Another excellent week another excellent video
My wife HATES to hear me talk about PL
She’s convinced I got a new car only to listen to the BBC on Saturdays
I have Mane and Sterling in the midfield and my thought is swapping Sterling for DBK
I have Ings instead of Jimenez which is my other thought for this weeks transfer
And it looks like Ederson is getting healthy
Thanks Bruno

Great to hear that! That’s funny.
At the moment, the premium players aren’t quite pulling their weight. I like the transfer plan which gives a little better balance to the squad. 👍
Thanks for the comment.

Hi Bruno,
Fantastic video, great effort this week! Looks like the -12 hit sure paid off!
I messaged you before your last video asking whether I should play my WC.. I still have it. However I have done 3 transfers this week and am looking at maybe doing more if I activate my WC. Let me know your thoughts on what I’m thinking…
Jimenez/James with 1.2m ITB (what I have currently) or Son/Mousset with 0.0m ITB
or
Sell Mount/James for Son/4.3m mid (Amartey) unless I sell Pope for Gazzaniga and upgrade 4.3m mid for Hayden… Pope or Gazzaniga?
or
Do no more transfers and leave as is and keep WC
Cheers Bruno,
Nick

Hi Nick,
Thanks! Much needed green arrows. Sorry, I missed some comments and messages last week.
Son is high on my Watchlist, especially with the new manager bounce. The only concern is the timing after an international break as he can sometimes be benched. I had him after the last IB, and he came off the bench for 1 point. But that was under Pochettino. I don’t know if Mourinho will have a different plan.
Your team would not be weak with Jimenez/Mount. Jimenez and Wolves are getting closer to their level from last season, and there is potential for goals in the City vs. Chelsea game.
It’s not easy with the GKs because I have Pope and he has a good fixture versus Watford. Burnley looked difficult to break down once again. Hard to tell what Mourinho will do tactically without seeing the changes he makes. Will he tighten things up defensively, does he have the players to implement his ideas.
It’s super close between staying as is for another round and making the extra moves. If you do make the moves, maybe a small edge to the draft that keeps Jimenez.

Hi Bruno,
Need to get in Vardy/Jimenez/Maddison. How would you plan with the current below squad:
Gazzaniga/Mcgovern
Rico/Tomori/Janmaat/Soyuncu/Kelly
Perez/KDB/Sterling/Salah/Mane
Abraham/Deulofue/Greenwood
Any other suggestions are welcome 🙂
Thanks as always.

Hi. I can speak for my plan, and I had to sacrifice a premium attacker to fund those players. After considering all the factors, including the ankle knock, I chose to sell Salah.
To bring in those players straight away was always going to need a -8 hit. See if you can tinker with Perez, Salah, Greenwood to bring in the new players. Otherwise, you can find a compromise with just Vardy while keeping Perez for Leicester cover.

Hi Bruno.
It’s interesting to see such brave steps to take -12 hit. My biggest hit this season (my 1st FPL season) was -8, but since GW 6 i’m experimenting a strategy to take -4 hit every week. I think this strategy worked out pretty good for me, it makes me aggressive and cautious at the same time.
I do have 2 questions though,
1. I’m very keen to bring Pulisic next week because after I’ve seen his last PL match, he had more chances than Mount. What dou you think about this?
2. If you’re forced to throw a forward between Vardy – Rashford – Jimenez, who would you choose?
Thanks, I’m enjoying your video every week.

Hi. Interesting that you’ve been taking some hits also. I’m grateful that the -12 worked, it rarely does straight away, but can pay off over a few rounds. The scariest part was confirming the transfers early in the week. That could’ve backfired spectacularly.
1. You’re right about Pulisic. He has had more chances than Mount and has delivered the returns. The only notes are whether Pulisic is struggling with a hip problem (need an update from Lampard), and the timing with Man City next which is hard to predict. If it was a normal fixture and assuming both players were fully-fit, Pulisic would have the edge. At this moment, it’s reasonable to wait another round unless your instinct is telling you otherwise.
Pulisic injury: https://metro.co.uk/2019/11/21/christian-pulisic-hip-injury-leaves-major-doubt-chelseas-trip-man-city-11193045/
2. I would keep Vardy, then it’s a close decision between Jimenez and Rashford. They have similar scoring potential, but can get their points in different ways. Rashford is explosive, but United go through hot and cold moments. Jimenez is consistent with a crucial goal that can draw bonus points. Struggling to choose one.
Appreciate your support! 👍

Hey Bruno,
It is very brave of you to take the -12 hit. I am not that kind of manager though. You said there are two types of manager in FPL, Conservative and Aggressive. You are bit of both. I am a conservative manager and really scared of taking the hit. I always transfer my player as need of transferring one by one. When my team looks okay, i will save the free transfers.
But now my team really need to be change but i think i will do it one by one. So i really need your opinion on this for this week. With only 1 FREE TRANSFER.
Should i transfer out :
1) Sterling or KDB for maddison or son or pulisic?
2) TAA for Robertson?
3) Digne for Chillwell?
Also, I want to get Vardy by transferring out C.Wilson but i dont have the budget to buy him unless i sell either KDB or Sterling. I dont want to sell Mane, Mount, and Abraham because Chelsea and Liverpool have been great on attacking. Man City too but i need to get Vardy too because he is on top form.
Thank you.

Hey. Exactly, we all have different playing styles. Yours makes perfect sense and I can see how effective it can be.
I agree on keeping Mane with Chelsea attack cover. In order to bring in Vardy, I had to sacrifice a premium player – Salah. In your case, it might have to be Sterling or KDB. Your call on this one because as you saw from my own results, I sold Salah and he scored 8 points! That’s the danger with selling premium assets. The question is whether you want to spread out the risk with a combination of mid-high priced players, versus relying on fewer players – premium players – with a high ceiling and a compromise on other positions.
1) This one is difficult to rate. Sterling and KDB are on the chopping block for my own team. If forced to keep one at this moment, I might keep KDB who is one of the best at creating chances. But I know what Sterling is capable of, and he could score against Chelsea.
Maddison, Son and Pulisic are in great form and have scoring potential. Son has one unknown in that he can sometimes be benched after international duty with South Korea. Need an update from Lampard as Pulisic may be struggling with a hip injury: https://metro.co.uk/2019/11/21/christian-pulisic-hip-injury-leaves-major-doubt-chelseas-trip-man-city-11193045/
2) Robertson is a doubt for GW13 with the ankle knock. Need an update from Klopp. I’m experimenting with double Liverpool defenders, TAA and Robertson for the upcoming fixtures. Unless Robertson is confirmed to start this weekend, I might wait to bring him in.
3) Prefer Chilwell in the long-run, especially if you don’t have Leicester defensive cover such as Soyuncu or Schmeichs. Of course this week, Everton play Norwich! I sold Pukki when he faced Watford at home, so it’s up to you. 👍
I would rate Vardy and Chilwell high on the Watchlist.
If forced to choose with only 1FT, leaning toward Option 3. Possibly no moves this week so you have 2FTs and can make a move for Vardy next week? The other options have a few unknowns at this very moment, so it’s harder to point you in a set direction.

If Salah doesn’t play in gw13 then is it worth bringing in Mane with the (-4) hit? The fixture is looking good and Salah’s ankle injury is causing problems on his performance!!!
Upper 90 Studios
21/11/19
When I sold Salah, it was for a number of reasons, and the ankle problem was one of them. In his last game in my team, he was subbed off early to protect the ankle. Didn’t like hearing from Klopp that they’ve taken out fluid from the ankle, then it comes back.
He seemed to have shaken it off against Man City, but that collision with Fernandinho hurt him again. I don’t know whether he is 100% recovered from the issue. If he is fully-fit, he is a great option.
Of course, the -4 hit makes it harder to justify, but it does reduce some risk as far as the injury at this moment.

Great video, crazy effort this week! Congrats!
Could use your input on the following:
Lundstram, Tomori or Rico for GW13? I have Soyu and Arnold and need one more for a 3rd defender. Leaning towards Lundstram as City and Wolves seems likelier to score, but just by a bit, and Lundstram has better scoring potential.
GW14
My midfield looks like this: Mount, KDB, Maddision, Mane, Cantwell . Cantwell price is dropping and he isn’t getting as much minutes too. Looking to ship Cantwell out, but who should I get in? I have 2.8mil ITB.
Thoughts on Pulisic for Mount? Only consideration is I got Mount at 6.2.
Can’t double up as I already have Tomori and Abraham.
I could take a -4 and swap cantwell + mount for pulisic and a 6.5mil mid but there’s no one really on the radar for that price. Dan James perhaps? Not really that keen tbh…
argh, choices….
Upper 90 Studios
21/11/19
Thanks! Leaning toward Lundstram for the reasons you mentioned. Sheffield United work hard as a team and he has potential in the attack. Close to scoring twice against Spurs last week.
For Cantwell, and since the straightforward move for Pulisic is Mount, I would aim at Martial. Of course, funds are a factor. Another idea is to go even cheaper like Hayden, then using the funds to improve another position. Dan James is decent for the price. I also like Traore, the only note is his explosive playing style can cause muscle injuries.
On current form, Pulisic has the edge over Mount. The questions are the timing with Man City next, and Pulisic is a doubt with a hip problem: https://metro.co.uk/2019/11/21/christian-pulisic-hip-injury-leaves-major-doubt-chelseas-trip-man-city-11193045/
I might wait until we have an official update from Lampard. If Pulisic misses out, you could either bank the transfer or drop Cantwell. Don’t know if Cantwell is a starter for your team… If he is, and you were to go cheaper, hopefully it would allow a better player who can even step into your starting XI.

Hi Bruno, congrats with the great GW you had and that your -12 paid off nicely!
My team is:
Pope/Button
TAA, Soy, Lundstram, (Rico), (Kelly)
Salah, KdB, Martial, Mount, Maddison
Vardy, Abraham (Connolly)
I am thinking of a few changes and would love your view on them:
a) Richarlison for Mount this GW and Pulisic for Richarlison for GW14
b) Jimenez for Connolly and play 3 strikers this GW and bench Mount. From GW14 Jimenez would be benched.
c) -4 hit and get Mane for Salah and Richarlison for Mount
d) -4 hit and get Mane for Salah and Jimenez for Connolly
My concern is that Salah dont start and dont like Mount against City away. I have had Mount since the start, but might be the time to take Pulisic in after this GW and after GW14 get Son instead of Martial.
Looking forwards to your comments!
Thanks!

Hi. Thanks! Great players in your Watchlist. Wish we had official confirmation from Klopp on the injuries.
a) Can understand this move to capitalize on Norwich’s defense. Hopefully you would have no other issues the following Gameweek.
b) Great idea. This is how I’ve set up my team for GW13, although I may be forced to play Mount due to injury concerns.
c) Good option. I might trust Mount and Chelsea over Richarlison and Everton in the long-run, but it depends on your future plans.
d) Prefer this over Option c. Spreading the risk over two quality players, Mane and Jimenez.
Don’t know if Salah will play GW13 or whether he will be managed with the ankle issue.
Leaning toward Options b) or d), but any can work because they are all strong. Struggling to choose one!

Hi Bruno,
I’m in a serious dilemma and would like your advise.
I have Robertson and I’m not sure hes going to start this week. Also, initially (before Robertson news) I was planning to save this week transfer to get pulisic and dendoncer for mount and cantwell next week without hits. This alao9 will give me 0.1m extra to get Henderson for ryan.
However, given Robertson’s news, do you think I should get TAA instead this week. And probably take a -4 next week if I still want to get pulisic?
Also, what do you think of my plan of getting pulisic for mount (dendonker for cantwel to free up funds) in gw14 and ryan to henderson in gw 15?
Please advise and thanks so much!!
Upper 90 Studios
22/11/19
Hi. Can understand the problem. Without knowing whether Robertson will play, it’s difficult to point you in a set direction. If he plays, he is a top defender pick this week. For my team, I’m starting him just in case, but I also have TAA!
Crystal Palace have looked pretty flat in the attack in recent games. This was part of the reason for going with double Liverpool defenders a little sooner than planned. Of course now that I said that, watch them light it up against Liverpool.
I like the future plan which tightens up key positions. I may follow your idea with the GK around GW15 if my players comes through unscathed.
Best guess is Liverpool defenders get a return this week, but there are no guarantees. Should you make the swap? I’m stuck on this one because I just don’t know whether Robertson will play. If you stick with him and he doesn’t play, hopefully your first bench player could come in for some points.
I don’t know the answer to this one, only sharing the thoughts on the players and your plan. 👍

Hi Bruno,
53 points last week. not bad but looking to refresh the team.
I have 2 free transfers and 1.3 banked
So current team 4-4-2
Pope (Button)
Lundstrom, Soyu, TAA, PvA (Kelly)
Mane, Sterling, KdB, Mount (D Luiz)
Abraham, Puki, (Greenwood)
so was thinking
Mane out Maddison in; Puki out Vardy in. Gives me 2.9m in bank and no transfer hit
or i could do above and
PvA out and Robertson in. -4 pt hit and 1.5M in the bank
Would appreciate your thoughts
As always thank you.

Hi. I like the idea of selling a premium player to bring in two quality players such as Vardy and Maddison. It relieves the pressure on the premium which could work in the long-run.
My plan is to get Mane this week, so I’m hesitant to suggest others sell him. Your call on this one because it could work.
It’s frustrating not knowing whether Robertson will play this weekend, but I might be safer and wait as he is a doubt.
I like the idea of Vardy+Maddison. How to bring them in is up to you. 👍
