FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM TIPS FOR 2019-20
FPL GW6 Team
🚨 Final GW6 Team! 🚨
TRANSFERS OUT: Sterling, Maddison, Wickham
TRANSFERS IN: Aguero, Son, Hayden
***UPDATE: Going for it again with two new differentials against the #Elite64 league. Aguero captain and Son vice captain while improving the squad depth. Selling Sterling wasn’t easy! He had 99% ownership in the #Elite64 league at the start of GW5 and good scoring potential GW6 if he starts. Thanks for watching and good luck!!! 👍💯 -Bruno
PS: I’ve added #Elite64 ownership stats to the blog post below.
Previous updates.
– GW6 transfer plan remains the same as the video, Maddison out for Son. Mount has suffered no serious ligament damage, but he is a doubt for Sunday’s game against Liverpool. His replacement would need to make up a -4 hit and be a better choice than Mount going forward. Mount’s form, fixtures and Chelsea’s attack potential are too difficult to ignore, so I’m most likely keeping him. Didn’t like seeing Sterling play 90 minutes in the Champions League, worried about captaining him if he gets benched, especially when Aguero was fully-rested…

All they gonna say is I won’t make it
I’m sorry that you feel that way
I’m a champion no I ain’t afraid to take a hit babe
Put it in my face
You can hate me
I’m sorry that you feel that way
I’m sorry that you feel that way

Hi Bruno!! Cheers from Portugal!! 👏👏
I’ve had a similar team to yours but this week i went for Lamela, Callum Wilson and Otamendi trading Madisson, Martinelli and VVD while keeping 0,5 M in the bank!!!
GK: Ryan, (Button)
DEF: Digne, Otamendi, Macguire, (Lundstrom, Dunk)
MID: Sterling, Salah, De Bruyne, Mount, Lamela
FWD: Callum Wilson, Pukki, (Wickham)
Hope this week will be better for all of us!!
Keep up the good work and congrats for all last videos!!

Will mount start or is he still injured

No concrete answer from Lampard. I would rate him as 50-50 chance, but I’m starting him just in case.
This type of ankle sprain is normally a minimum of one week from my eperience rolling my ankle about a thousand times playing. Miss one week, back in action taped up. But everyone reacts differently to treatment and Mount will have state-of-the art resources to return quicky.

Hi Bruno,
I am on a wc and thinking about below last minute change. What do you recommend
Aurier and Barnes or King and maguire/matip
Thanks

Hi. That’s a tricky one. Aurier was fantastic GW5 and is fully-rested for the league. Smallest risk over the long-run with Pochettino rotating his fullbacks, but not if Aurier continues to play like this. Barnes must deliver with the green fixtures ahead, a quiet game GW5.
King and Bournemouth played well. King is playing out wide, but remains a good option as long as Bournemouth are scoring goals. Matip also not 100% safe from rotation in the long-run. Maguire has mixed fixtures, but United can still put in strong defensive performances against any team.
Close between Aurier/Barnes and King/Maguire. Maybe smallest edge to Aurier/Barnes?

Hi Bruno, this is my 2nd season and I have been reading your comments and videos. They are insightful, keep up the good work!
I haven’t had a good GW5, benching pukki and cantwell, while selling AWB and Mane for Arnold and KDB =(.
My current team looks like this, and I was contemplating on bringing Son and/or Aguero in but it would be too costly and I still plan to keep Stirling.
Probably going to bank the transfer as I am not convinced any last minute tweaking is going to work out.
My current team looks like this:
Ryan
Zincheko TAA Digne
Mount Cantwell Sterling (c) Salah (v) KDB
Pukki Barnes
Bench: Button Dunk Lundstram Wickham
Squad Value: 100.6, 1.6 ITB
Thoughts on my team?
I am undecided on Zincheko and Barnes but both their fixtures look good for now.. but Mendy started playing the CL so he should be back soon. Do you see Pep dropping Zinc? I am thinking if Barnes blanks again, I might try to work Abraham in but I have probably have to get the extra $$ from defense… is that a good idea?
Thanks and good luck for GW6!

Hi. Thanks, I appreciate that! 👍 Know what you mean with the transfers last week.
Can understand keeping Sterling because he has high ownership with strong FPL managers and a good scoring potential GW6, if he starts as expected. Man City can’t afford to drop points in back-to-back games.
No concerns with your team. Zinchenko has been unlucky not to bag attacking returns in the last few games. You know Mendy is back, so it’s worth watching it closely. No idea what Pep will do.
Agree on Barnes who has no excuse with the upcoming fixtures. He has to deliver.
Looking good, nothing required to change. Good luck!

Hi Bruno,
Thanks for the fixture sheet. youve also helped me previously with a good soyuncu pickup in time for some extra points.
Currently have 2FT and i’d like to see where i can invest for future gw’s.
team currently is
ryan
dign soy zin hanley (bust) lund
mcgin sal sterl kdb son
greenwood pukki tammy
im thinking of transferring out sterling.. but its sterling so i probably wont.
so im left with zin + mcginn. i dont feel as tho zin can get solid cs while laporte is out and mcgin could have some tough fixtures..
so im leaning towards a zin > tomori, and mcginn > tielemans??
tielemans i havent watched yet but i see lei have some good fixtures coming up.. im also thinking of harry wilson.. but he gets subbed around the 60min mark alot even tho he has 3goals already..
any direction on this would be helpful.
thanks,

Hi. Nice, glad it worked out for you. I’m not sure if you posted this comment before, during, or after the games…
The players in your transfer could work, so do your research from the weekend and trust your instinct. I watched the Leicester game and thought Tielemans was ok, not his best performance. But they can raise their games against strong sides, so it’s up to you.
Tomori’s price is attractive. Not seeing many clean sheets in Chelsea’s future because they love to attack, but it helps that Kante is back. With Rudiger, Tomori’s CS potential increases. Need an update from Lampard on Rudiger.
Another option could be a straight swap to Otamendi, keeping McGinn who looked good GW6 and has good fixtures. They show as green on our fixture cheatsheet (attackers version).
I can’t recommend selling Sterling because we know what he can do, assuming he plays! The midweek will be interesting depending on who Pep starts. If he starts Sterling, then it’s worth revisiting because Pep has too many attacking options, especially now that Mendy can operate on the left side also.
Thanks for the comment 👍

Hey Bruno! After that manchester city masterclass (wow), I’m really reconsidering my team. Here is what it’s looking like rn:
Ryan (Pope)
Lundstram, TAA, Digne, Zinchenko (out for Rico), Kelly
Sterling (out for Son), Salah, KDB, Cantwell, Mount
Pukki, Barnes (out for Aguero), Greenwood
I think Aguero’s going to get more PL minutes because Jesus will take all the cup games and some of the CL games while Sterling will probably be needed in all the CL games, meaning more rest for Sterling during the PL season. As a result I’m thinking of transferring Sterling out for Son to make funds for Aguero. Obviously I could also transfer out KDB but he’s such good value and his assist potential is crazy (also gives me cover as if he assists for a city attacker I don’t have).
I still need 1.5 more to make this happen so I’m thinking Zinchenko to Rico. Zinchenko didn’t play against watford, with Mendy starting so I think his time as a consistent starter is up. Meanwhile Rico, for 4.1, is on set pieces when he plays and is cheap. I plan on rotating him with Kelly and Lundstram. I’m not too worried about Bournemouth’s clean sheets as there are no teams with good clean sheet potential right now.
Do you think these moves make sense?

Hey! Never know for sure with Pep, but you could be right with regards to his rotation plan.
Don’t recommend selling KDB as he is in the form of his life and irreplaceable. Guardiola knows what benching KDB in the league can do, lacking creativity in the attack and dropping three points against Norwich GW5.
You know the strengths and weaknesses of Rico. I can speak for my team, and I have Son and Aguero already, feeling positive about the two going forward. Your transfers are reasonable and I prefer your new players going forward, but you would have to accept the risk of selling a premium players like Sterling. 👍

Hey Bruno, followed your tip on switching Sterling for Aguero, and it looks like its paying off handsomely so far this GW!
I am currently thinking of bringing Otamendi into the team, but am unsure if I should transfer out Van Dijk, Digne or AWB.
Liverpool seems to have some upcoming tough fixtures, but with Alisson probably coming back in Oct(?), that would shore up the backline and potential clean sheets. With Digne, he has had a good fixture run, but Everton seem to be disappointing so far. He is having terrible form. I feel like he is the ‘sterling’ of the defence, so much potential returns, but it just not happening yet so far. AWB on the other hand, Manutd seem to be quite difficult to predict. Individual errors costing them clean sheets.
Any help and tips would be great! 🙂

Hey. Nice! Agree with you on Liverpool, they need Alisson for that stability.
Everton had chances last game with Digne involved, but you’re right about Everton’s form.
United didn’t look great in the attack and defense, and they could be spending more time defending now that they lost Rashford as well.
Leaning toward selling AWB for Otamendi.

Hi Bruno,
I hope your game-week is going excellent. City players delivering big points! I got otamendi on a wildcard and that paid off. Already 72 points with salah to play. Only negative thing was, both my bench player, rico and lundy, thoroughly outperformed my other 2 defenders (aurier and digne) 17 points on the bench 🙁
Is it time to get rid of digne now? I am thinking digne to matip and use the extra funds to upgrade barnes to abraham. But it would require -4. Would you recommend this move?
What are you personally doing about digne?
Thanks
Upper 90 Studios
23/09/19
Hi. My team did very well, thanks! Congrats on the big score! 🙂
The bench players did their job, frustrating they didn’t step in this time, but it’s a positive going forward should you need them again.
Not sure yet about Digne. It’s a difficult decision and of course, Man City next makes it more difficult. Digne had a few chances GW6, Everton had about 16 shots which isn’t so bad. But they’re not finishing and the feeling with Marco Silva isn’t the greatest. If Silva is sacked, we could see a lift. Everton have quality players, just need a kick to get moving again. But how long will this continue and is it worth keeping Digne while they struggle? I don’t know.
Since I don’t have a concrete decision on Digne, it’s hard to point others in a set direction. At the moment, he’s in my team for the attack potential. Digne has one of the highest ceilings for a defender, so it’s not easy. All it takes is one set piece like we saw with TAA against Chelsea.
I would give Abraham the edge over Barnes because of Chelsea’s attacking potential vs. Burnley.

Hi Bruno, I need a replacement for Maitland Niles, who do you prefer or would you go for 3 def (Digne, VVD, Lundstram) and get mcginn? Thanks!
Upper 90 Studios
23/09/19
Hi. Not sure. You could aim for Otamendi depending on funds. Or go cheaper in a move for McGinn who has good potential in the next 3 games. There are affordable defenders at Burnley, Leicester, possibly Chelsea, or the 4.0m-4.1m range which requires starting Lundstram every game, and that’s not the worst thing if he continues to deliver.
