Fantasy Strategy.
Short-term approach to navigate the fixture changes:
“Take it game by game making adjustments as needed”
The idea is to avoid planning too far in advance because things are changing quickly. Once I reach the Blank and Double Gameweeks, then I’ll make more aggressive moves to target them. But it will be closer to the respective deadlines.
GW17 Review.
GW17 points: 70PTS (AVG: 56). Upper 90 Studios climbed to 150k in the Overall Rank!
The Results.
James Justin (1PT). Transferred in last week with an eye on DGW19. Justin was minutes away from the clean sheet when he was booked for a clumsy foul. Leicester conceded from the resulting free kick, one point! To rub salt in the wounds, Justin scored and assisted in the Cup game midweek. ❌
Captain Success.
Harry Kane (24PTS, captain). Goal for his new baby plus an assist and maximum bonus. 👍
Stuart Dallas (1PT). Unsung hero of GW17, allowing Son all the space in behind to score from Kane’s cross. He can’t do wrong in my eyes. 😍

Hi. I was originally looking at Fabianski in goal, but not now with the injury risk. Mendy is a sneaky choice that could work.
Defense is well set, MCI cover, with savings in mind for the attack which is perfect. 💯 Lowton could be the only position to consider other options, but they’re limited anyway and Lowton is a decent short-term gamble on a FH.
It’s hard to improve it with the funds available. 👍

Hi Bruno
Firstly, a belated Happy New Year and l hope you and your family are safe and well and good to see your going well in FF.
It’s been awhile since l last sent in a post and l have gradually clawed my way back standing at 2.6M GW7 and using my FH this GW scoring 53pts now stand at 600k.
l have been setting my squad to play the BB for GW19 but with the news of Leeds/Southampton DGW not happening, l have Dallas, Bamford and Adams l need to rethink this and with all the current uncertainty l will probably save this chip for the next DGW26 and WC in GW24/25 which is all tbc?
Below is my current squad – ITB £0.3
Martinez* – (Forster)
Cancelo* / Coufal* / Dallas – (Taylor*/PVA)
Fernandes* / Salah* / Grealish* / Son / Soucek*
Vardy* / Bamford – (Adams)
So currently l have 9 DGW and my plan is to play a 3-5-2 and l think l really need more Man City assets and KDB is at the front of my mind as l sold him GW16 for Son with a view to get him back, not only for the DGW but for the following 3 GW’s at least.
So who will make way……..
The only real way to get KDB in and with out ripping my squad apart going forward is to sell Son, it’s a difficult one as he and Kane have really hurt me, but l believe KDB will out score him over the next 4 GW’s (he said fingers crossed).
This also means Adams > Brewster as at least he does get some minutes, this leaves me -0.3 short, so PVA who was a punt over Xmas which didn’t pay off has to go, so out of Justin / James /Shaw (as a side note even as a United fan l have never really rated Shaw and my son used to play against him at school level and gave him a torrid game ha!). These3 moves will be a -8pts but should be worth it not only for the for the DGW but for the next few weeks.
l could go with Stones but Aguero should be back GW20 and plan to get him in as a gamble to make up some ground with a punt, as Vardy appears to be managing an on going hip injury though l see today the yellow flag has come off so he is a good option for the DGW, we will see.

Just a few seconds ago, the smallest rumors began popping up on Twitter that Leeds vs. Southampton could be back on DGW19. If so, that might add another twist to the plans and BB becomes an option again for your team. I sold Adams…
I can understand the move for KDB. I wasn’t super confident captaining anyone but him, so I took a -12 hit to bring him in while keeping all the other premium players. It meant selling Robertson and Grealish in my case. Dropping Son for KDB was my original plan. Not an easy decision to drop Son, but I can understand it if there is no other way without deep cuts to other positions.

No issues with your future plan. All makes sense. The game really needs Aguero to add some spice back into it!
I might say to research the latest with Leeds vs. Southampton if you still haven’t made the transfers. Then adjust from there.
