FPL GW30+ Team
🚨 Final GW30+ Team! 🚨
*FREE HIT*
***UPDATE: Last-minute changes left me with no time to post the team before the deadline. I had to focus so I wouldn’t make a mistake. I’m so sorry, here is the final team. Since @FPLRockstar said Fleck wasn’t playing, I swapped him out for Stevens with seconds remaining. That’s the main change from the Free Hit team I shared on the video. Thanks for watching and good luck!!! 👍💯 -Bruno
Previous updates.
• Fleck is expected to play according to @dannyhall04 on Twitter.
• Rumors Fleck isn’t starting against Villa. This would affect the FH team plan, although the very first draft I created on instinct did not include Fleck.

Hi Bruno
Great to have you back. Awesome video with great strategic tips.
I have previously unlocked value out of existing top players, so have less value to lose by selling them now and bringing them back in.
This along with trying to attack the DGW to try to push up my overall rank and get out of the millionaires club, has made me decide to go with the unlimited transfers route with the benchboost chip for GE30+.
I still have wildcard and free hit left and might consider using one of them for GW31+.
My current team options are:
Option 1:
Leno, Reina
Lundstram, Egan, Target, TAA, Doherty
De Bruyne, Mahrez, Grealish, Ozil, Fleck
Aguero, Aubameyang, Jiminez
Option 2:
Leno, Reina
O’Connell, Egan, Target, TAA, Sais
De Bruyne, Mahrez, Grealish, Pepe, Fleck
Aguero, Aubameyang, Jiminez
Option 3:
Leno, Ederson
O’Connell, Egan, Target, TAA, Doherty
De Bruyne, Grealish, Mcginn, Pepe, Fleck
Aguero, Aubameyang, Jiminez
Option 4:
Leno, Reina
Lundstram, Egan, Basham, TAA, Lascelles
DeBruyne,Sterling,Grealish,Mcginn, Traore
Aguero, Aubameyang, Jiminez
What do you think is the best team option from the above and how would you rank them?.
Any other suggested players you would recommend to tweak any of the team options?.
Captain option, I cant think of anyone besides…..Aguerooooooo?
Your valued feedback would be appreciated.

Hi. No problem. Reasonable to sell now with unlimited transfers if you’re not losing too much value. You might not even need some of the players back, you can feel it out as you go. Can also understand trying to fight up the charts by taking a chance.
Option 1: Feels like a winner with Lundstram and Doherty. Struggling to find a weakness, maybe Targett although it’s hard to improve that final spot with funds for all 15 players.
Option 2: No Lundstram, Pepe can be hit or miss, although he does have a decent ceiling.
Option 3: Not sure about McGinn without seeing him play a few games after a serious injury.
Option 4: Liking this one also with Lundstram. Decision over Sterling or Mahrez, I like the price/points potential of Mahrez. Never know with Guardiola, so it’s a coin toss either way. Wish we knew if McGinn was ready to go 100%.
I might rank them 1, 4, 3, 2.
Also leaning toward captain Aguerooooooooo.

Thanks Bruno for the feedback.
I agree option 1 appears strongest.
Would you recommend replacing Target(dgw)with Lascelles(sgw)?
Do you think Lascelles will play, I heard he recently had another child?.
The other headache I have is whether to start Mahrez or rather replace with Sterling as some people think he is more likely to starr both games. If so then which option would you recommend is better:
a) Sterling and D. Luiz
b) Mahrez and Ozil
All the best and wishing you an enoyable gameweek and plenty of green arrows.
Cheers.

Yes, he did have a child over the last weekend. It’s possible he could be given extra time to be with his family, so consider that factor. Targett can sometimes sneak in an attacking return.
Leaning toward b) as a gamble with Ozil, but it’s hard to tell how much playing time he will get. David Luiz can be hard to trust with his decision-making in key moments.
Good luck!

Hey mate! Great video with some interesting tips.
Draft FH team:
Reina
Lund, O”Connell, Baldock
Salah, Mahrez, Grealish, KDB
Aub, Kun, Tammy
Fodder/Guendouzi, Tanga, Fodder
wondering what are your thoughts on this team. Wanted to have a balanced team bw DGW players and SGW players who have good fixtures.
thx

What’s up. Thanks!
I’m, also feeling a combo of DGW and SGW players. The only note would be to see if you can push for Fleck in the middle instead of 3x SHU, but it might not be worth complete bench destruction or sacrificing one of your picks.
Someone wrote on the Youtube comments that Aston Villa fans weren’t sure if Reina was guaranteed to start. The commenter mentioned Nyland, but I would choose Reina for my own team at this moment with the info we have. Could be worth digging into i just in case. Ngakia could give you an extra 0.1m if needed.
Looks strong overall. The only note is to check up on the Villa GK situation. As I understand, Reina’s loan deal ends at the end of June, so he’s available to play GW30+.

HI Bruno. Nice video and good remind about Pep and rotation.
I am planning to go a little different this game week 30+, if Pep is always unpredictable imagine after a long time his players without play and a short schedule.
And since I don’t have the WC anymore I am going to with strong mids for the rest of the season. I believe clubs like MU, Chelsea and Spurs and Wolves will fight for CL places.
Ederson\ Henderson
Doherty-TAA-Lascelles-Aurier-Egan
Son-Martial-Bruno F.-KDB- Grealish
Jesus- Sharp- Jimenez
BB active.
I know my front 3 with Jesus e Sharp goes very different from everybody else but I feel gamble with unlimited transfers and Jesus will be transfer out for Rashford or Tommy after GW30+.
Even I got red arrows this week I’m expecting with that mid players future green arrows on a long run.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.
Se cuida.

Hi. Thank you. No idea what Pep could do before, imagine now with 5 subs? 🙂
Agree on United, Chelsea, Spurs and Wolves cover for the reason you mentioned. Rashford is high on my Watchlist as well.
Strong team for the long-run. Keep an eye on Ayew for that cheap forward spot if Sharp doesn’t deliver. If Martial also fails to pull his weight, look into Barnes or Sarr.
I like the gamble on differentials. 👍 Struggling to improve it, other than the suggestions above that would be after GW30+ anyway.
Abraço.

Hi Bruno,
Great to have you back and hope you are well. I will be taking full advantage of the unlimited transfers before the double game week commences on Wednesday with the intention of wild carding out of my team as soon as the game week ends. Just a quick one, for this game week alone I am unsure as to which one of the following 4 players I should place in my starting 11 (of course 3 of the 4 mentioned will be on my bench).
Lascelles, Saka, Douglas Luiz and Samatta.
Please note that I will also be utilising the bench boost chip this game week. Your thoughts would be very much appreciated on this matter; which 1 of the 4 would you lean towards placing in your starting 11? Keep up the good work and thank you in advance

Hi. Glad to be back. My family and I are healthy, so I can’t complain.
Lascelles just had a baby, so he missed training over the weekend. I might rank him higher, and he is in my long-term team, but I’m not 100% sure about GW30+ if he’s given more time off to be with his family. Maybe we can dig up a bit more info on this before deadline.
Leaning toward Douglas Luiz. Maybe the points-ceiling could be slightly higher with Samatta, but I don’t enough about him yet to make a proper assessment. I also like Nketiah for a gamble on that final starting spot, and might pick him over them all, but that depends on whether you can squeeze another Arsenal player. Arteta seems to like him and I believe he scored a hat-trick in a recent friendly.
Thanks for the comment.

Hi Bruno
I went with the free hit, and know i am going to regret it already 😛 I am fairly happy with the team except for one defender. Currently have Mari from Arsenal, but unsure if he will start? At the moment my cap is 4.8. I have 3 man City 3 sheffield and 1 Villa. I have Mane. So my question; would you go for Mari in defence? Would you go for abother defender like Fernandez in Newcastle? Or would you sell Mane for a cheaper option and then choose another defender from Arsenal like Tierney?
Best regard
Upper 90 Studios
16/06/20
Hi. I hope you smash over 100 points. 👍 I have Mari in a few drafts also. No other defenders make my FH teams except for SHU players like Egan, but you’re probably already maxed out on SHU cover. I might also consider Lascelles, but he mainly makes the bench in my drafts. Fernandez could have a higher goal threat, so he might work even better. Hard to tell with Mari, and it is a bit of a gamble, so you’d have to accept the risk going into it.
I might say to keep Mane as he’s looked sharp and Liverpool will go for it. I’m also not sure if Everton solved the right-back spot, from a defensive standpoint at least. Sidibe is more attack-minded, Coleman hasn’t been the best with injuries this season. Mane could take advantage if there is a weakness on that side.

Thanks Bruno!
Always appreciate your input. I found the perfect solution, I think….. hehe; I chose Leno over Henderson in goal, and put Egan in. My thinking there is that Egan most likely will have same point potensial as Henderson, and Leno I think will have a better point potensial than the arsenal defenders. No offence to Arsenal, but i do not trust their defence, so not to optimistic about clean sheets, and Luiz and maybe Sokratis have the biggest goal threat, but dont think Sokratis will play both matches, maybe non, and with the reported problems with Luiz and contract negotiations, im worried if that will affect his minutes to, and also i need to transfer out Mane to get him in, and as you say; i think mane will get good points this round!

No problem! Leno is nailed-on and your idea with Egan makes sense.
Agree with you on Arsenal, hard to tell which side will turn up.

Hey Bruno
I am unsure whether I should use a free hit or utilise the unlimited transfers.
Here is my current team:
Ryan,Mcgovern-Trent,Doherty,Lundstram,Stephens(so’ton),Kelly-KDB,Salah,Traore,Grealish,Snodgrass, Ings,Auba,Jimenez.
I’m pretty happy w my team for the remaining fixtures but I would like to transfer out a few players such as Stephens,Lundstram,Ryan and Snodgrass (because of fixtures or risk of not playing). And so I was thinking of just using the unlimited transfers and switching them out for the likes of fleck and enda Stevens (as they are good budget options that also have a double GW). And because I havent got both mane and Salah currently, I won’t be able to pick between either if I use the FH chip. I also like that unlimited transfers allows me to save my chips (maybe FH for GW 38+ for one final push), also, I can transfer out deadwood like Snodgrass Ryan Lundstram(bench risk cos Sheffield utd have Berge now) now rather than slowly over time which would use up my free transfers. I would also like to trade my Salah for mane.
On the other hand, if I just use the unlimited transfers and transfer in some Sheffield utd players, I wouldn’t have mahrez or aguero like ppl w FH teams (as they are too big rotation risks in a normal team). also if I don’t use my FH now, there’s no other obvious time to use it and my changes with my unlimited transfers would be to fringe players anyway (i.e I’m happy w my core/expensive players) so unlimited transfers wouldn’t change too much and might be a waste not to use FH for this double GW. so FH is quite compelling.
Would love to get your thoughts on what you think would be best for my situation(ruled out bench boost and wildcard in31+ as it used the WC too early imo)?
Sorry about the long winded message 😅
Thanks, love the content!

Hey. I’m still tossing between the different options, so I can understand.
As far as your team, it has a strong core. Only a few tweaks to consider depending on performances. For example GW31+, you could consider Aubameyang for Rashford which may allow bumping a midfielder to Bruno Fernandes. Or you could tighten up the GK spots.
I like the idea of being safe in the long-run with Stevens and Fleck. I do like Lundstram for his goal-threat, so it’s not easy. I can remember Sheffield United struggling to score around the time Lundstram lost his starting spot. Then he came back and scored and made the team more dangerous in the attack. I believe Lundstram scored a brace in a recent friendly, so he makes for an interesting option DGW30+.
I agree, saving the FH chip for later is an important factor. There are no other scheduled DGWs remaining, but it doesn’t mean something can’t change in the future.
Salah vs. Mane is difficult to assess without seeing them back in action again. I might give Mane a small edge based on the info we have from recent friendlies, but Salah is also great.
Right, whenever I build a draft with unlimited transfers, I can’t fit in Aguero without sacrificing key players like Salah or Jimenez. Part of the attraction of the FH is that we don’t have to worry about making a commitment to players who may not be 100% guaranteed starters in the long-run. But for a Double Gameweek and two home games? There isn’t a much better calculated risk than Aguero with arguably the highest points-ceiling in the game. It makes FPL fun to play, or cry if it backfires!
I like the long messages as there’s less guessing from my part. 🙂
In the end, the final decision is up to you. We have similar teams and reasoning – pros and cons – for FH vs. unlimited. I haven’t ruled anything out completely, but I’m also straying away from an early WC as I’d like to see a few games from Rashford, Son, Kane and other key players. I’d also like to see how the new rules will affect FPL. A WC might capitalize on these changes later on.
Thanks for your comment and I appreciate the support. 👍

Ola Bruno,
Awesome to hear your voice again. Hope you and your family are doing well and being safe. For the gw 30+, i have a little dilemma. I currently have free hit and bench boost left and i don’t have a second wc. I am unsure on which one to use. Below is my current team without any unlimited transfers. It has a good core i believe. Should i go with free hit this gw and bench boost next or do you reckon i should go with bench boost and save the fh for later?
Pope (McHarthy)
TAA, Doherty, Egan, Lascelles, Taylor
Mane, KDB, Bruno, Barnes, Saka
Rashford, Jiminez, Jota
Above is the gw 38 team. I made few transfers during the gws to fix my team in case fpl was back. Let me know your thoughts!
Upper 90 Studios
16/06/20
Ola. Doing well, thanks. Same for you and your family.
Your current team is a monster, one of the best I’ve seen for the long-run. If you have value tied up on key players, Free Hit GW30+ is a good fit as it allows you to revert to this exact team GW31+. Then you can decide whether to Bench Boost or save it for later in the season.
With my squad, 14/15 of my players have risen in price since I bought them. Even if it’s a £0.1m profit, like in my case with Calvert-Lewin, this adds up quickly for 11+ players. If I was to Bench Boost or use unlimited transfers to bring in DGW players like Aguero and Aubameyang, I might be priced out when buying back the players I have now. I could just keep them through GW30+, but I prefer Aguero over Jimenez, Aubameyang over DCL for the Double Gameweek.
If you don’t have a lot of profit tied into your squad, or can build a Bench Boost squad for GW30+ that keeps key players and brings in quality DGW30+ players, that could be even stronger. With all 15 players featuring, the points-potential for a BB team GW30+ should be higher than a FH team. That’s speaking about GW30+ on its own. I’m thinking of more than just GW30+ for my chips strategy.
Our teams are different. Your team has a few DGW players that I don’t have on mine (Egan and KDB). Consider all options including using unlimited transfers without a chip.
To summarize:
1. If you have value tied up on key players, the FH GW30+ could be a good fit to avoid having to buy them back at a higher price GW31+. Or not being able to buy them back at all.
2. If you can build a BB team that keeps your strong core intact while also bringing in quality DGW players, then that is another top option.
It’s hard to point you in a set direction without seeing how much value you have on players, or playing around with funds available while building different drafts.
For my team, I’m leaning toward the FH chip GW30+ with Aguero and Auba. I’m willing to accept a lower score than managers using the BB, but I’m also excited when it reverts to my current squad for GW31+ and the long-run.
Thanks for the comment! 👍

Hi Bruno,
Another question from me,I apologise for the spam 🤨😂Having looked over your recent comment I have reshuffled my side and decided to take an educated punt on Nketiah and thus have additional funds to upgrade slightly a midfielder. At the moment I am torn between Mason Mount and Adama Traore; what are your thoughts on this, who would you favour of these 2? Feel free to state any other midfielders you may perhaps value as better than these 2 for my fpl side within a similar price range too if you feel this is the case.
Thank you in advance, again I apologise for the spam
Upper 90 Studios
16/06/20
Hi. I have Traore on my current team, but wouldn’t be opposed to selling him because of his recent injury issues.
I might rank mids in that price range like this: Sarr, Barnes, Mount, Traore. Maybe Doucoure if you’re battling in a mini-league and your opponent has Sarr but you can’t swing the funds. 🙂

Hi bruno,
Great to have you back. I have also decided on the FH chip but have a few more tweaks to make. what do you think of my team?
Henderson/Martin
TAA, Targett, Egan, Lundstram/Simpson
KDB, Sterling, Pepe/Guendouzi + Amartey
Auba, Aguero, Samatta
I’m considering Pepe/Samatta for Ozil/Jimenez and i’m also unsure if i want any arsenals players at all! What are your thoughts? Also do you think Egan will play? I’m pretty settled on the rest of the team with KDB captain.
Any thoughts would be great!

16/06/20
Hi Aaron. Thanks, glad to hear from you. 👍
Not 100% sure on Egan, but he should be nailed unless something changed since the break. I like it as is and there’s no need to change it. Pepe is hot or cold, but his ceiling can be high.
Henderson (Martin)
TAA, Targett*, Egan, Lundstram (Simpson)
KDB, Sterling, Pepe* (Guendouzi, Amartey)
Auba, Aguero, Samatta*
*These are the players I might consider tinkering with. Plus the bench is light. In our last Double Gameweek, KDB didn’t feature with a surprise injury.
If you’re not feeling Arsenal players, another draft could try Grealish in for Pepe, using the extra funds to upgrade Samatta.
If you just love Arsenal so much :), an alternative might be Nketiah up top for Samatta, using the additional funds for Fleck in the middle. That would force out Egan which reduces the rotation risk if you’re worried.
This might also provide bench cover, potentially using Targett as first off the bench while upgrading a defender spot in the starting XI (Doherty?).
