FPL GW4 Team
🚨 Confirmed GW4 Team! 🚨
TRANSFERS OUT: Ceballos, Martial
TRANSFERS IN: Mount, Maddison
***UPDATE: Final transfer confirmed! Martial out for Maddison (-4 hit). Flexibility to bring in a premium defender, or a power move for KDB/Aguero. Thanks and good luck everyone! 👍💯 – Bruno
Previous Updates
*I initially had Kelly as a starter, but Lampard said Rudiger and Kante are still out injured, so I’ve brought in Lundstram for his attacking potential. Nearly set with the final team. Final decision is the replacement for Martial. Currently between Maddison and McGinn, but I want to use all the time before deciding.
*Waiting for official news on Martial before proceeding. It appears that Mason Mount is in training without complications. Chelsea released this video today with Mount in the background:

Hi Bruno, i am leading in my cash league by 3 points and now i’m making the wildcard.
Going from:
Ryan-Button
VVD-Robertson-Digne-Zinchenko-Lundstram
Salah-Sterling-Mount-McGinn-Dendoncker
Wilson-King-Greenwood
to
Pope-Button
VVD-Digne-Walker-Zinchenko-Lundstram
Salah-Mane-Sterling-Cantwell-Dendoncker
Pukki-Barnes-Greenwood
I am also thinking of getting rid of VVD and taking Adrian (then switching him with Pope when Alisson is back), and taking a Chelsea def or kepping Mount…

Hi. Recommend keeping Mount if he is ok.
Walker and Zinchenko have good points potential, but Cancelo and Mendy are close to full fitness. Don’t think they’ll be ready for a start GW4, I’m only listing all the factors to consider before you finalize your plan.
Attack is strong, see if you can bump Mount into the midfield (assuming he’s fit!).

Hi Bruno,
I follow you feom last 3 years.
You are absolutely amazing.
I have played wildcard for GW4
This is my team,
Heaton, Ryan
Zinchenko, PVA, TAA, Lundstram, Adam smith
Mane, Mount, Moura, Cantwell, Sterling
Pukki, Abraham, Barnes
Do you suggest any changes here ?
I want to get rid of Moura. Is it wise decision?
Whom should i replace with ?
If i have to get in Salah then which other players i should sell ??
Thank you for your support.

Hi. Thank you, that’s amazing to hear. 🙂
EDIT: I misunderstood you, you are on a Wildcard and I was trying to tell you not to do it because that team is strong!
I agree with you on Moura, he has slight risk of rotation.
Don’t know if you have to get Salah in for GW4, but if he continues to outscore Mane, you may have to. I prefer Salah over Mane in the long-run, but it’s harder to predict who will score more points GW4.
Maddison is an alternative for Moura. If you go cheaper, possibly McGinn, not sure if this allows a move for Salah, or if it’s worth bouncing to him GW4 when Mane can also do well.
Those are some ideas, hope it helps you finalize the plan. 👍

Hi Bruno, I followed you with WC and got 57 pts. Not bad. I went without Salah (idk why, Mane tempted me) and now I want to get him back.
Ryan (Button)
AWB, Digne, TAA, Zinc (Lundstram)
Mane, Sterling, KDB, Martial, Mount
Pukki (Greenwood, Wickham)
I’m planing to get -4 hit w/ Martial & Mane out –> Salah & Cantwell (or someone else) in.
What are your thoughts about that? Is Salah mandatory or could Mane prove great differential in front of him? Is this attack to cheap/weak. Auba seems like great option from GW5-GW9 but it will cost about -12.
Thanks and keep up the good work!

Hi. Solid score in a low-scoring week. Mane had chances as well, I can remember Ceballos nearly assisting to him with a pass across the Arsenal box. 🙃
I prefer Salah over Mane in the long-run. The problem is they have similar scoring potential GW4. Salah has an edge also with penalties when Milner is not on the pitch.
Martial could be the priority if he’s out injured. If forced to pick between Salah and Mane, I’d choose Salah. Another idea is a straightforward swap to Maddison.
Cantwell is great for his price and could do well GW4. The only note is whether we can trust him as a starter in the long-run, he could be great as a rotation option. Norwich play Man City GW5…
Don’t know if I trust Arsenal’s away form just yet. When rating a premium player, I prefer to see proof of consistency like with Man City and Liverpool attackers.
Be careful with too many early transfers because 14 Premier League teams are in action midweek.
Need an update on Martial real soon!

Hey Bruno..love what you’re doing mate and the effort you’re putting in for Yr channel and blog
Just a few questions on Yr view
Shall I in salah..in Barnes for rashford or should I focus on GK in pope for Ryan..confused as only 1 transfer this week..Yr opinions will help Bruno..cheers mate

Hey, really appreciate you saying that, thanks. 👍
Don’t know if it’s worth a transfer for the GK, both have difficult fixtures GW4.
I would also rate Rashford and Barnes with similar scoring potential when factoring form, points potential and fixtures. Quick note that Rashford’s potential decreases if Martial is out injured, so we need an update.
Salah depends on the rest of you squad, but it is hard for me to suggest not to buy him when I have him.

Hi Bruno
Having just watched your GW4 update l can totally understand the moves and reasons why you went in the direction you did with the WC.
Below is my current team – GW3 56pts/OR 314k/ITB 1.3/FT 1
POPE (BUTTON)
WAN-B / VVD / DIGNE / ZINCHENKO – LUNDSTAM
SALHA / STERLING / KDB / *PEREZ – DENDONCKER
PUKKI / *KING – GREENWOOD
I decided to hold my WC but against my plan not to take too many hits this season, yes you guessed it, l went for a -4pts to bring in Pukki/KDB/Zinchenko for Wilson/Siggy/Robertson.
Perez – hasn’t really fulfilled his pre-season promise and he is my main issue. Transfer options are Lanzini / Mount /H Wilson/ McGinn
l had planned for Martial as an option, but l think l will hold back for now, Man U again dominated possession against Palace, but not creating too many chances!
King – he has done ok ish – but Haller has been on my radar right from the start and looks an athletic player scoring 2 at the weekend and l feel there will be goals against Norwich or Barnes again has favourable fixtures & form.
l am tempted for both moves but a move +/- 4pts is around 100k in rank so it’s very tight at the moment, so l may plan the moves over 2 GW’s.
The above atm would leave £0.5 ITB and l may upgrade VVD>TAA for more attacking returns??
Also need to keep a check on Mendy’s return and given City’s run l will be going with 3 players for now.
This is the first season l have gone light on the forwards and the likes of Kane / Aguero are making me very nervous!!
Your thoughts / comments would be greatly appreciated as always and trust your gut Bruno as you usually make the right moves over the season!!
All the best

Hi Malc. Thank you. 👍
I can understand the transfer hits. The transfer market is kind of ridiculous and we could get priced of key players.
Of course everything within reason. I made one early transfer, but want to wait for more info before proceeding.
Perez – Leaning toward Mount. Looked dangerous, like a mini-Lampard arriving into the box at the right moments. Lanzini is a good player, but his injury record isn’t the greatest. I don’t know if H. Wilson will be consistent, but he has great potential. McGinn is a quality player for the price.
King – Can see the idea against Norwich. Hard to tell sometimes with West Ham.
Didn’t realize it was that much of a swing in the rank for a hit!
I would a little cautious with VVD to TAA. TAA has the edge with attacking potential, but Klopp mentioned rotation in an article today. No idea what that means for GW4.
Hopefully the thoughts above can help you get closer to a decision. Thanks for the great comment. 👍

Hi bruno, What r ur thoughts on Ceballos after d game against Liverpool .Is he gonna get a start vs Spurs?
Upper 90 Studios
27/08/19
If he starts, he has good potential. The problem is it couldn’t have been worse on his debut on my Wildcard.
He made bad errors like passing it straight to Mane in his own box, he wasn’t involved in the attack, although to be fair Emery’s tactics didn’t help, and Torreira came on as a sub and scored.
I don’t know if he will start or not, I hope he does for his owners. Since I also have Martial as a doubt, I decided to reduce the risk by shifting to Mason Mount.

Hey Bruno,
Great video!
My squad now after wildcard in gw3..
Ryan
AWB , Kelly, dignie
Lanzini, sterling, Kdb, douglas Luiz
Pukki , firmino, kane
Bench
Martial , lundstram, Rico , button
Should take a -4 hit to bring back Salah + cantwell by selling Martial + kdb?
Upper 90 Studios
27/08/19
Hey, thanks! This is a difficult question. Martial could be a concern if he’s out, but I can’t suggest selling KDB as he’s been great this season.
Your midfield could feel safer with a Liverpool premium like Salah, so it’s not easy. In the long run, I might prefer Salah over Kane, because Liverpool have a more consistent attack. But it’s not easy because both can do well GW4.
I’m stuck on this one, sorry!

What u think about Haller
Upper 90 Studios
27/08/19
Looked great and is on my watchlist. Norwich next is enticing. My only note is whether West Ham can continue to deliver consistently. I may give him another game or two, but that’s probably what I should’ve done with Ceballos and you know how that turned out.
