With a goal from Hulk and help from Kaka and Neymar, Brazil defeated Costa Rica 1-0 in an international friendly match held at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey.
The September 5, 2015 match commemorated Dunga’s 1-year anniversary in charge of Seleção Brasileira. On Tuesday, Brazil will take on the U.S. Men’s National Team at Gillette Stadium in Boston.

The two international friendly matches will give Dunga a chance to experiment with the attack as Neymar carries a 2-match suspension into the World Cup qualifiers.
Hulk opened the scoring nine minutes in with a run down the right. He cut back into the box, lost his footing but recovered well to muscle Gonzalez off the ball and drive his shot past the keeper.
At the other end, goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe was hardly tested. Costa Rica’s best chance came in the second half from their number 10, Bryan Ruiz. Ruiz beat David Luiz’s offside trap and buried his shot into the goal, but was incorrectly ruled offside.
Hulk got on the score sheet, but the fans paid to see Neymar. They got the chance with ten minutes to go. Neymar’s introduction instantly sparked what was an otherwise stale attacking display from Brazil.
