I have BB and FH chips left so with this in mind what strategy would you suggest which suits best in my situation and pls comment why:
a. use FH and load up with DGW and few SGW players to take advantage of Double game Week? is my current team good enough for gw 31+?
b. use unlimited transfers try to get good combo of DGW and SGW players and push BB? issue with this strategy i may be losing Salah, TAA and even Bruno whom im a bit relactant to lose for games to come plus TV on them
c. any other suggestions you may have at this point

Hey buddy. It’s been a while!
a. Yes, this is a top option to stack up as there are no other DGWs remaining. Seems strong overall. Depending on their performances, you might tighten it up with Lundstram for a cheap defender and Rashford. Still early to plan without watching any games… Salah didn’t take part in a friendly on Thursday, need more info. Hopefully he’ll be set for GW31 or sooner.
b. Losing value on Salah and Bruno and other key players is a major factor, especially if we can’t get them back at a higher price.
c. Working on something today (Friday). Hopefully I can have it up for this weekend, or first thing Monday.

Some Topical Issues To Consider:
1) GW30+ chip strategy is key- Unlimited transfers vs Freehit.
2)Which single week players are must haves(whether freehitting or not).
3)The impact of the change in matches….empty stadiums, so not really much home advantage, 5 substitutions and match fitness with fixture congestion how will this change matches
4) Key returning players form…..I can think of Kane, Pogba, Rashford, Laporte, Sane
It would be interesting to get your views on the above.

Hi. Yes, it’s coming up quickly now!
1) I took down some notes today on all the chip options for GW30+/GW31+. Nearly settled on the chip strategy for the relaunch, assuming we have no other surprises with player availability (Salah and Robertson didn’t feature on Thursday).
2) TAA, Salah/Mane. Probably a few others as well… Liverpool have to win the title in the next few games or risk another suspension postponing it.
3) We’ll have to adjust as we get new data. Home advantage will probably be affected as we saw in the Bundesliga. Imagine giving Guardiola 5 substitutions? 🙂
4) That’s super important when deciding whether to use the Wildcard early on without seeing how these players are settling back in.
Maybe I can piece something together to share this weekend, Monday morning at the latest. Appreciate all the great talking points. 👍

Something to keep in mind, Sheffield United play Man United in the 2nd GW after restart, with Dean Henderson unlikely to be able to play against his parent club.
Loan in the process of being extended to end of season.

Look forward to your video. Would you have any words of advice for someone who is over 100 points behind but does have all chips bar TC and WC and is playing against players who have used one or both of them.
I plan on going with Sterling (C) . How would you approach such situations? I can’t admit defeat yet although it’s a long road from here

The most important thing is to be patient. There’s a long way to go with many unknowns. We can exchange ideas to be stronger as a team.
I’m not sure yet on the captaincy for my own team, so it’s difficult to point you in a set direction. I can tell you that I am leaning toward the FH chip for my team despite having unlimited transfers. One reason is I want to keep the majority of my current players for GW31.

The important thing is that you have a strong team overall.
That’s a tough one! I don’t know what Guardiola has in mind for rotation with 5 subs, so it’s even more difficult to assess Sterling. Aguero is on a different level in that he doesn’t need many games or playing time to score.
Targett is ok. I struggled to sneak in a cheap DGW defender on my drafts (including BB) and opted for premium defenders with a single game GW30. I don’t know what to make of Saka after the last few performances in which he disappointed. That was a while ago to be fair…
Is Laporte 100% fit? I remember him missing games before the league was suspended. Similar question over McGinn who could be back from a serious injury.
Bruno Fernandes just scored a penalty yesterday with both Pogba and Rashford on the pitch. Barnes is excellent at his price range.
Without concrete info on the fitness status of these players, and other questions, I’m really struggling to answer this one. Maybe the smallest edge to the Fernandes option as long we have more info on the other players.

Good to hear that you and your family are safe and well. NZ COVID- free….for now, and Eddie had his 1st football match last night. We can’t wait for the Premier League to start again. Please would you comment on my team below. I’m toying with swapping Barnes or Traore for Baldock or McGinn, to get another DGW player. Selling Barnes for Baldock would give me enough funds to swap Rashford for Vardy possibly – this or next week. Hard to know what form players have. Will play BB this week. Thanks Davina

No major issue dropping Traore because of the recent injury issues. Barnes is great for his price range and could be even better with a fit Vardy. I don’t have a recent injury update on McGinn, still trying to catch up on all the news.
Wish you could bump Baldock to Stevens, but I can understand if it’s a move that also frees up funds. Keep Fleck also in mind. I prefer him over a third SHU defensive player GW30. Traore to Fleck?
I’m actually considering getting Rashford GW31 🙂 The prospect of Fernandes feeding him that final pass is interesting. That’s a close call between Rashford and Vardy, I’d like to see at least one game back before deciding, but it’s your call on this one.
