***UPDATE: ***Late rumors that Vardy could be out!*** This could change the transfer plan. Whether true or not, I’ve already made a switch on the vice-captaincy, from Vardy to TAA.
Sorry guys, not enough time to post the final team before the decision. There were seconds left before deadline. Had to go through as many factors as possible and future team drafts with different Vardy replacements. I narrowed it down to Jota and DCL. After confirmation on Vardy from @FPL_Rockstar on Twitter, I went for DCL. Horrible feeling holding Vardy through his slump, then he’s out for Norwich.
Previous updates: One transfer confirmed, Button out for Pope. Considering an extra move before deadline, but I might prefer to roll the 2FTs as we push closer to a big blank GW31 (EDIT: The extra move did not involve Vardy!). Interesting transfers. What’s your plan for navigating GW31 or are you not thinking too much about it until the FA Cup fixtures?
Great videos really love your content. It’s different to everyone else in the Fantasy Football community.
I have 2FTs and 0 in the bank. 0.1 short of Rico to Taylor.
Kind of want Enda Stevens for the Norwich fixture next week.
So thinking maybe Grealish and Rico out for Cantwell (likely GW31 fixture) and Doherty or Taylor.
Or I just lose Stevens and get in Taylor/Swiss

Hi. No set plans yet with GW31 and the chips. Staying flexible and waiting for the official announcements with the rescheduling as they could come in the next week or so.

Can understand the idea keeping Stevens for two green fixtures after the blank. If we get an update that he’s out for a while, calf injuries can be difficult to heal, then the straightforward move for Taylor makes sense.
Otherwise, you could make the move with Grealish as he has a blank now, then a tough one GW29.

Very informative content once again. I really enjoy watching these. Looks like you are pretty set for gw28. I have not decided on my approach yet and would love your thoughts. Below is my current team for gw28 with 1 transfer and 2.0 in the bank
McCarthy
TAA, Gomez, Lascelles, Tanganga
Salah, Fernandes, Traore, Hayden
Jimenez, Ings
Bench: Button, Augero, Mahrez, Egan
I could make no transfer this field and field 11 players. But i am not too confident on hayden and tanganga even playing. Below are my current options
1) Augero to vardy and bench Tanganga
2) Hayden to Barnes. Thinking behind this is i can bring auba for augero next week
3) Egan to pereira or doherty
4) Augero to DCL this week. Traore to KDB next week
5) Keep as it is
Let me know which sounds good this gw and in overrall for next few gws. Always appreciate your comments man. Hope both of us get a huge green arrow this gw 🙂

Ola. Good to hear that, thanks. Yes, just posted the latest team at the top. Feeling more likely to stick with Plan A in order to roll 2FTs for next week. We’re also pushing closer to the big blank GW31, so using transfers strategically ahead of the blank might help save the FH Chip for a big DGW.
1) Gamble with a strong upside if it comes off. Vardy has to score and his time could be now. Brendan Rodgers also backed him to snap out of the slump.
2) Smart option. Bringing in a Leicester attacker is reasonable with their upcoming fixtures.
3) Either player can work, unless you’re considering Egan for two green fixtures GW29-GW30.
4) Need more time to think about this one. Not sure about the timing, but it’s up to you.
Between Options 1+2. Additional funds from Option 1 could help tighten up team depth in the long-run with more nailed-on players. Depends on what you’re feeling… go big with Vardy and more flexibility, or safer with Barnes upgrading key positions as you go.

Not sure about Rico and Greenwood would start. I have 1 free transfer in hand. What do you recommend? Thinking about bringing in Bruno Fernandez and Barnes instead of Grealish and Maddison? Or if I want to transfer out one player who would I transfer in and what player should I sell? I have £1.9 in the bank.
And what are the top captain picks?

Hey. No guarantees, but Solskjaer almost hinted at Greenwood starting in his post-match interview yesterday. Of course, it could be mind games to trick Ancelotti!
I have the same players and transfers in mind, so I can speak for my team. then it’s up to you. 🙂
Current thinking is to stick with Maddison. He might have extra motivation and raise his levels against his former club Norwich.
If I was to make a change, it could be Grealish to Barnes. But after more planning, I’ve noticed that Grealish could play for my team GW30 (green fixture according to our cheatsheet), and he could even play in the blank GW31 if Newcastle lose to West Brom in the FA Cup in a week.
I want to stay flexible, and in my case, I can roll 2FTs if I don’t make an additional change now. Your team and needs could be different.
I don’t know what’s happening with Rico, but you could consider a change possibly to Boly. Charlie Taylor (BUR) is another option if you can work out ways to bench Taylor with difficult fixtures ahead of the blank GW31. Wolves and Burnley are guaranteed to play GW31.
Those are the thoughts. It took some time to come to a final decision for my team, so it’s up to you. Good luck! 👍

Howzat going?.
Been busy my side, but always great to take a break with FPL.
After much thought, I eventually decided to take some hits GW28 to field a starting 11, to avoid Mane price rise. This is after gaining some ground with small green arrows the past few weeks. Now around 1.7m O.R and looking for a strong finish.
After a – 8, my team is as follows and needs 1 more transfer( goalkeeper):
Henderson*, (Button)
TAA, Soyuncu, Stephens, Sidibe, ( Rico)
Salah, Mane, Traore, (De Bruyne), (Fleck)
Vardy, Jiminez, Ings
ITB- 0.3m
Three quick questions.
1. *Who do you think is the best goalkeeper to bring in for GW28….I was thinking of Schmeichel.? who appears to have lotsa green fixtures ahead….I have the exact funds available. If I do bring him in and Sidibe is my next week change, I can bring in Boly. However , if I bring in Mccarthy, whose also been in form recently and has some good fixtures too, the extra funds allows me to upgrade defender to Doherty. Your thoughts?
2. Captain. …Mane or Salah or Vardy?.
Apparently Salah has not scored away this season when Mane has started…..!.
Salah does though have a good record vs Watford, but has been a bit off form, if not lucky with his recent goals.
Mane’s away record is good and he appears back in form.
And then Vardy has probably the best fixture, at least on paper. Your views?
3. Do you suggest starting Sidibe over Rico?
I would really appreciate your valuable feedback, before the GW28 FPL deadline to assist me to climb up the FPL ladder.

Wouldn’t want to face off against your team this week.
1. I don’t have a good assessment of Schmeichel and Leicester’s defense at this moment. Fixtures are excellent. McCarthy offers great value at his price and in the short-term, his fixtures are great. I might prefer the value in Boly over Doherty, but we know what Doherty can do. I moved for Pope in my team for the long-run, but that’s in rotation with Henderson GW29-GW30. If you’re making a straightforward GK swap with Henderson, a different option makes sense.
2. Leaning toward Salah, but it’s super close. Salah looked dangerous against West Ham and could’ve had a huge haul. Mane is right in the mix, too close to call. Vardy is a bigger risk on current form, but he will snap out of the slump at some point and has a great chance against Norwich’s defense.
3. Don’t know why Rico dropped out. Leaning toward Sidibe and a small edge according to the fixture cheatsheet, but I can also understand tightening up those two positions in the future with an eye on the blank GW31… Boly/Doherty can work nicely between now and BGW31, Charlie Taylor (BUR) has tough fixtures, then he’s an option for the blank.
If you can hold that long, the FA Cup between GW28-GW29 could bring more surprises and alternatives if certain teams are knocked out.
