Currently on -4. Im not sure if i should be worried at this stage with no salah son kane. I feel the sample size is too small. Im thinking of antonio for gw8 or maybe upgrade jimi for kane or aguero gw6 or gw7. I feel my team is at risk but i had fun as i dun have as much premium plus FPL is unpredictable nowadays. Hi! I had a boost of confidence after the big score, but we know how quickly things change! Hard to predict what could happen and now we have midweek European games to come.
I like your squad structure, balance and bench depth.
GK+DEF should be ok. Mids are good overall. Zaha can be hot or cold, Barnes started well and needs to keep it up.
Your forwards are well set, not easy…
I might say that Son could be a target, especially if you’re concerned about not having some Spurs cover. Son provides a value option.
It could require sacrificing one of the more inconsistent mids. KDB and Rodriguez should be ok to keep.
It depends on how strong you can maintain the starting XI by bringing in Son without selling a premium player.

Hi Bruno! Regarding the next fixture diffuculty sheet. Would it be possible to change the middle fixture color (orange) so that is does not blend with the top fixture color (red) ? Yellow or grey maybe?

Really liking KDB (knock?), possibly Grealish on Draft 2, but the defense feels a bit risky. To be fair, defenders aren’t delivering overall.
But the team structure on Draft 1 could be more flexible for future adjustments. For example, you could change Robertson in one move because of his price. Same with the forwards and most mids. Draft 2 could be trickier with flexibility, as in a change to 3 forwards would require multiple moves.
No real options for Kilman.
Leaning toward building from Draft 1, but I’d need more time to think through all positions. I don’t have a good assessment of Bellerin. Draft 1 attackers are exciting. 👍

It’s difficult without seeing the whole team. The timing may not work out straight away, Werner has a favorable fixture this week, but Son with DCL is a strong combination that could deliver solid returns over time.

Hi. KDB is confirmed out for GW5 which gives another option for Son. With KDB out, even more managers will move for Spurs attackers with the extra funds.

Thanks! 62 is well above the average. 👍 Captain picks are making a difference this season, hard to predict who will score next.
I might consider waiting until closer to deadline so we have all the info from the press conferences. Imagine if Podence is cleared to play and other players in your team are suddenly ruled out?
The positive for Podence is Wolves have a run of fixtures against weaker defenses. It could work to have some attack cover. The concern is they haven’t been at their best offensively, so keep your options open in case you need to make a change.

back three:AAD, Tierney and Mitchell
Midflield:soucek, de Bruyne, Son and Foden
Front three: Kane, Jimenez and Ings.
I really want to get salah in my team and I was also thinking about Rodriguez and Calvert lewin. But since i have both Son and Kane already It makes things difficult. Any time to you take out to answer this question is much appreciated. Thanks brother

Hi. Thank you 👍 Yes, that’s a nightmare decision! How do you drop Kane, and Salah is so consistent. I would not be able to predict who could score more points GW5, Salah or Kane.
This might be one of those decisions that you just have to choose one, then have a backup plan ready in case you need to change it. With this plan, be sure to leave enough funds ITB for a future swap.
Foden could be a rotation risk now that Gundogan, Bernardo and Aguero are back. Gabriel Jesus still to come as well.
Soucek actually provides good threat for his price, although on a Wildcard many are taking a chance on the cheaper Brewster to sneak in the extra £. This would take away the option of selecting 3 proven forwards…
Son provides value for his scoring potential and a way into Spurs attack. If I had to build a team with just one, I might prefer Son because of the value he offers to strengthen other positions.
The players you mentioned that I rate are Son, Kane, KDB (if his injury isn’t serious), possibly Jimenez and Soucek. I might prefer a long-term team with Rodriguez and DCL over the others, although the timing is tricky GW5 as Everton play Liverpool. Not that they can’t score, just that it’s harder to predict.
The main decision could be Kane vs. Salah. Possibly KDB as well depending on his injury status. Need an update from training or the press conference. We really need updates on all players because so many are carrying knocks and who knows how the Covid tests will turn out after all the traveling with the national teams.

Great job with a top top score. Very happy for you. Me on the other hand an very average gw with 46 points. KDB captained blanked and not having son and hamez really cost me. I have wildcarded to fix some of my team issues. Below is a draft i am leaning towards and need your inputs and feedback

Salah, KDB, Son, Grealish (Bissouma)
Kane, DCL, Brewster
What do you think about starting brewster? This is basically the only way i can have double spurs attack with salah, kdb and a liverpool defender. I could rotate him with my 4.5 defender or even bissouma if needed.
Or do you think downgrading Kane to someone like Antonio would be a better idea since i can use that fund to upgrade brewster? Also, i picked semedo as my 5.5 defender. Is he a better pick than chilwell or regulion? Let me know you thoughts!

The timing feels right to choose Brewster. I’m not sure if he’s a guaranteed starter once others return from injury. Sheffield United haven’t been great offensively, but they fight every game and we don’t know how Brewster could improve their attack.
I like the rotation system with a 4.5 defender. Bissouma is more of a 2-3 point player, but I wouldn’t mind if he continued to deliver returns. 🙂
If I was on a Wildcard, I’d most likely choose Kane based on recent form. Antonio with more balance is another quality option. Still working out those forward spots for my own team and it’s not easy.
I don’t have a great assessment of Semedo and Reguilon just yet, trust your instinct. Chilwell does have a factor in his favor in that he’s proven in the league. Need an update from Lampard to be sure he’s fully-fit.

took a minus 8 ! last gameweek , did transfers on the 2 transfers on the day before deadline – Saint Maximin and Werner for Barnes & Jimenez ( so disappointed in his 2 points vs Fulham!) so that made it -4 then i see mane was out vs villa he was my capt choice. so i sold him for sterling ended up on 51 (-8) so 43. not very happy with this i took a break over the int break and opened up the fpl site today and see i had price drops and red flags ! so depressing after a 8 point hit to have 3 doubts and 2 red flags.
in short should i wildcard considering i have all these doubts but i have 2 days and im not in a relaxed mind frame im afraid if i wait more then ill loose more team value ,

Ola. That’s frustrating with the red flags. It is common for players to fake injury while on international duty. I would be curious to know the percentage of players who missed out or pulled out from the IB and suddenly play GW5.
I’m not so happy with Jimenez either. Not sure why Nuno continues to bench Traore. Jimenez with Traore is unstoppable.

You already have a premium Spurs attacker to cover against Wildcarders with both Son and Kane. You might be able to touch up the final starting defender position. Also look at Aston Villa attackers Grealish Barkley as alternatives for the cheaper mids. I might prefer DCL up top, but I’m afraid to suggest him for your team because Richarlison has a high points ceiling.
This season is so hard to predict. Your current team could be ready as is. It feels like every player we sell scores, if we buy him, he blanks!
1-3 possible tweaks, either now or spread over a few rounds, could get it feeling better based on the info we have at this stage. Up to you to take a -4 or -8 after a tough score though. I’ve taken -8 even -12 hits to jumpstart the season before. Then there’s the Wildcard which is there if you want to fix it all in one shot.
It’s difficult to suggest which approach to take because anything can happen GW5. I can give you my thoughts on the players and possible alternatives.
Keep plugging away at it. Think of which players make you excited to watch them this weekend. If it fails, at least you trusted your instinct. Thanks!

Minor note that Mitchell’s time could be up as PVA announced he’s back. I don’t know of a better alternative at the moment, other than a non-playing £3.9m defender to squeeze out another £0.2m for the bank. This is up to you. I’m afraid to say drop Mitchell, then he keeps his place!
Need an update on KDB from training or the press conference. He’s a top pick if he plays, even better if Aguero is also fit. Keep an eye on Ayling and Dallas as alternatives for Lamptey depending on performances.

Hey! Excellent team. Quick note that Mitchell may lose his place as PVA announced he’s back. I’d hate to suggest you drop Mitchell then he keeps his place, so it’s up to you! You could consider a £3.9m defender in that spot to squeeze out all the funds for other positions.
Werner could be interesting as Chelsea get key attackers back from injury, it’s not easy. On a Wildcard, it’s difficult to pass up on a move for Kane. GW5 could be tricky for Spurs, but Kane has a high ceiling and can score against any team.
