I’m not seeing an easy way with the premium players already selected. We have to make a compromise to achieve the best balance. One way could be drafting a £4.5m attacker into your starting XI, possibly Dendoncker. But it will be difficult without making a cut with at least one of the players you’re set on. Nightmare to choose which to cut.

Hi. It’s a big decision whether to go with or without Salah. Same with Sterling who I would suggest choosing over Aguero at the start.
One reason is ownership with strong FPL managers. If they captain Salah GW1 and he scores big while you went a different route, you could risk falling behind in the rankings early on.
Zinchenko might be a way to get Man City cover and freeing up funds for an improvement in another area. Need to see if he is nailed-on and starting in the Community Shield.
I have the same question on my own team over Ake, and no final decision yet. He is an interesting player that keeps making my drafts.
For my start-of-season strategy, I’m looking at avoiding players from newly-promoted teams, investing instead on players I know already delivered big points last season. But taking a calculated risk can also work.
I’m currently toying with the idea of less forwards, cutting out Jimenez who has Europa League distractions.
The defense is well set. Maddison is a good pick. The attack has the right teams, but you could consider alternative players from those teams. With a few changes, another idea might fit Salah in for Mane, plus Sterling or KDB in the middle. Try using players like Wilson, King, Zaha, in different combinations to see what you come up with.

Leaning toward Sterling. But you can also keep an eye on Zinchenko. Need to research whether he is 100% nailed-on at LB while Mendy is out injured. Also, the Community Shield might give us more clues as to who Guardiola trusts in that position.

Hi. Our fixture cheatsheet shows difficult fixtures for Burnley at the start, so I’m thinking of avoiding their players in the beginning. I like your idea with Digne, he’ll be one of the highest-owned defenders with strong FPL managers.
It’s a strong team. Just that decision with Sterling vs. Aguero, but if Aguero returns in time to be fully-fit for the new season, he’s a top pick. 👍

Dilemma,
I’ve got Tarkowski in defence and grealish in mid (he’s gonna be on bench)
Should I swap Tarkowski for Digne and Grealish for Jorginho (also will be on bench)?
However burnley tend to keep a lot of clean sheets and Everton are away in GW1. Maybe I should just keep It as it was originally?

Excellent team. Perfect balance, good selection of safe premium players and a few original picks mixed in.
I’m choosing TAA over Robertson on my most recent drafts. Moura should deliver while Son is out.
The only question is whether to start without a Man city attacker. I’m leaning toward Sterling over Kane or Aubameyang, but I wouldn’t want to face a team with Auba (or Kane). The extra £1m is a another factor that forces more cuts to the depth of the team.
Hard to improve it. 👍
