Hi Bruno,
It seems that you’ve done way better in GW9 😉 My team has achieved a score similar to the one from GW8 (that is, 67). Perfect display from the defenders (Robbo, Chilwell, Cresswell) and another CS for Mendy! Adams (SOU) gave some bonuses at the front 🙂
Ziyech blanked but it was Werner who did not make use of his assists. I believe he will do better and better, just imagine what shall happen should Pulisic return! If managed well, Lampard may launch a goal-scoring machine (quite biased, Chelsea fan here!).
Mane blanked as well, even without Salah :/ He had some chances to score and I know he can be differential in upcoming games so I shall keep him. Robbo has come back and won my heart again! The one who has disappointed me most was “Hamez” so I sold him and bought Diogo Jota just before his price rose up.
Quite frustrating was the captain. If I had known that Son will score I would’ve kept him. Too bad Kane (C!) got a yellow, could’ve been 10, gave me just 8. Nonetheless, amongst the 3 choices, he gave me the most points when compared to Mane and Ziyech, so I should not complain this much… but it hurts (Son would’ve scored 20!).
This GW, “the Blues” will play home against Spurs (the current leader). I’d rather not to favour either of sides so I’d rather fancy a captain choice in LFC (Jota or Mane). As you mentioned in the video, either they give points or not. However, a 0:0 draw (a prediction of mine) would benefit both Chilwell and Mendy 😉
What can you say about my lineup for the GW10?
Mendy
Chilwell. Cresswell/Kilman (unsure), Robertson
Son, Jota, Mane, Ziyech
Kane, Adams, Bamford

Hi Kamil. Robertson Chilwell Cresswell is unbeatable. Robertson in particular was fantastic against Leicester and deserved even more points.
Adams didn’t drop in form despite the injury to Ings. Liking the move for Jota. 👍
As far as the GW10 team, defense is set. As you mentioned, Chelsea’s fixture is hard to predict, but anything can happen.
Attackers are perfect. I can’t improve it. We could see a response from Liverpool after the midweek defeat in Europe.
Thanks for the comment. -Bruno

Hey Bruno!
Had a great GW9 scoring 71pts. I captained DCL, transferred out Son for Rodriguez which didn’t work out but with the extra funds I upgraded my £4.0mil DEF to Telles (placeholder for someone better like Cancelo) and dropped Lamptey to the bench. I see that as a massive win 😂
Here’s the state of my team. ITB £0.6mil
Martinez.
R James, Chilwell, Telles.
Rodriguez, Jota, KDB, Mane.
Bamford, Werner, DCL.
Bench: Foden, Kilman, Lamptey.
I’m thinking my defence is looking not so hot for GW10 but I’ve hardly watched any football GW9 so not sure what to do next. I could bank a transfer and bite the bullet with a rubbish defence. Or is there any red flags that you see that I’ve missed? Any advice would be appreciated 😊
Good Luck for GW10 broski

Also bonus question for fun. Which West Ham defender would you pick for your team first? Not something I’m seriously considering, just asking friends that question gave different results. Personally I would pick Masuaka for the underlying stats but I could sway to Coufal in the future =)
Upper 90 Studios
26/11/20
As far as points potential, it’s nearly a tie between them. Maybe the smallest edge to Masuaku for the stats as you said.
But I thought I read from a Hammers fan that there’s the smallest risk Masuaku could be benched occasionally depending on the opponent and formation. For example if Cresswell switches to the left wingback position. Cresswell has been playing on the left side of a 3 center-back system.
Doesn’t seem likely that Moyes would change things after consistent performances.
I have both on my Watchlist and if there’s a clear reason to drop one of my defenders, I wouldn’t mind either replacement. Now I have to watch them closely to compare! 🙂

Hey! Well done with the top score 71 points. 👍
That’s exactly what I meant with the video. There are multiple ways to see the Rodriguez transfer. Good to see the positives with Telles and benching a negative return . 👍
No obvious red flags. I might put some pressure on Rodriguez to deliver as he did before the injury. Keep an eye on Grealish as an alternative. His scoring potential is affected slightly with Traore on the pitch and Barkley out, so it’s optional at this moment.
Your defense is not bad at all, especially with Lamptey available. Of course it’s a tricky fixture for Chelsea this week.

Ola Bruno,
Great to have you back! That intro music was soo sick, man you are so talented. Keep up the good work.
Congrats on a top score last gw. I also had a good gw with 68 points. Below is my current team for gw10. I already did Bowen to Jota move with my free transfer before the price rise tonight!
Martinez (Button)
Chilwell, James, Dallas (KWP, Fodder)
Son, Sterling, Rashford, Grealish, Jota
Kane, DCL (Brewster)
I also have double Chelsea defense facing my double spurs attack. Owning sterling has been so frustrating but hoping he can go one a nice run with those fixtures. I went with Salah —> Rashford last gw instead of Bruno and that didn’t pay off also. I am thinking about taking -4 this gw with below moves. Let me know what you think.
1) Son to KDB (c). I will be doubling up on city attackers for a high upside chasing. It’s a risk tho.
2) Kane to Vardy (c)
3) Do anything else. Sterling (c)
Thanks as always! I hope you have a great thanksgiving and even better gw!

Ola. Thanks! That’s amazing to hear.
I like your transfer which could be a sneaky way to cover for Salah.
Can see that with Sterling. It will be harder to justify the funds if he doesn’t pull his weight with the fixtures.
1) My original plan was to drop Fernandes and Son for KDB and Ziyech around GW11. After GW9, I rewarded my players for their points by keeping them and taking it game by game. But I can also understand the idea because of the fixtures. It’s also possible all of them could deliver…
2) Similar reasoning as above. Kane has had one of the most consistent starts to a season ever. Then again, Vardy vs. Fulham is ridiculously tempting!
3) Rashford has to step up, similar to Sterling. Otherwise, there could be alternatives like Fernandes which could require some tweaks depending on performances.
I have the same players and I’m leaning toward keeping them. But it’s also a green light to go for it because the fixtures favor KDB and Vardy. Pope could be out, Vardy faces Fulham’s defense.
Those are the notes, it’s not easy because I may be gambling against the majority this week and it has the potential to backfire.
Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving! -Bruno

Ola Bruno again. What are your thoughts on below moves:
a. Ziyech to Jota
b. Keane to Cancelo/Dias Who?
c. Kane to BamBam (leaky EVE plus this moves allows cash to get Salah/KDB next gw, alos got Son)
all moves for free, thx
Upper 90 Studios
27/11/20
Ola. a) Similar scoring potential. Maybe a slight edge to Jota with the fixture and he provides some insurance against Salah which may help the option to keep Kane. If forced, I would pick Salah or KDB over Jota at this moment, but things change quickly. Easier if it’s a free transfer, no hit.
b) This becomes harder for Cancelo because Mendy is back and played well in Europe midweek. Dias is pretty new to the league, so I’m still seeing how he’s adapting. They have good clean sheet potential GW10, but I don’t have the best assessment of City defenders overall.
c) That’s the big question. Kane has been consistent this season and he hasn’t even had penalties. My approach is to take it game by game, sticking with players who are coming through for my team despite the fixtures.
One reason for not planning very far in advance is injuries and COVID. They’re almost picking the priorities for me every week. It’s really tough because it feels like I’m going against the grain by sticking with Kane, Son…

Wow Bruno . Awesome Score !
Made 57 🙁 with Grealish (c) failure . Don’t own Bruno . Time to get him?
Good luck
Upper 90 Studios
27/11/20
Thanks! Grealish was a calculated captain choice. Barkley’s early injury hurt his potential.
Bruno is in excellent form. He’s been delivering despite the forwards wasting the easiest chances. When they start scoring, his potential could rise even more.
Boa sorte. -Bruno

Hi Bruno,
Welcome back! Great content as always.
I’m looking to bring in De Bruyne this week, so if you had to choose one, who would you get rid of between Son and Kane? I’m torn between the two…
I feel like City will look for a convincing win after their loss to Tottenham, so De Bruyne may be a good option.
Thanks!

Hi. Thanks! I can understand the change, plus fixtures are a factor. KDB is a top pick. 👍 If I didn’t have Salah, he’d probably be in my team.
Difficult decision because with high ceiling players like Son and Kane, we can see big points swings depending on which of the two explodes any given game.
If forced, I might drop Son? Kane feels like he has more ways to score – involvement in the attacking play, assists, penalties.
Thanks for the comment! -Bruno

Hello Bruno nice to see you got a good score.
I on the other hand got only 51 pts with a -4 hit:(.
This is my team right now
Martinez(McCarthy)
Chilwell Cresswell Justin (lamptey mitchell)
Salah Fernandes Grealish Jota (Fornals)
Vardy (c) dcl bamford
1.2 ITB
How does this team look going forward?
A Fornals is like a differential but I’m looking to replace him. Are there any good options. I was considering Soucek and then upgrade Cresswell/mitchell maybe get in Robertson/Digne/Telles/Mendy but not sure about any.
B Downgrade Cresswell and get ziyech in for fornals.
C Hold this team. Any other changes you can think of.
Also what are your thoughts on Kdb. Is he worth getting for Bruno?
And is Salah worth the 12.2. Maybe drop Salah do KDB and improve elsewhere?
Thanks!

27/11/20
Hello. Hope you bounce back with a big score this week.
I would rate your starters a 10/10. The bench, probably at the other end of that, but mine is even worse! You can improve it as the season progresses.
A. I might prefer the value in Soucek who was unlucky not to score yet again. Digne was on my Watchlist, now he needs surgery on a serious ankle injury suffered in training. From your list of defenders, leaning toward Robertson while keeping an eye on Telles. Mendy could be a rotation risk with Cancelo.
B. This is a tough one. West Ham have been consistent defensively. Trust your instinct if you’re feeling this move, not easy to assess.
C. Team is excellent overall. No priorities, just the notes on the bench which you’re already looking to tighten up.
I might rate KDB and Bruno with similar scoring potential. Neither of their teams has been firing on all cylinders, which makes Bruno’s recent returns impressive. To be fair, KDB has been close to points and the return of the forwards should help.
Only three players have more points in FPL than Salah and he missed a game. If he continues returning 8.4 points per game? Yes 🙂

Ola Bruno,
That was some killer intro music to the video, absolutely loved it.
Scored 69 last week, which was way more than I expected, bought in Bruno Fernandes this week. Just need help with one decision, who should I start, Kilman (against Arsenal) or Walker-Peters (against United) ?
Thanks a lot, wishing you lots of green arrows,
Shri
Upper 90 Studios
27/11/20
Ola Shri. Thanks, really glad you liked it. That’s a strong score, congrats. 👍
Arsenal were flat in the attack against Leeds before they went down a man. Then they woke up, but it was too late. Arsenal are a difficult team to assess, so it’s not easy. United can be similar with ups and downs.
If they end up scoring points, I could see Kilman doing it by earning a clean sheet. KWP delivering an assist. Whether that will happen, I don’t know because it’s more dependent on their opponents who are hard to predict.
Those are some notes, I don’t have a straight decision for this one, sorry!
Thanks and good luck. -Bruno

Hi Bruno
I like the theme and positive perspective in a negative situation on your video…..it extends beyond FPL too.
I have Chillwell, James and Kilman as starting defenders, with Lamptey injured and Dunne not playing.
Do you think, with Chelsea playing Spurs GW10, is it worth it to bring in Cancelo for Dunne, for a free transfer and then bench James, to avoid double Chelsea defense?.
Man City fixtures looking great for next few games…..
Other option is to carry forward the transfer, as I have no Man City players for a mini wildcard for GW11.
Your thoughts?
Cheers.
Pipshake
27/11/20
I meant Lamptey suspended.
Upper 90 Studios
27/11/20
Hi. Nice, thank you. That’s true with the theme of the video.
Cancelo could do well against Burnley who haven’t been scoring many goals this season. The only note is Mendy returned to action midweek in the Champions League and had an excellent game. If you create a backup plan that pivots off Cancelo without significant hits, it could work. This is assuming Cancelo ends up rotating in the future, which may not even happen.
I don’t have a confident prediction for the Chelsea game and four players against each other! Anything can happen when these two sides meet. They can play it safe, or go for it with lots of goals.
I can see your concern with the timing of Lamptey’s red card and the fixtures. Banking the transfer is another good option and it could be an advantage with so many players missing out every week. Just checked my Watchlist and had to remove Digne, awful news with his injury in training.
Depending on performances, I’m considering a mini-wildcard myself GW11 involving a defender swap with a West Ham defender like Coufal. Or I may stick with these players if they come through this week.

Hi bruno,
Please help me choose saiss transfer to the below:
A. Justin
B. James
C. Cresswell
D. Masuaku
Or maybe you have other defenders in mind?
Thanks in advance
Upper 90 Studios
27/11/20
Hi. I haven’t been focusing on Justin recently and can’t give a proper assessment. James has a tricky fixture vs. Spurs, but he has attacking potential as a defender.
Cresswell could work. For my team, I might prefer Masuaku and Coufal for their value into West Ham’s consistent defense. I was originally giving a slight edge to Coufal in case Masuaku was occasionally benched, but now I might rate them with even points-potential as Moyes is unlikely to change up a working system.
Dallas and Konsa are other defenders to watch in this price range.
-Bruno
