Hi Bruno, hope you are are family are safe and doing well.
I currently have all my chips including a wildcard. My team was sucking wind before the break, so looking to use the bench boost chip and the unlimited xfer option.
Here is my proposed initial team
Leno, Pope
TAA, Lundstram, Stevens, Fernandez, Soyuncu
KdB, Grealish, Mahrez, Ozil, D. Luiz
Vardy, Samatta, Aubameyang
I sort of like the above but don’t like Ozil so am thinking about
inserting Cantwell for Ozil to free up funds to bring in Sergio for Vardy and Henderson for Luno.
Would appreciate your thoughts.

I also like this BB draft. Hard to ignore Aguero in a DGW with two home games and high captaincy stats. I might say to reduce the risk of him scoring big by bringing him in, but it’s up to you. Vardy is more nailed-on.
Don’t know the price difference, but you could also check another possible way to fund Sergio by going with Nketiah instead of Samatta. Arteta seems to like him and he scored a hat-trick in a recent friendly. That change is optional and only to compare to your idea.
I might give an edge to Henderson over Leno.

Hi. Don’t know who it is. Actually, I might’ve read somewhere that the player has since been retested and was negative. I haven’t heard any official updates, so don’t hold me up to that! haha. Cantwell is a good option in his price range, and someone you might even keep for the long-run.
Jimenez vs. Nketiah, I might give the edge to Jimenez who’s nailed-on and dependable. Nketiah is pretty exciting for a bargain in a DGW, assuming he gets decent minutes. He’s a bigger gamble with unknowns.

Hi mate, I did a slow WC during the lockdown GWs. I am pretty happy with my team long term and I have used only 4 transfers to give me a DGW of 9 players…..Therefore not playing any chips…..am I mad ?? still have BB, TC, FH…..no 2nd WC

Not made at all. It was one of the options I considered, except I couldn’t quite push to Aguero with Aubameyang while keeping key players such as Jimenez and the defense intact.
Saving the chips can be a major advantage as we learn more about the new changes to the game.

Hi Bruno , 54 points so far on FH, hope Pep plays Aguero next game as I also put an armband on him. Though I did have last minutes thought on switching C to KDB< always trust your gut:)) How's your team doing so far? Early advise needed.

Hi. Solid score so far, I’m just a few points behind you. City starters had a boost with David Luiz, hopefully Aguero will start the next one. 👍
Need to think about the BB as I’d like to watch a game or two to see how managers are rotating and using 5 subs. But if you’re feeling it, why not?
I might say it’s between 1. and 3. Lundstram’s fixtures aren’t the greatest, but they can lock it down against good teams.
Hard to tell with Newcastle defenders because they have a solid home record, but there are no fans in the stadiums to cheer the home side on.
With someone like Lascelles, it could free up funds for flexibility in other spots if needed. For example, Barnes to Sarr or 6.5m.
Another idea could be Boly.

Very interesting first day of Fpl Aguero ,Reina ,Samata ,all non-starters for me, I feel as if I rushed my squad and missed out on some obvious picks.
I purchased Rashford for Aguero last night in anticipation of his price rising, then I also noticed son getting a-lot of transfer activity, so I been considering activating my wildcard while the likes of son are reasonably priced, as I lost value in my team from my previous team to the unlimited team.
I also purchased 3 villa players forgetting they aren’t a very good team lol.
your thoughts of hitting the wildcard button? I have a free-hit also I’m thinking that it will be better used in-game week 37 or 38.

Ola. Yes, plenty of shocks already and that’s just two games!
As far as the Wildcard, 16 out of 20 teams have yet to play since the relaunch. With a Wildcard, I prefer to watch at least a few rounds to check on player fitness and availability, plus form. There wasn’t much warning with Reina, and there were others such as Ozil who missed out altogether. I had Ozil in a few GW30+ drafts.
Plus injuries as we saw on Wednesday. Players have not had a proper “pre-season” to get to proper levels, they push hard and break down.
I would be ok with Aguero coming off the bench and starting the second game of a Double Gameweek. If he doesn’t start against Burnley…
If the team below is your current team, I don’t think a Wildcard is needed at this stage:

Alexander-Arnold, Lundstram, Lascelles, Saiss (Egan)
Salah, De Bruyne, Fernandes, Grealish (Saka)
Rashford, Jota (Samatta)
Future ideas could be to stretch Grealish up to Son with Samatta and Reina making way for super cheap options. If you can’t make it to Son easily, or if he’s not needed, then Grealish alternatives include Harvey Barnes and Sarr or a shift to 4-3-3 with Calvert-Lewin, possibly Jimenez depending on funds. Saiss to Doherty would tighten up the backline.
1-2 possible tweaks to consider for the starting XI.
The FH could be interesting later on when teams have lots on the line like fighting for a Champions League spot or avoiding relegation. Who knows, we could even see a future DGW if there are other cancellations.
As far as price changes, I don’t know if the season is restarting fresh like at the start of the season, with price thresholds reset to 0. If this is the case, it could take some days until prices change. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.

Interesting dgw30 so far to say the least. I was shocked when Newcastle put 3 goals past a usually defensively solid Sheffield United and likewise quite disappointed with the Liverpool performance. On the matter of Liverpool, my dilemma is pretty simple: given that Salah appears to be carrying a, granted small, slight knock I am unsure as to whether to include Salah or Mane in my wildcard draft for gw31. I just have that feeling that Salah will start against Crystal Palace, given that had Klopp not have been forced into substitutions in other positions through injury it appeared that he would’ve been brought on. As a result of watching such an offensively predictable and, at times, flairless display I can’t help but feel that he will be itching to play and hence do so in a more urgent and driven manner, perhaps even making him more likely to accumulate a higher points tally. On the flip side, there clearly is, however minor, that underlying niggle or injury which he is carrying which could make him ultimately play less minutes than Mane. All of this considered, I am still completely torn between the 2. Your thoughts on the whole Salah Mane debate would be appreciated Bruno; I am edging towards Mane because of the fact that he currently holds less of a risk of not starting however I could quite easily go with Salah for the reasons I have previously mentioned. Again, your thoughts would be appreciated. Love the content my friend, keep it up 👍

Hi. Yes, Newcastle, Sheffield United, Liverpool. All strange.
I prefer Salah in the long-run. However, for the next 1-2 rounds, Mane has an edge. My current plan keeps both as a gamble, then I will most likely drop one if not both depending what Klopp has in mind after they clinch the title.
I might say at this very moment, I would prefer Mane with enough funds ITB to make the swap to Salah if needed later on.

Pensonnaly, I’m having a pretty good week, after doing a complete reshuffle and Bench Boost.
So far, with Man City v Burnley left to play, with De Bruyne (C), Aguero, & La Porte yet to add, I’m on 115 points with an overall rank of 82,000
I’m using my Wildcard for 31+, and have come up with selection. Perhaps you could let me know your thoughts?

Not seeing easy ways to upgrade it, which is great. Maybe a bit of a gamble on 3x Spurs, but it all depends on how Kane returns to fitness as his points-ceiling is high.
Nothing required to change. A minor note is to keep in mind a backup plan in case Spurs don’t deliver. For example, keep an eye on form and fixtures of cheaper forwards like Ings and Calvert-Lewin.
