Hey. Taking some chances in key areas could give you an advantage. James and Adams have great scoring potential for their price, smart to have a backup plan just in case.

Yes. The main reason is my past experience with different start-of-season strategies. I used to take punts at the start and it let me down nearly every time. For the past 3-4 seasons, I’ve gone safer with success.
Not to say it can’t work to take chances GW1. Long season with plenty of time to take chances with unique picks. 🙂

Another swap that I’d make is Ramsdale for McCarthy, and KWP for Egan..
reason being not sure you’d have a 4.5 GK as a set and forget option. & a 4.5 defender can be a rotation with other 4.5 defender, depending on fixtures.

After today I’m heavily considering to take a -4. Son & Ings OUT for Bruno Fernandes & DCL. Every year, I blame myself to be too passive in the start of the season. But still, I wanne be loyal to the players i pickef for GW 1. Is this a harsh move? What are your thoughts on this?

Hi. Know what you mean. I’ve been thinking about it and I’m undecided.
Will United will be at full strength? Greenwood and Pogba could miss out which could lower their chances. DCL is a great option with Everton’s new attack.
I’m leaning toward taking another day to think it over even though the prices are set to change soon. If they do and I get priced out, I’d be ok giving Son and Ings another chance to bounce back.
I can make a decision with more confidence using 2FTs GW3, but trust your instinct as I have doubts over these players for GW2.

Hi Bruno, pleased with 79 points this week. Vardy Capt, but also good points from Salah, Auba, Justin,Van Dijk. Thinking of making a transfer early as I only have just enough $$ to make these changes. What do you think of below – which would you rank best choice. I’m thinking of (1) probably as Spurs did not look good.
1)Son to Rashford
2)Ings to Martial
3) Son to Greenwood, with spare $$ left for upgrades in week 3 (Chelsea possibly and/or Auba to KDB).
GW2 team is McCarthy, (Nyland)
Van Dijk, Justin, Ayling (Walker-Peters, Branthwaite)
Auba, Salah, Son, Soucek (Stephens)
Vardy, Ings, Nketiah

Hi Davina. Congrats on the big score! Yes, Spurs were disappointing.
I can add a note to Option 3. Greenwood is a doubt for GW2 after breaking COVID protocol, and he may have done something else off the pitch that could cost him a start if Ole punishes him. Keep an eye on official team news to see if he’s available.
The others are so close. It’s hard to predict at this moment without seeing United play, and it wouldn’t be the worst to keep both Son and Ings despite their blanks. They have favorable fixtures GW2, assuming they can bounce back.
Those are the thoughts for now.

Salah Auba captaincy hockey pockey also went the wrong way but hey it s just one gw, glad i still have those right calls in me 😀

Hi. Same here. An Ok start, the 50/50 captaincy decision went the other way this time.
Leaning toward D after having more information from another round. I don’t know how United will line up, Pogba and Greenwood could miss out.
I’m taking another day to think for my own team. Might give these players another chance to prove their worth.
