FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM TIPS FOR 2019-20
FPL GW9 Team
🚨 Final GW9 Team! 🚨
TRANSFERS OUT: Aguero, Gallagher, van Dijk
TRANSFERS IN: Abraham, Wilson (c), Alexander-Arnold
***UPDATE: Going for a mini-wildcard with 3 transfers and a -4 hit (2FTs). Late move for TAA whose price is close to rising. Waiting could price me out of next week’s transfer plan. Digne and Everton have to deliver against West Ham, no excuses. Need a bit of magic from Son if he comes off the bench! Thanks for watching and good luck!!! 👍💯 -Bruno
Previous updates.
• Nearly there! Two free transfers from Plan A to be confirmed before Friday night’s price changes. There is a change in Plan B. If I take a hit, it won’t be to sell Digne. Thinking ahead of next week’s potential transfers requires a different swap this week. I’ll post it as soon as it’s confirmed.
• No transfers confirmed yet. Two free transfers this week to get back on track. GW9 transfer plan, or Plan A, revealed on the video. Plan B is to sell Digne for Pereira for a -4 hit.

Hi Bruno,
Good video again, like the spirit, thanks for the cheatsheets!
You look to be in bad weather for two GW’s, but making decisions that also fully accord to what I think should be right. Very pleased to hear your intentions of lining-up a front three I’ve been planning too. Still had doubts of course – so may roads – but this will seal it, I guess.
Had a fair start of the season (229K GW2) but, drifted up to 1,6M, with no green arrows from that GW2! GW8 turned the tides: 55-4 points and a 600K(!) rise to a rank just out of the millionaires: 992K. Still somewhere around 50th compared to Elite64, so I’m not alone :).
Team for GW9 currently on:
Pope
TAA, Tomori, Lundstram
Mane, Mount, KDB, Sterling
Pukki, Abraham, Haller
(Button, Yarmolenko, Lowton, Kelly)
TV: 102,5 ex ITB.
Past GW’s I’ve transferred to savings of a 0,5M and that’s just sufficient to do Haller to Callum Wilson. Yarmolenko should be enough for WH-coverage. Not quite convinced yet, whether CW will get the armband. Strong case for more than one player. Currently it’s on Tammy.
Glad we’re on our way again, after IB.
Let’s hope we can continue our progress!

Hi. You’re welcome. Glad to hear your score last week to give you a nice boost in the ranking. 👍
Close between CW and Tammy for captaincy. I’m taking a chance on Norwich’s weak defense, but Chelsea are dangerous in the attack.
Liking the team and plan, now it’s up to the players to deliver. Good luck!

Hi Bruno,
Need your view on this, my final but maybe most important decision on wc:
A. Mane, Kun
B. Sterling, Auba
Thanks 🙂

Hi. That’s a nightmare decision. Smallest risk of rotation with Aguero, so the smallest edge to Sterling/Auba?
Stumped on this one, sorry!

Hello Bruno – thanks for the cheatsheets!
I have a question – which 2 players should I choose (one mid and one forward) between Callum Wilson, Vardy, Maddison and McGinn ?
The budget is enough, so what do you think which are the better choices for the next 5,6 gameweeks ?
Upper 90 Studios
17/10/19
Hello. No problem! Aston Villa attackers are facing strong defenses for the next month or two.
Leaning toward Wilson+Maddison, although both will face trickier opponents after the next 2-3 games.

Hi Bruno..
2 weeks off, kept me thinking and try to twerk a bit my team..
What do you think of my team?
Planning to take a -12 hit
(In bracket, thats the one I want to transfer in)
Pope
Aurier, soyuncu, otemendi
Salah, Mahrez (KDB), cebalos (d.silva), yarmalenko,
Aguero (vardy), abraham, pukki (c.wilson)
Bench: button, lundstram, TAA, cantwell
Not quite sure what am i doing, just going with my guts.
Peace From Brunei..
Hope you have a great week..

Hi. It’s harder to justify bigger hits when we’re seeing low average scores, but it’s up to you. Anything can happen and it’s difficult to predict at this moment.
I like the idea with Wilson. As mentioned on the video, the concern is the timing selling Pukki as Bournemouth have yet to keep a clean sheet this season. I also like bringing KDB back in. David Silva can work, but he might not be 100% nailed-on.
Don’t have a good read on Vardy at this moment, so that one is up to you. Wonder if you could make a compromise by going with Wilson, Abraham, Pukki as it could allow a move back to KDB.
Then work from there next week. This is just another idea to compare to yours that can also work. Even though the large hit may not pay off in the very next GW, it could in the long-run. Although less significant, there are other factors to keep in mind such as price changes.
Thanks for the comment. 👍

Hi Bruno
l hope you are well…..
Like most of us GW8 was an odd week with most premium players/captain selections scoring low points. l ended up with 34pts with a -4pt hit moving Dendonker & Digne out > Yarmolenko & Rico in and a red arrow down to 286k OR.
Below is my current team, with 1FT, WC & £1.3 ITB;
Pope (Button)
VVD / Otamendi / Rico – (Lundstram / Soycuncu)
Salah / Sterling / KDB / Mount / Yarmolenko
C. Wilson / Pukki – (Greenwood)
For GW9 I was planning to roll the FT, but with Abraham’s high ownership including #Elite64 and he’s the highest owned attacking player, with Pukki’s form l maybe forced into this move, but Pukki has a decent fixture against Bournemouth who haven’t kept a clean sheet this season and even GW10 against Man U he is a proven goal scorer against the top teams. However, Norwich’s poor form and they were bad in the Villa game is a real concern.
My original plan was to upgrade VVD > TAA in GW10, but the above move would mean possibly downgrading Salah > Mane or Otamendi > to someone like Boly @5m.
There are a few on my watch list atm;
– Hudson-Odoi – an improving player, need to see if Frank gives him more game time.
– Pereira – attacking threat / Leicester good fixtures.
– Ings – this might surprise some people, but if injury free he does score against the
top teams, LIV/TOT/CHE so far.
– Chambers – good stats since returning from injury
– Jimenez – swing in fixtures
The captain pick is again a tricky one and l tend to get it wrong most weeks, if l go for Tammy then it’s on him, if not then maybe either Sterling or C. Wilson?
Good luck and l hope your arrows are green!!

Hi Malc,
Yes, looking at the highest scoring players GW8, not sure I’d want any of them with the exception of 1-2 attackers.
Can see your dilemma with Pukki vs. Abraham. If forced to choose one, I might cut Pukki for the reasons you mentioned. I’m willing to give Pukki a chance against Bournemouth and probably United at home, but there are no guarantees.
I’ve also had a plan for TAA from VVD, but they’re only separated by 7pts, so I keep putting it off. Boly is a good choice, if Otamendi and Man City concede again, it could be worth a closer look.
Not much between Salah and Mane at this very moment. Hard to tell what the next few games will bring, there could be small margins between the two players and a big difference for owners of either player.
I like Pereira, not sure if you’d keep Soy also? Don’t know enough about Chambers at Arsenal at this moment, but I’ll keep it in mind. I can remember him being a threat from attacking set pieces when he was at Fulham. Good tip with Ings, as you said one worry is his injury record. Jimenez is also on my Watchlist, want to see Wolves bouncing back to their best form before committing.
All three Tammy, Sterling and Wilson are good captain choices. I’m currently on Wilson to bet against Norwich’s leaky defense, but Tammy can also work as Newcastle have dropped down from the top level of defenses in away games, to the lowest level this season. No Rafa Benitez.
The biggest decision is Abraham vs. Pukki, I’m taking a chance on the trio Abraham, Wilson and Pukki so it’s hard to point others in a set direction.
Good luck with the final decision and I wish you a big score. 👍

Hi Dario. 🇭🇷 Glad to hear that, thanks. 👍
Keep a close eye on Spurs as they have to deliver against Watford. No excuses for Aurier and Son, even though I’m accepting that Son could come off the bench for this one. He has scored from the bench before, so I’m still holding him responsible GW9.
Let’s see if we get any more news on Aguero and his chance of starting this weekend. A few things popped up recently. He has been playing with a small heel injury, then a minor car accident yesterday. If he can’t start regularly at his price, then it could be worth reducing the risk and invest in other areas.
No changes needed at this very moment, only minor notes to stay on top of.

Keep on and good luck

Olá, tudo bem obrigado. 👍
The cheatsheet helped me get moving when making transfers, I was feeling stuck. The last few rounds have been so hard to predict, points are coming from different players and I really don’t want most of those players. Need mine to score and deliver to their potential. 🙂
I like the idea with King, Barnes is a doubt again. It’s possible that the groin problem has been affecting him and causing his recent scores.
Boa sorte.

Hi Bruno. I’m still a noob fpl player who has gone through a lot and wasted both triple captain and wildcard and i am planning to reset my team so i can start again from something like the elite 64 top team. What is my best option to reset? By the way, my team at the moment is:
GK – Leno
DEF – Maitland-Niles, Alexander-Arnold, Van dijk, Zinchenko
MID – Sterling(C), Noble, Millvojevic, Mount
ATT – Pukki, Aguero(V)
Bench:
Adrian, Ayew, Kelly, Robinson
Thanks in advance for tips on resetting

I’ve never played that monthly style, and never even joined a mini-league. So I’m probably not the best for this situation. 🙂

Hi. Rebuilding from the safety of the template is a smart strategy. At worst, you will stop losing ground against strong managers until you can find the right moment to gain an advantage.
The game is super unpredictable at this moment, points are coming from different players every week.
GK – Leno
DEF – Maitland-Niles, Alexander-Arnold, Van dijk, Zinchenko
MID – Sterling(C), Noble*, Millvojevic*, Mount
ATT – Pukki, Aguero(V)
Bench: Adrian*, Ayew, Kelly, Robinson
You know I sold Aguero, but I can’t suggest others sell him because we all know what he can do. I can tell you why I sold him. One reason was because I’m not 100% sure he will start. The other was to move for Abraham and Callum Wilson, which helped with the captaincy GW9. Aguero is not a major threat as far as ownership with strong managers, Abraham is.
Sterling is a solid captain this week, Man City have to win. It’s a hard one to predict because Crystal Palace can be stubborn to break down.
I can list key players to consider. Abraham and KDB are strong targets, with Wilson and possibly a Leicester defender right behind. Lundstram is in the mix, although it would be better to identify the player sacrificed after watching another round of games. TAA is the safest defender to own in your side.
Adrian to a £4m GK is a way to free up funds.
Don’t know if you could work toward these players by spreading out transfers over the next few rounds. See what you can come up with with these players in mind. 👍
