FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM TIPS FOR 2019-20
FPL GW5 Team
🚨 Final GW5 Team! 🚨
TRANSFERS OUT: Wan-Bissaka, Mané
TRANSFERS IN: van Dijk, De Bruyne
***UPDATE: Two transfers close to deadline: Wan-Bissaka and Mané out for van Dijk and KDB (-4 hit). Not taking a chance in case Newcastle lock things down away as they did versus Spurs already this season. Norwich have no defensive players, I prefer Man City attackers this round. Watching another round of games to assess form and potential, leaving enough flexibility to upgrade any position – defense, midfield, forwards. Thanks for your patience and good luck everyone! 👍💯 -Bruno
Previous updates.
Still deciding who to sell, Wan-Bissaka or Maguire. Not happy to see Wan-Bissaka at 50%, although he was pictured with the United squad. I might end up taking a chance on Maguire against his former club… Vardy vs. Maguire sounds like a really good time! 🙂
No early transfers. There is a 2-week international break that could see surprise injuries or players benched GW5. Waiting until the press conferences before making any moves, but that doesn’t mean we can’t plan ahead.
I’m considering making another video for GW5 with the top picks and high-risk players to avoid. Can’t wait to watch the rest of the games (except Man United) and do some research. I appreciate your positivity, stay tuned! -Bruno

GW5 transfers and positive action plan ✅
CAUTION! International duty.
Some Premier League players will be away with their countries during the two-week international break.
This increases the risk of injury and rotation GW5. My plan is to hold off on early transfers, even if it means missing out on price changes. The press conferences should provide more clues close to deadline. If you’re on a Wildcard, you can rest easier. 👍

I haven’t made any transfers yet, so the team is unchanged at this moment. I’ll post an update tonight before the price changes as I will probably make one of two transfers then. Thanks.

Hi Bruno
I hope you are well. I have been so busy planning for my Thailand trip( need a break with 2 busy boys), FPL has taken a backseat, luckily there was an international break….so back to some last minute FPL planning.
Do you think TAA will start against Newcastle?. Are you not considerring him instead of VVD, with his higher ceiling or are you mainly looking at VVD higher ownership?.
I brought in TAA and DeBruyne for -4 early transfers. I have Maguire as the player on chopping block….not sure this week though,
I am though tempted to bring in VVD also with the extra 2.9m funds in the bank, but not sure its worth it for -8 hit.
For most people Man City captain a no brainer- Sterling? Salah at Anfield though is also an option, with their home record……decisions……and captain choice can be the difference. Are you planning to be “cautiously different” or conservative in your captain choice this week?.
Please let me know your views.

Hi. Sounds like an amazing time in Thailand!
Just confirmed the move, VVD instead of TAA for now. Without cover from the bench, all my players flagged red, it’s harder to ignore VVD being 100% nailed every game.
The international break affects continuity in FPL, so I’d like to assess form and potential after the break, keeping all options available.
Yes, I’ve gone Sterling captain against Norwich, Salah vice. 👍

Thanks, Bruno. Trip is only next week.
I also left Sterling as captain with -4 hit. Just need TAA to shine.
All the best for GW5 and wishing you big green arrows✅👍

My Team:
Button Ryan
AWB PVA Digne Lundstram Pieters
Mane Sterling KDB Mount Ceballos
Wickham Rashford Pukki
I’m in a terrible quandry, 1 free Transfer.
Opt 1: No Changes
Opt 2: -4 AWB to Liverpool Defender or Kyle Walker and Rashford out for Abraham or Vardy depending on price.
Opt 2: -4 Mount to budget and Rashford out for Kane or Auba
Opt 3: -8 Mount to James and Rashford for Kane or Auba and AWB for a Soyuncu
Opt 4: -4 AWB to Buget and Auba or Kane
OPT 5: -8 AWB to Walker, Mount to budget and Rashford to Auba
My gut tells me to get rid of Man United players , after I gambled on them with my wild card
I think Arsenal have some favorable fixtures, with Lacazette seemingly out Auba will be up top in his best position.
With Kyle Walker dropped by England in the recent internationals, he surely will be less likely from rotation with the defensive issues they have with laporte.
Decisions, Decisions, Decisions….
Remind me why we play this game again, it cant be for fun..surely..haha

Hi. I can speak for my plan, and I’ve sold AWB for VVD for Liverpool defensive cover. Leaning toward Option 2.
Agree with you on Arsenal’s potential, it’s their away form that can sometimes be less consistent. But worth keeping an eye on for the reasons you mentioned.

Hi Bruno
I took the plunge and kicked Firmino! Glad to see he’s been benched!
I downgraded TAA to VVD and brought in Aubameyang, so I’m hoping it was worth the hit.
I cant but help notice, you have 8 players on the pitch the same as me. Only differences are Zinchenko, Aubameyang, and Guendouzi.
Good luck with your picks 🙂

I saved my FT for next week and I am happy for Mane and Robertson. Now I did 2 FT Abraham in – Barnes out, De Bruyne in – Salah out. Will play with Robertson on bench.
No more without Abraham, he is beast! Salah out is risky play, but I think Mane is in better form now and there will be some -1 point for conceded goals. Hope so Mount make some points too (just missed net now :D).
And again I will safe my FT, because LFC will has after next 3 GW pretty tought schedule in 4 weeks, so I will without LFC defs and this will need some 2 players moves.

Hi. Liking the move for De Bruyne. I can understand the concern selling Salah, he and Mane could take turns scoring points.
Mount has a tricky one next, but he and Chelsea have good attacking potential.
Nice plan, good luck!

Ouch! Only transferred out mane and wan bissaka myself too good few days ago for KDB and Trent. That hurt! Seems we both should of trusted our instincts and kept faith.
Abraham done well for me but unlike you pukki was my 1st bencher when my gut kept telling me put him in instead of Lundstram but i decided to keep faith with Lundstrum thinking if pukki did get 1 attacking return, Lundstrum could get clean sheet and possibly attacking return also so Lundstrum had 2 chances as i couldnt see Pukki getting 2 attacking returns..well, that backfired!
I wouldn’t mind but i even thought pep possibly could bench KDB. To be honest, I’m glad it backfired for pep benching KDB. It’s so difficult at times to choose who to captain between salah and sterling. Again, Sterling blanks and it’s not good enough!
To be honest Bruno…there is very little clean sheets happening and I’m really feeling we need to stick with mane and salah more so than Steriing and KDB. Our defences are letting us down very badly. You had 8 starters same as me but damn man, it’s very difficult to know where to go from here.
P.s. I’m not sure about your thinking of buying a premium forward but it’s everybody for themselves i guess 😉

Hi. The instinct was to buy KDB and it was the right decision. The result didn’t work out, but no one could’ve planned for Guardiola benching their most in-form midfielder. As you said, Pep learned a harsh lesson.
Some things are out of our control, and it will turn around very soon don’t worry. 👍
I’m working on a new video to explain everything going forward. Should be out Monday, thanks.
