Hi Bruno, thanks for video 🙂
I made 72p this week (149 309 overall rank), but I did big mistake and use my 2 FT for buy Son and didn’t check, that he is injured. So next week I am -4.
My current squad:
Henderson
TAA – van Dijk – Williams – Lundstram
Salah (C) – Perez – Martial – De Bruyne
Ings – Jimenez
bench: Button – Douglas Luiz, Calvert-Lewin, Aurier
transfers: 2FT and -4
Aguero out – Jimenez in
Richarlison out – Son in/out – Martial in
My plan after this week is buy next GK who is number one because Henderson blank week and want to strengthen my bench for bench boost chip and rotate GK option.
Probably will buy in next weeks some LEI player because their schedule.
I am 4.6 money ITB, so have some option. New MUN players on radar.
GL 🙂

Hi. Glad to post it. That’s frustrating with Son, but I’m glad to hear about your score 72pts and strong OR. 👍
Liking your unique team. Hopefully Williams can retain his starting spot, although you have some cover.
As far as the goalkeepers, keep an eye on Pope and McCarthy. Pope might have the edge in the long run after two tricky fixtures coming soon.
Strengthening the bench makes sense at this stage of the season.
Seems like you have a good grasp of your team. Good luck!

Hi Bro,
Great to watch your new video.
I am currently has the similar question about my back defender line (TAA+Rob+Soy+William+Lunny). By preparing the blank gw28, i am tempting to transfer lunny out for someone under 4.4, and with another 0.4 in the bank for updating my goalkeeper into mcCarthy. would you have any thoughts on this? <4.4 defender like Stephens, Lascelles, Saïss or someone else?
My current team:
Henderson (McGovern)
TAA, Robertson, Lundstram (Williams, Söyüncü)
Salah, KDB, Grealish, Martial (Maddison)
Vardy, Ings, Jimenez
Thanks very much

Hi. Thanks! Leaning toward Stephens after watching him and Southampton in recent games. The small concern is Vestergaard looked a bit shaky against Burnley. Not sure if he will continue to start ahead of Bednarek.
I have Lascelles and was set to start him this week. I’m close to moving for Stephens and may actually start him in place of Lascelles now.
Saiss is tricky to assess as he can be a bit of a card magnet, sometimes even red cards. You might also consider leaving Wolves spots open for other players such as Traore or Boly depending on performances.
I would say it’s between Stephens and Lascelles unless your instinct is swaying you to Saiss.
Thanks for the comment. 👍

Hi Bruno,
Great content as always.
How would you rate the team and recommendations on how to improve my defense or any other are of concern.
McCarthy, Mcgovern
VVD, Soy, Rico, Tomori, Kelly
Martial, KDB, Salah, Traore, Cantwell
Firmino, Ings, Vardy.
Thanks.

Hi. Thanks!
Tomori and Kelly on the chopping block. I don’t have a great assessment of Rico at this moment and can’t rate him properly.
I would keep an eye on Jack Stephens, Boly, possibly Lascelles if Newcastle can tighten things up after last week’s defeat.
Midfielders and attackers can be given another run this week. Firmino and Vardy have to deliver for their price. Funds a possible sale could bring in TAA, Robertson or possibly Mane if it doesn’t dig too deep into your squad depth. A Liverpool defense double up feels like a good balance and compromise, but it’s up to you.
Let’s see what happens this weekend as Vardy could be a key player with Leicester’s upcoming fixtures, starting with Norwich GW28 when other key players have a blank.
Not easy to point you in a set direction this week. Those are some thoughts for now. 👍

Henderson (Button)
VvD Robbo Söy (Kelly Lowton)
Salah KdB Grealish Traore (Hayden)
Kun Jimenez Ings
1FT, 0.9. Remove either of Kelly or Lowton, or ride Soy Vs city? Could get in a non blanker.
Other suggestions?

Hi. I might say to bench Soy this week vs. City. Both Kelly and Lowton on the chopping block, although I don’t know the injury status with Lowton.
Replacement ideas are Jack Stephens, Boly, maybe Lascelles if Newcastle can tighten things up again after the 4-0 last week.
Everything else is set for this week. We know what Aguero can do, owners have to accept Pep rotation roulette. If he’s benched too often or blanks, then it’ll be difficult to justify at that price. For now, no required changes in your attack.
A few touch-ups on defense and build from there.

Olá Bruno
56pts for me
Need help for the upcoming game
Richarlison (form) Willian/Mount (fixtures) or Traore(plays 31)
I don’t have the free hit
Also thinking um Armstrong (Stats)

Olá. Leaning toward Traore. Even though he came off the bench, I thought he was the closest to delivering an FPL return that game.
Don’t have a great assessment of Armstrong at this moment, stats and fixtures. I’ll keep an eye on him now, thanks.

Hi Bruno,
Fabulous plan and strategy for the upcoming gameweeks! I also scored 57 pts and am currently in a quandary. Here’s my team:
Ryan (Button)
Lundstram, Baldock, TAA (Lascelles, Kelly)
Salah (c), KDB, Grealish, Maddison (Noble)
Ings (vc), Vardy, Firmino
Here’s what I have in mind and do let me know what you think of the following:
(1) Sell Firmino for Jimenez due Wolves’ excellent upcoming fixtures. This seems like a straightforward swap but a little half-hearted to do so owing to Pool’s fixtures albeit Firmino doesn’t score many. With Mane back, Firmino’s chances may be even more limited.
(2) Firmino & Noble > Jimenez & Traore for a -4 hit. Reasoning is similar to (1) plus doubling up on Wolves as they are one of the few teams guaranteed to play in gw31.
(3) Firmino & Lund/Baldock > Jimenez & VVD/Stephens/Boly/Taylor for a -4 hit.
Sheffield blank in gw28 and I need to get rid of one of the two defenders. Lord Lundy seems to be getting back to form and am leaning towards selling Baldock but as to whether he’ll dislodge Berge is another mystery. If I do so, who would be the ideal replacement? Burnley has got good fixtures in the long run and Taylor is one of the cheapest starting players around.
(4) Firmino & Button > Jimenez and Pope/Patricio
Burnley, like Wolves, are also one of the few teams who will definitely play in gw31 and both keepers are in terrific form.
(5) Any other options
Considering my players after making the aforementioned transfers, do you think it can hold till gw34 where I’ll be playing my Free Hit chip? The plan is to then use the Wildcard in gw36 directly before using the Bench Boost chip for double gw37 and the Triple Captain chip in gw38.
Sorry for the lengthy post and many thanks once again for your valuable feedback!
Good luck and wishing you green arrows for the upcoming gw 💪

Hi. Thanks! Before reading the rest of your comment, it’s a strong team overall.
1) I might prefer a double-up on defense. Firmino isn’t easy to rate. He can do the hard work with less pressure to score, which can be frustrating in FPL.
2) Liking this idea for the long-run. Traore and Jimenez could’ve easily scored double digits GW26, and Traore came off the bench.
3) I’ll most likely bring in Stephens for Tomkins tonight. Not the greatest CS potential, especially if Vestergaard continues to start over Bednarek. Stephens deserved an attacking return GW26 and Southampton are a dangerous attacking side. I have Boly and Taylor on the Watchlist as options in case Stephens or Lascelles disappoint.
4) Solid option.
5) Nothing that tops your ideas.
I haven’t thought very far with the chips, which isn’t great. 🙂 Things can change so quickly that I’m approaching it game by game with a quick glance at future GWs to spot major problems.
I need to get caught up with all the scheduling and teams/players featuring in the blanks and doubles as they get announced. Staying flexible and can’t really offer confident input with the chips at this moment. I might say I prefer the FH and BB for a big Double Gameweek, or at least when key players are featuring. Doesn’t necessarily have to be big-hitters, it could be players fighting to avoid relegation. BB usually last to build Team Value and maximize its effectiveness with the full squad.
As far as the transfer options, any of them can work! Not easy to pick one, leaning toward Option 2, but there is a risk with 2x Wolves attackers. I might start with one Wolves attacker and build from there.

Bruno, thank you for the video. Looking for your thoughts on a potential fork in the road decision…I have 2 FTs 0.1 banked and all my chips
Pope (Button)
TAA, VvD, Lundstram, Fernandez (Tanganga)
Salah, KdB, Traore, Maddison, (D. Luiz)
Ings, Jimenez, Vardy
So I’m coming up with 3 options in order of risk and potential reward.
1) I’m not sure I can rely on Lundstram so although it’s hard, swap him out for Egan or Basham. Keeps 2 FTs
2) Out Maddison and Lundstram for Grealish and Baldock/Stevens so uses the 2FTs but have 0.3 banked.
3) Out KdB (might not play this weekend) and VvD for Mane and O’conell/Egan/Basham. So uses 2 FTs and leaves a little in the bank.
I like 1 and 2 (spreads the risk)…3 is a home run attempt.
Appreciate your thoughts.

Hey, no problem. Not sure about selling KDB, although I can understand the rotation concern. It will be like this for a while, which makes it interesting to have a few key players not involved in other competitions.
Between 1-2 also. At this point, I might say to stick with Maddison who could be a differential GW28 when other important players blank.
Then again, I have both Maddison and Grealish and of course Grealish has the edge now, then he blanks.
Not an easy one. I might also add Jack Stephens and Boly to the mix of alternatives, especially if you need to tighten up the Tanganga spot.

Quick question, who to play, Lascelles/Lundstram or Maddison?
HR
22/02/20
Team would be:
Mccarthy
Lundstram/Lascelles, TAA, Sidebe
Mane, Salah, Traore, Maddison
Auba, Jimenez, Ings
Or
Mccarthy
Lundstram, Lascelles, TAA, Sidebe
Mane, Salah, Traore
Auba, Jimenez, Ings
If option 1, who to play, Lascelles or Lundstram?
Thanks!

Hi. Just caught this before deadline. I don’t have a clear answer to this one.
I can say I have Maddison and Lascelles and I’m benching both. Maddison was quiet last game and faces City. I’m being cautious with Lascelles after he conceded four goals last time out. The positive is his fixture this week is green according to our fixture cheatsheet.
That almost feels like Lundstram could get the nod, but what if he continues to be benched?
Any of them can work. 🤔

Should i sell Maddison or KDB to fund Jimenez or shouldnl i just keep them both
Upper 90 Studios
24/02/20
It depends on the rest of the squad. But I might say to keep Maddison for a good fixture GW28 when other key players have a blank or face stronger opponents.

Hi Bruno, 56pts minus 4 green arrows cant complain. Pls advise on below:
Current team
McCarthy/Button
TAA, Lund*, Dunk, Williams, Tanga
Salah, KDB*, Mahrez*, Son*, Traore
Ings, DCL, Firmino
1FT, 0,4 Itb
options:
a. Firmino + Son + Lund to Jota + Mane + Evans/Saiss? (-8)
b. Firmino + Son + Mahrez to Jota + Mane + Barnes or Bruno or Martial? (-8)
c. Son + Lund to Barnes/Bruno/Martial + Doherty/Evans? (-4)
d. Firmino + Son to Jota + Mane (-4) but will have 3 non-playing plus williams and tanga issue
thx for prompt reply mate

Hi. a. Good overall, the concern is trusting Evans with injuries and Saiss can be card-prone.
b. Might prefer this one over Option a. Maybe some tricky fixtures for United, but they might be ok if they raise their level as they’ve shown earlier on. Wolves have Europa League, but it should be ok for Jota.
c. This could be the best option. Less hits as well. Liking Barnes for the next few games, and Doherty as replacements. Bruno can also work, the note is the fixtures which adds some unknowns.
d. Might prefer to have a few more players with Firmino.
No problem!
