FPL GW6 Team
🚨 Final GW6 Team! 🚨
TRANSFERS OUT: Sterling, Maddison, Wickham
TRANSFERS IN: Aguero, Son, Hayden
***UPDATE: Going for it again with two new differentials against the #Elite64 league. Aguero captain and Son vice captain while improving the squad depth. Selling Sterling wasn’t easy! He had 99% ownership in the #Elite64 league at the start of GW5 and good scoring potential GW6 if he starts. Thanks for watching and good luck!!! 👍💯 -Bruno
PS: I’ve added #Elite64 ownership stats to the blog post below.
Previous updates.
– GW6 transfer plan remains the same as the video, Maddison out for Son. Mount has suffered no serious ligament damage, but he is a doubt for Sunday’s game against Liverpool. His replacement would need to make up a -4 hit and be a better choice than Mount going forward. Mount’s form, fixtures and Chelsea’s attack potential are too difficult to ignore, so I’m most likely keeping him. Didn’t like seeing Sterling play 90 minutes in the Champions League, worried about captaining him if he gets benched, especially when Aguero was fully-rested…

All they gonna say is I won’t make it
I’m sorry that you feel that way
I’m a champion no I ain’t afraid to take a hit babe
Put it in my face
You can hate me
I’m sorry that you feel that way

Hi Bruno,
After 2 bad GWs, have pressed the WC button and below is my team.
Going big in Mid and frwd and sacrificing defence.
Heaton/Button
Aurier/Soyuncu/Tomori/kelly/Rico
DeBryune/Sterling/Salah/mane/Cantwell
Abraham/Pukki/ Brewster*
Please help suggest tweaks or improvements.
Thanks.

Hi. Love the attack, of course it will dig into the defense.
I have small notes, nothing required to change. As you would expect, it’s the defense.
Wish you could bump one of Rico or Kelly to Lundstram as he has a good scoring potential in the attack, not seeing an easy way if you’re currently at £0m ITB. Lundstram was on for 2 bonus points until they conceded in the second half. Rico and Kelly may not get regular starts, but they are good bench enablers in your formation.
I’ve had a hard time trusting Pochettino with his fullbacks because he has rotated this position in the past. Although I can’t see Aurier being dropped after a strong performance. It could work while in good form.
Hopefully Tomori is 100% nailed-on now, Zouma may have lost his place. Liverpool next isn’t the easiest to predict, anything can happen. Chelsea defenders have good fixtures after GW6, so I can see your idea.
That’s it, it’s strong overall and I wouldn’t want to face this attack. 👍

Hi Bruno, thanks for video 😉
I made 65 points this week. Again I chose captain who had less points then vice-captain 😀 trend for me this season 🙂
For GW6 I made 2FT after saturday games:
Salah out – KDB in
Barnes out – Abraham in
My team for GW6:
Heaton (Button)
Zinchenko-Digne-Lundstram (Robertson, Kelly)
Sterling-KDB-Mané-Cantwell-Mount
Pukki-Abraham (Greenwood)
I thought about sell one of high-priced midfielders Salah/Sterling and because GW6 schedule is better for MCI a sell Salah for option to buy Abraham. And KDB as 3rd MCI player in my team against bottom team I guess is good option.
Question one is – who as Captain. City has lot of potentional scorers so I will propably start chosing captain from my attackers.
Pukki against Burnley, I feel two goals 😀
Question two is – I thinking about pick up Aubameyang and playing with trio Pukki-Abraham-Aubameyang. They are in great form and played every game. So will need sell one of the MCI midfielders. For this move I need 2FT so I have next two weeks for watching and thinking. Who out and which one MF on bench. Bigger chance is KDB out.
And new tactic 3-4-3.
GL guys, don’t cry too much 😀

Hi. You’re welcome! I’ll cry in the corner haha. 🙂 Congrats on a solid score this week.
Liking the players you brought in. Not the easiest fixture for Abraham, but his form is hard to ignore.
1. Leaning toward Sterling captain as well, Man City cannot afford to drop points to Liverpool again.
2. Prefer to invest on teams I can trust will deliver consistently in the attack. Sometimes Arsenal can put in shaky performances, although I can understand Aubameyang who is a top player. If forced to choose at this moment, I would build with premium players from Liverpool and Man City. But I’m open to changing this in the future depending on performances.
Thanks for the funny comment, good luck! 👍

Hi bruno,
Ederson (button)
Digne, vvd, dunk, lundstram (rico)
Sterling, mane, kdb, cantwell, (guendozi)
Pukki, firmino, barnes
Tough gw5 for me too. I captained sterling, bench pukki while mane scored 2 goals. For gw6 should i captain sterling or go for mane/firmino as my captain?
Gw6 im going for a 3-4-3 benching lundstram, what are your thoughts?
Barnes is not delivering but im going to keep him. Many of my friend are going for tammy as they fear the increase in price. Do you think tammy is a good option given his form or is he unable to keep up the performance?
Wishing you big green arrow for gw6!

Hi. Liking the GK+DEF. Mids and forwards are set.
Leaning toward a Man City attacker for the captaincy. They cannot afford to drop more points, so we could see a big response in front of the home fans. Sterling is in great form, scoring 1 goal and 3 assists in 45min for England in the previous game. The points will come, Pep made a mistake dropping KBD.
No issues with your starters vs. bench.
Super close between Barnes and Tammy for GW6 once we consider all the factors like fixtures. I wouldn’t worry just yet, but Barnes and Burnley have to raise their level in the attack. Their fixtures are a positive.
Good luck! 👍

Hi Bruno,
Pope
Digne, Robertson, Zinchenko,
Sterling, KdB, Salah, Maddison, Cantwell
Pukki, Barnes
Bench: Button, Soy, Greenwood, Cantwell or Lundstram
Bank: 0.7
Team value: 101.1
Gw4 = 52 points
Gw5 = 40 points
I didn’t change anything between gw 4 and 5 and Sterling (C).
My idea is to remove Maddison for Mount and Barnes for Wilson with keeping in mind that i need to correct my mistake that i made on WC when I brought Soy instead of going cheaper because he will rarely play in my 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 and it’s kind of waste of 0.5/0.4.
So my questions are
1. Do you prefer Mount and Wilson or doubling up on Chelsea and do Mount and
Abraham?
2. Best way to correct Soy? Do you also think it was a mistake?
P.s. With trading Maddison and Barnes I lose 0.2 team value but i think that doesn’t really matter.

Hi. Great GK+DEF. Attackers are strong. If you’ve seen the new video, you’ll know I’m considering dropping Maddison after two blanks that really hurt my rank. I needed him when others struggled, no excuse at home vs. Bournemouth GW4 and now fixtures aren’t the greatest. To be fair, he has had chances to score and Leicester sometimes raise their game against stronger opponents.
1. I prefer the new players in your new plan after recent performances (and points). The only note is Mount against Liverpool is not an easy one to predict. It doesn’t necessarily mean Mount can’t do well, Liverpool have just one clean sheet this season. I’m holding off another game until considering a Chelsea double in the attack, but it’s worth considering as they are scoring.
2. Not a mistake, you took a chance hoping he would deliver to his potential once considering all the factors. I can see your idea – going super low in price in the weaker positions in order to maximize the strength of the regular starters. 👍 There is no easy way to go cheaper, it’s whether you’re willing to gamble on Rico or Kelly who may not get consistent starts. If they’re mostly bench in your side, it might work this early in the season.
Every factor counts, including team depth. My bench is a bit of a mess at the moment, I’m not happy with the situation, although I’m willing to take the risk at this stage. Now with international breaks and the Champions League, we could see some surprise benchings. We already saw one GW5… 🙂
Losing that £0.1m is the smallest factor, never a good feeling, but in this case those players aren’t rising in price anyway. Points over prices.

Hey bruno,
Need help here.
1 free transfer, 2.6m in the bank.
I want to transfer out either Ceballos or A.Barnes.
If Ceballos, who should i get? I was thinking Mount, Cantwell or Villa’s Jota.
If A.Barnes, i was thinking Abraham, Wilson, Vardy, or King.
Who should i buy based on performance n upcoming GW? Or is there other players that you recommend?
Upper 90 Studios
17/09/19
Hey. Wish Ceballos was a 90min regular as Arsenal have good potential in the attack. Mount is a straightfoward replacement, but of course the next one is not the easiest vs. Liverpool. Cantwell is also good if it allows an improvement in another position. We’re looking at the squad overall sometimes taking a small cut on one player if two new players combine more total points.
Barnes is also one to keep a close eye on. No excuse with green upcoming fixtures. Burnley have to create more chances in the attack, that’s a factor. I prefer to invest on teams that create many chances and take shots. as far as a possible replacement, Wilson and Abraham are the standouts. With Mount, moving for Abraham has that risk of doubling up, but it could still work on current form. Need more games to make a proper assessment of a double up.
Think you have all the right players in mind.

Not such a good week for my team 38 points.
No panic bad gameweeks happen, now then i have activated my wildcard mainly to catch prices of mount and cantwell.
here is my first draft , what would you do if you was on a wc now your thoughts always appreciated , excellent and original from you ,content as usual.
Pope/button.
Trent/Digne/Zinchenko/Lundstram/Rico.
Salah/Sterling/KDB/Mount/Cantwell.
Wilson/Pukki/Greenwood.
0.4m in the bank.
thanks a alot.

Ola. Many strong managers had a difficult score, so don’t worry.
Mount and Cantwell are returning well for their prices.
I love your team. Don’t think I can improve this formation. Smallest note on Zinchenko, one to keep an eye on, but not a concern yet. He has been unlucky with attacking returns.
Good work. 👍

Hi Bruno, I need your advice
Here’s my team
Ederson(McGovern)
Digne, AWB, Van Dijk, Lundstram, Soyuncu
Salah, Sterling, KDB, Mount, Cantwell
Pukki, Haller (Wickham)
I have had consecutive bad gameweeks (wrong captain choices, benching the wrong players) and have already played my wildcard. My rank has fallen too much.
I have 0.0 ITB and 1 FT. What do you suggest I should do this gameweek? Transfer out Haller(for who?), Bring in Son (how?) or save my free transfer?
I’m so confused, I really need your advice🙏
Thanks.

Hi. GK+DEF is set. Attack is strong as well. I wrote those two notes before checking the rest of your comment.
Your team is nearly set. The points haven’t come, but that’s out of our control. We can’t predict things like KDB getting benched, that was even more costly for Guardiola! It also affected Sterling owners…
No major concern at this moment when we consider replacements such as Abraham who plays Liverpool next. Doubling up with Mount has its own risks. Barnes didn’t play well GW5. Wilson is on my Watchlist.
Not seeing an easy way to shift to Son. I don’t recommend selling the premium mids. One idea could be to watch these players closely:
Ederson – no Laporte now, curious about their clean sheet potential. AWB – good for now, has to bring points at his price. Soyunku – difficult fixtures ahead. Haller – some pressure to deliver consistently for the price. To be fair, I can’t give a proper assessment of Haller without watching Monday’s game.
The idea to bank the transfer is a reasonable plan. Gives another round of information so you can make a more calculated decision.

Hi Bruno?
Great video! Most of us have been unlucky and have Sterling and D. Bruyne not scoring hurting many of us ranking.
I’m on wildcard now and I need your opinion:
De Gea, McGovern
Aurier, Pieters, M.Niles,Lundstram, Rico
Mané, Son, Cantwell, Mount, Hayden
Pukki, Aguero, Auba
Tv:99.9 IB:1,3
My back line looks weak but Liverpool, M. CIty and M.U all conceding gols makes me go flat in the back and strong in the front line. Arsenal has a great run of fixtures.
So any advice will be great.
Obrigado Bruno.

Hi. Thanks! Mount suffered an injury in the Champions League today. Need an upodate from Lampard.
Yes, can see the concern with your backline. I might consider at least one premium defender like Digne, possibly Liverpool cover, but it’s up to you. Premium defenders haven’t been keeping clean sheets, but some are still looking dangerous in the attack.
Other than these two notes, your idea can work. 👍

Mount picked up an injury in the Champions League today, so we need an update from Lampard. Ceballos is a good player, but he needs to play 90min regularly to have the best scoring potential.
Those are the two notes. Need info from Lampard before making a plan.

I have a similar team to yours with the only difference being Pope as the GK. What if I do not have enough funds for Son? (1m needed).
Plan A: I am thinking of dropping Maddison and replacing with Cantwell. Taking a -4 hit to bring in Tammy.
Plan B: Is Lamela a good option if I can’t afford Son? Assuming I don’t want to sell a premium midfielder

Hi. I thought I was losing it, I answered your comment on YouTube, haha. 🙂
Here’s my reply:
Yes, leaning toward Plan A. Careful though as Mount just picked up an injury in the Champions League. Need an update from Lampard before deadline. I’ve had a hard time trusting Lamela in FPL, he can be a bit inconsistent and not 100% nailed-on.
Thanks for the comment.
