Hey Bruno, thank you for the amazing content as always! I really admire your work.
It will mean a lot to me if I can get your thoughts on two players that I’m debating on whether I should give them a chance in my team. First player is Jorginho. Budget midfield option and he is currently taking the penalties in the team. I think he has an eye for the pass and a good understanding of the game which can lead to assists. Second is Jamie Vardy. I just feel he can score against any team no matter how much time he gets on the pitch and considering he is not so heavily owned can be a sort of a differential.
Wish you good luck on the wildcard and big green arrows in GW7.

Hey what’s up. Thanks, I appreciate it.
Jorginho is proving to be decent value into a strong Chelsea attack. I misjudged him earlier in the season when I thought he might rely mostly on penalties. He can also find the runs from Werner and Pulisic in the channels as you mentioned.
Vardy is harder to assess. He has one of the highest points ceilings, but I’m not sure if he’s been playing with one of those niggling injuries that has to be managed. If he can carry through a few games without a problem, it could work as he’s fixture-proof.
Jorginho played today, 4-0 win. Leicester play in the Europa League on Thursday, so it could be worth waiting to have all the information.
Thanks, you too! 👍

Hi Bruno, excited to see the final WC team. Good Luck
Im sitting on 2FT and 0.8 itb, absolutely no idea what to do. Any thoughts?
Current team:
Martinez Steer

Bruno Son Salah JRod Klich
Kane Wilson Brewster
Thanks!!

Hi. Thank you. The backline is looking solid overall. I was surprised that Mourinho rotated the fullbacks in the league. I might mention Dallas as a nailed option with attack potential for Leeds and less commitments in other competitions compared to Spurs.
Need an update on JRod.
I don’t have a great assessment of Newcastle’s attack. I was focusing more on their defense last game because I had Jimenez! Che Adams and Bamford are alternatives to keep in mind, but that’s optional. (EDIT: Ings if you can swing the funds…)
Those are the three positions I might highlight. No changes required at this moment. Thanks!

Great content as always. Just a question. Not considering Zaha in that WC team?
Upper 90 Studios
28/10/20
Thank you. There are a few players that have never quite worked for my team in the past. Zaha is one of them. 🙂 I never seem to get the timing right, but it doesn’t mean he can’t come through for others.
When he’s in top form as he has been this season, it could work well. Palace’s attacks almost always end up with Zaha involved, goals or assists. Trust your instinct.

Hi Bruno,
First I’d like to thank you for your reply, really appreciate it. I’ve sacrificed a free transfer already, not sure whether or not was that a clever move Lascelles -> Kilman (+0.3 to the budget). In addition, I’ve watched today’s Chelsea match against Krasnodar (4:0), a 4th time Mendy has scored a CS, James got benched. Although Werner has scored (a penalty and it was only after Jorginho was ruled out), I’m still not that convinced about the Chelsea’s attacking potential. Therefore I feel a Chelsea defender would be my another transfer causing a -4pts (Chilwell/James). Taking Ings for Maupay (according to what you recommended) would cause a -8pts, thus I’d like to hear your thoughts is it worth such a risk, or should I stick to just one of them (forward or defender)?
Here’s the probable lineup for GW7 (-8):
Mendy
Kilman, Robertson, [Chilwell/James]
Klich, Barkley, Mane (V), Son (C)
[Ings], Bamford, Kane
Bench: Mitchel, Dunne, “Hamez”

Hi. It seems harsh for Kilman to be dropped after recent performances. The small risk is there are 3 players vying for two spots on the left side: Kilman, Saiss, Marçal. It’s possible Kilman could keep his place at LCB and Marçal replaces Saiss on the wing.
For the defender spot, leaning toward Chilwell until James cements his place as a starter. The -4 hit seems fair to take advantage of a favorable run of fixtures with a high-ceiling Chelsea defender.
The forward change is more difficult after watching Spurs lose in the Europa League just now. Mourinho made 4 attacking changes at halftime which left them exposed defensively. It would be easier without hits, but I can also understand the idea. Southampton are playing with purpose and scoring goals.
I took one -8 hit already this season and it resulted in red arrows the very next round, then back-to-back 83 points. If you end up going for it with a big hit, don’t put too much pressure on it paying off in the very next Gameweek. Although you might feel more excited with the new players. Up to you. 🙂

I’ve heard of the result but didn’t watch the game (Poznan played against the Rangers). This would give a potential chance for Maupay to score if Tottenham displayed what you said. I’m torn since I’d like to return to Werner (sold him before Southampton) given the promising fixtures for the three consecutive weeks, however, Burnley played a tough game against the Spurs, and I believe Lampard should expect a similar approach from the hosts. In addition, he has said a word or two about “squad rotation” at the press conference, so Chilwell seems easier to pick than James. Even at 1:0 win for Chelsea, a defender may produce a similar output of 6pts due to the CS (plus another 6 for Mendy). I think I’ll make just a -4 move and wonder what to do next week. So much thinking and uncertainties 🙁

Your thoughts on the players and teams are spot on. The -4 is reasonable to start working toward the ideal team in your mind.

Hi bruno,
Good to see you are doing well this season. However I’m doing so well myself, I’ve fallen way behind my mini league
My team as follow:

Hi bruno,
Good to see you are doing well this season. However I’m doing so well myself, I’ve fallen way behind my mini league
My team as follow:
Martinez (steer)
TAA, Saiss, dallas, lamptey
Son, salah, pullisic, grealish
Wilson, dcl, maupay
I have 2 ft and 3.7m itb
I was saving to bring in kdb to swap with pullisic.
Looking forward to your advice what I should do. It seem whichever player I transfer out will somehow score a brace next week.
Thanks in advance

Hi. Thank you. This season has been the worst with players sold suddenly scoring the next game.
KDB is a great option. City are still without a striker but it doesn’t mean he can’t deliver returns. They won midweek in the Champions League with KDB involved.
I might also suggest a gamble on Rashford who might play central while Martial is out (unless Cavani starts). Rashford scored a hat-trick and earned a penalty as a sub on Wednesday. There might also be a possible move for Ings up top depending on funds.
I’m struggling to pick out the player to cut (Wilson vs. Maupay) with how unpredictable this season has been.
I feel the same as you, but I’ve been luckier with scores. Those are some thoughts for now.

Ola Bruno,
I just want you thank you for always responding to every comment and suggesting your thoughts. That must take lot of time on your end and that’s really appreciated. Almost feel like i know you personally from all these interactions 🙂
Wildcard time huh. That must be exciting. Catching price rises and selling players is my favorite thing to do in wildcard also. I see you already have great picks in your current draft. I myself had an very average gw with 46 points. I have 2 free transfers for this gw but i have absolutely no idea what i can change. I need your second thoughts on where i can use my transfers on.
Martinez (Steer)
Robbo,Chilwell, Dallas, KWP (Branthwaite)
Salah, Sterling, Son, Grealish (Bissouma)
Kane, DCL (Brewster)
I have 0 in the bank. If i had extra money, i could have used that to upgrade Branthwhite to Kilman.
Other than that, i am not sure where i can burn my transfer. Please suggest your thoughts!
Thank you as always!

Ola. Thank you. It does take time, but I love it. 👍 There are friends on here that have been in touch for 7 years or more. I just checked and there are over 15k total comments on the website. Half could be my replies! 🙂
Just finished watching Spurs lose in the Europa League… not ideal before this weekend, but maybe we’ll see a good response from the players.
Wow that’s a tough one! You might not be able to use the FT this week. Maybe it’s one of those good problems to have. Branthwaite is ok in the final position to unlock maximum funds.
I’m completely stumped. Your team is set for GW7.
Thanks for the great comment!

Hi again Bruno! Got two Qs for ya:
1. Would you do Maupay to Bamford/Adams (pls advise for free) or save FT?
2. Who d you put C on:
a. Mo
b. Son
c. Kane
d. Bruno – I kinda like this choice could be a great differential
thx and GL

Hi. 1. Don’t know at this moment. I’m leaving it until late to decide whether to move for Adams for my team. I’m currently on Bamford and Leicester conceded today in the Europa League.
2. On the video I said I usually stick with the early captaincy, but it’s definitely not a rule.
a. West Ham and David Moyes can surprise teams. Fabinho’s injury could mean Henderson dropping to CB? If this happens and Thiago is out, I’m not sure how that affects their transition from defense to attack. If Antonio is out, Liverpool might have more freedom to attack, or will West Ham sit deep with men behind the ball? Unknowns.
b and c. Spurs lost today. Son and Kane came on in the second half and pushed hard with a few attempts in the box that were well blocked. Overall, Spurs didn’t play well. Hopefully we’ll see a response from the players GW7.
d. I like this. Rashford’s hat-trick opened my eyes to it yesterday, then Spurs lost the next day. If you go for Bruno, I’ll go for Rashford? 🙂
Currently on Kane captain, Mo vice but it’s not as concrete as last week. Waiting for more info from Friday’s press conference before deciding.

Olá Bruno
Soon as I can , I’ll see the rest of the video .
I’ve made 41(-4) and droped 200k to 460k 🙁
Second red of the season . Specialy becausa I’ve captained Salah !
I’ve transfered out Digne for Zouma . The “Twitter experts” are talking about Chilweel so I’m going with Zouma .
Looking forward to finish your video . I’ m tempted to go back to Ings too 👊
Boa sorte !

Olá. Salah was unlucky not to score. Small gaps between the ranks the way this season has gone and you can bounce right back up.
Moving for a Chelsea defensive player is a reasonable plan to take advantage of a tactical change and fixtures. I may go for two… 🙂
Southampton are fun to watch and I hope they continue. Hope you like it and boa sorte!

Hi Bruno,
Disaster week for mee right after wildcarding.
I earned 36points with Salah(C)
Digne got a red and I moved him out for Chillwell.
Here’s my team for Gw7
Gk: Martinez
D: Robbo, Chillwell, Saiss, Kilman
M: Son, Salah, Grealish, JRG
F: DCL, Kane
Sub: Forster, Maupay, Struijk, Bissouma
1. Should I start Maupay for Kilman?
2. Who do you reckon as Captain this week?
Mine is currently on Kane.
Wish you massive haul and green arrows with ur wilcard.
Thanks…

Hi. Salah was a top captain pick. Frustrating with Digne and I can understand the swap. I like Chelsea’s clean sheet potential with their recent shape and Mendy in goal. Plus fixtures.
1. Leaning toward the way you’ve set it. Wolves defense has been difficult to break down. They might’ve played with 8 defensive players in the last two games if we include the GK.
2. Mine is currently set on Kane c, Salah vc. But I’m not as confident as last week after seeing Spurs lose in the Europa League. Kane and son added a spark once they came on as subs, but it wasn’t enough.
Leaving it until after the press conferences on Friday before making a final decision.
You too! -Bruno

Hi Bruno
I hope you are well.
Talksport and Daily Mail have reported Antonio out four 4- 6 weeks. Any official news or is he really out?.
Sterling captain this week for me!- set at beginning of week😉
Nice timing with the wildcard.
Cheers.

Hi. Liking your idea with Sterling! Might pass on captaining Kane and Salah as well.
Nothing official on how long Antonio will be out, but Moyes said it’s not too serious. Could be anything between one game or a return after the international break.
