is the best option this week? Rico, Kelly or Lundstram? Also who is the best captain of Mane, De Bruyne and Sterling?
Your videos have helped me so much and my rank is now 72830.

Hi Bruno,
On WC this GW and seriously considering going without a Liverpool defender going forward. Would have to shuffle just over 2 million to fit in one of them and my team looks much less structured with one of them in. What are your thoughts on this? Here’s my team as of now:
Pope, Button
Tomori, Otamendi, Aurier, Lundstram, Simpson
KDB, Salah, Son, McGinn, Cantwell
Aguero, Abraham, Pukki

Hi. If I was on a Wildcard, TAA is the main Liverpool defender I would consider. Of course, the price makes it harder to invest in other areas.
Your team is excellent. The attack is a monster, I would be afraid to face it.
The only smallest note is Aurier. He is a top choice while starting regularly, but I would be cautious for my own team as Pochettino has a history of rotating the fullbacks. One big positive is it seems like Poch has been saving Aurier for the Premier League.
Just the small notes, nothing required to change. 👍
