Hey Bruno ,
Thanks for all the advice , it actually helped but unfortunalty i sold werner and he was on fire anyway , I am facing same issues in defence
Now I have 0.1 in Bank 1 free transfer and 313 points overall
Is it wize to lose more points on 2 defenders and a GK ?
Currently I have
McCarthy
Ayling / Justin/Branthwaite / Mitchel and I am keeping TAA
What would u suggest ?

Hey. I moved for Martinez in place of McCarthy. Not you need to for your team, up to you.
TAA, Ayling, Justin should get you through this week. Leicester play in the Europa League on Thursday, hopefully Justin will get a rest. If he disappoints again GW6, I am considering alternatives next week.
Let’s see what Hodgson does at left back now that PVA is back. Mitchell has a chance of keeping his place after solid performances this season.
Those are the notes for now. Small change if needed, nothing major.

Hey Bruno. What up. Great video and great moves last week. Like you I brought in Son for kdb.
Really need help this gw as I’m all over the place.
I have 2FT and 2.4 in the bank.
4/3/3
McCarthy Steer
TAA, Robertson, James, Justin, KWP
Salah, Son, Foden, Bissouma, Reed
Werner, Jimenez, Adams.
Watchlist:
Kane
DCL
Aguero (gw 10)
Antonio (gw 8)
Hamez Rodriguez
Grealish
Kilman
Konsa
Chilwell
Lamptey
What do you think??

Hey. What’s up. Glad to hear about Son.
McCarthy* Steer
TAA, Robertson, James*, Justin, KWP
Salah, Son, Foden, Bissouma, Reed
Werner, Jimenez, Adams
I might look at the GK+DEF for possible changes. But on closer look, I can also understand moves for Kane and/or DCL.
If you think James won’t start consistently, you could consider a value option like Kilman to free up even more funds in a possible move for Kane or DCL. There’s a small chance Kilman isn’t nailed with Saiss and Marçal as competition on the left. It would be harsh if he was dropped after recent performances, but in the long-run, he might be more of an enabler to allow other premium players to come into your team.
It’s difficult to go without Kane when he’s in good form. Spurs have to play Thursday, so let’s see if we get more clues before deadline.
I don’t know the exact changes to make, but I might spot possible weaker links and standout replacements. From the list, I would rate Kane, DCL, Hamez, Kilman, Chilwell (tough GW6).
Martinez Steer
TAA, Robertson, Kilman, Justin, KWP
Salah, Son, Foden, Bissouma, Reed
Kane, Jimenez, DCL
Something like the team above is an idea to work backwards from, but I’d be afraid to suggest selling Werner after he scored 16 points! I wouldn’t know who to drop! Even Adams scored last week…

Hey Bruno!
Glad to hear you’re doing well in the rankings, GW5 I held onto Werner and banked a free transfer, scored 84pts and I’ve finally reach 2mil OR this season 🥳️😅
For GW6 I’m in 2 minds on what to do and was hoping you could weigh in?
Option 1: Using my 2FT(plus 4pt hit?) by selling Harvey Barnes for a >£6mil Mid to free up budget to upgrade 1 or 2 of my £4mil defenders. Despite the great underlying numbers he seems to be the only mid/fwd in my team not inform. The next question is who do I bring in for less than £6mil?
Lookman: Having the extra £2mil is a huge appeal and he definitely passed the eye test against Sheffield, but I’m not sure about Fulham as a team.
Barkley: Aston Villa is looking on fire and Barkley has had a couple great games but is more expensive than Lookman.
Saka: Seem to have the best of both worlds in Lookman and Barkley but I’m not confident about Arteta rotation
Option 2: My team does look in very good shape GW6 so I could wait for another GW to make radical changes to the team. Plus Leicester seem to have a good record against Arsenal (haven’t looked fully in-depth on it yet) and with Vardy likely to return, Barnes has a good chance of getting an assist. It might make sense to keep Barnes an extra week and only do 1 free transfer. I’ve come up with a couple ideas for this strategy but these ideas also have it’s flaws.
KDB -> Sterling: would make sense if KDB is out for the “next few weeks” but Pep has also said Thursday or Friday he might come back. This is peak Pep 😂 I would play Sterling and bench Bamford/Lamptey instead.
Salah -> Mane: Throughout this season I feel Mane has been getting the better chances more frequently but Salah has still produced and has an amazing record at home GW6, Salah might be my 1st choice captain pick.
Mitchell/Dunne -> Kilman: I already have Saiss in my team so I could gamble on Kilman having earned his place in the team despite the injury returns and try for a double Wolves clean sheets.
I love it how my simple questions usually turn into paragraphs 😂 Typing out a comment really helps me think clearer about my FPL plans. So as always I appreciate the time you take to read and respond to every comment, you’re doing amazing work.
Good Luck for GW6 😁😁

Hey! That’s a fantastic score 84pts, nice moves! Hopefully you’ll be out of the millionaires club in the OR by next week. 🙂
Option 1: If you don’t have Aston Villa attack cover, I might pick Barkley as the standout. The other players can also work, I agree with your points.
Option 2: Arsenal and Leicester play in the Europa League on Thursday. We’ll have more clues on form, fitness and possible starters for the weekend.
I wouldn’t even pretend to guess what Pep has in mind for KDB. Salah vs. Mane is another one that I just don’t know who will score each game. Salah is safer with his high ownership stats, Mane a bigger gamble and payoff if it works.
I’m curious to find out what happens with Mitchell and Kilman in the long-run. Could Mitchell keep his place after a solid start to the season? Kilman has competition on the left with Saiss and Marçal, unless he’s nailed in the 3-CB system. 🤔 Dunne could have the lowest chance of starting as Tarkowski is back and now Ben Mee has returned to full training.
I might say to wait until Thursday so we have all the info from the European games. Either option could work, but I wouldn’t be able to choose one at this moment.
It’s the same for me when replying to comments! 👍 It makes me really think things through. What comes out has to be exactly what I think. Good luck!

Ola Bruno,
Great to hear about your gameweek. Those 2 moves were very masterclass moves 🙂 I myself went ahead and activated my wc last week and got rewarded with 95 points. Moved from 1.1m to 300k, which was very exciting! I am thinking about banking my transfer this week since i don’t think there is any pressing issue which needs fixing this week. I do have a dilemma though on who to start from below 3 players? If brewster was playing for a better offensive team, i would have started him definitely but because of sheffield, i am having second thoughts!
KWP or Brewster or Bissouma
Also debating between Kane or Salah captaincy. Who are you inclining towards?
Thank you as always. Have a great gameweek!!
Upper 90 Studios
22/10/20
Ola, thanks. 95 is a monster! Congrats on the OR rise. 👍
James Rodriguez seems to be out this week, don’t know if you have him. Bissouma takes lots of shots and faces West Brom. If Rodriguez is out, plus Richarlison is banned and Coleman is injured, it could increase KWP’s potential. Brewster, I don’t have a good assessment of Sheffield United at the moment. Close between all 3 for different reasons. Stuck on this one!
Leaning toward Kane at this moment. Burnley have key injuries at the back. Watching Spurs now, it’s 2-0 at halftime and Kane is being rested. Thanks!

Hey Bruno,
What do you think of my mate’s wildcard team? She would really appreciate an honest response from someone of your FPL calibre. Anyway, the team is:
Guaita
Robertson Saiss Lamptey
Son Salah Rodriguez Barkley
Kane Calvert-Lewin C. Wilson
With a bench of Button, Matt Targett, Bissouma and a 4.0m defender
Cheers!

Hey. Thank you for the nice words.
The bench is light, but I can see the idea to invest more funds on the starting XI at this stage of the season. GK+DEF are well set. No weaknesses in the attack.
The main issue is now we have news that Rodriguez is a major doubt for GW6 with injury. Need more time to think this through for my own team, and it’s a wrench to the plans for those on a Wildcard. I would aim for Rodriguez as a long-term option and it’s hard to drop him if he’s only out for one game, especially for those with value tied up on him. Dropping him now could mean bringing him back at a higher price next week.
Those are the notes for now. Thanks!

Good momentum you have, Nice to see! Would you remove Jimenez for Kane for -4 hit?
Upper 90 Studios
22/10/20
Thanks! I don’t have a confident prediction on Jimenez. It’s less about his individual potential and more about the setup Nuno has been using at Wolves. More possession, less counter attacks. He played 8 defensive players in the last game…
It’s so difficult because I’m happy to keep Jimenez, but I have Kane!
If I didn’t have either player, I would be more afraid of teams with Kane than Jimenez. But be prepared to accept that Jimenez can sneak in a goal out of nothing.
Kane has one of the highest ceilings in the game, so I would be tempted to take a chance against a Burnley side with injuries to key defenders.

Hi Bruno
Firstly well done on another great 83 point gameweek score, you are doing amazing…..onwards and upwards!.
I continued my attacking strategy, by clearing non playing players and selecting form or plum fixtures.
GW5 green arrows, from.3.3m to 3m, with 81 points.The great comeback has begun….
Still need some big attacking/ differential returns to catupult up the rankings….Im thinking Man City or Mane……..🤔.
Here’s my current team after two early transfers, for Kilman and Rodriguez to beat the price rises.
Rodriguez injury is so poor timee, just when I brought him in.😲
Martinez, ( Forster)
Chillwell, Saiss, Lamptey, (Kilman), (Dunne)
Salah, Son, Grealish, Rodriguez*, ( Stephens)
Kane, DCL, Maupay
ITB- 4.1m
1. With Rodriguez injury, is he confirmed definitely out for this gameweek 6?.
If so, 1 of 3 plans Im considerring:
a) Leave Team As Is, elevating Kilman as a starter…..is he though guaranteed to start and score well?. Does options b or c below perhaps not have more points potential, even with a 4 point hit?
b) Rodriguez > Sterling or Mane
Is Sterling more nailed on, now that he appears to be captain?
Who has higher points potential, Sterling or Mane?
c) Maupay> Aguero & start Kilman.
Motivated by Aguero low price, differential, penalties, and explosiveness. Is this though worth a 4 point hit, vs Maupay whos currently in my team?.
2. Captain- Salah, at home vs Sheffield?. Unless Im ballsy and go with Aguero or Sterling if I bring one of them in. Surely a Man City player will get a points haul sometime soon.Your view and how you would rank the captaincy, options given my rank and needing to move up the rankings?.
Your valued feedback on the above and any other views on my team would be appreciated.
PS: I was expecting you to say “epic” at the end of the video, I see you changed it to “incredible”🙂.
Keep up the great work, buddy!

Hi. Thank you! That’s funny with the outro on the video. I alternate between the two words.
That’s a top strategy and score 81pts, congrats 👍
1. Good news it seems. Ancelotti hasn’t ruled out Rodriguez for GW6 on Friday’s press conference. It seems he could be in light training with a chance to play.
a) Might say to keep Rodriguez as a starter, similar to the situation with Son a few weeks ago. If he plays, he has scoring potential.
b) Leaning toward sticking with him, but it’s up you because premium players can deliver big swings in points.
c) Rodriguez+Maupay vs. Aguero+Kilman. Assuming they all play, the first set could be safer. Second has a high ceiling with Aguero, a bigger gamble that could also work.
2. I might not focus too much on the OR when setting captaincy. It’s still early in the season, so much will change and there are the chips to stir things up at some stage. Salah is a top captain pick and always a safe option to trust. I can see him scoring, so trust yourself over anyone’s advice.
With the big decisions, I can only speak for my team. I have it set on Kane captain, Salah vice at the moment. Kane was fully rested midweek and he faces Burnley with key injuries at the back. Team form… Spurs look like they can score with every attack. Liverpool can also brush aside any team, so it’s not straight forward. I’m happy to have both players and hope they both score big! Son is also in the mix and City players have a high ceiling making them calculated risks that could work.
Thanks!

Hi brunooo…
Mehn
I haven’t contacted you about my team this season.
I guess that why I have a bad start to the season haha…
Thanks for last season’s achievement…I ranked 17k and topped my mini leagues.
So I’m on 293 points so far and 1M on the OR…
I decided to hit the wildcard button this week cause my team needs reinforcement.
Here
Gk: Martinez
D:PVA, Robbo, Digne
M:Grealish, Salah, JRG, Son
F:Kane, Maupay, DCL
Sub:Foster, Kilman, Bissouma, Struijk
I’ve got 0 ITB
1. Do I make a downgrade at any position to have at least some money left in the bank incase of any upgrades and all
If Yes, which position would you say I change and who do you recommend?
2. Concerning PVA, was shocked how he didn’t come on on Sunday.
But I’m taking a risky pick at him..
He’s playing Fulham and he’s ownership is really low…more of a big differential if he starts
Should I take him off? Or keep.
3.Rodrigues injury prolly hits everyone…I just brought him inn
Would you suggest I go for a better option since is out?
Options like Foden who plays Westham. Or just stick around with JRG hoping he will be fit for next game.
4. Captain: if at all there’s any reason I’m this low on the OR, it’s cause of my Captaincy decision…I’ve being giving the wrong player the armband week in week out…
Salah plays a shity Shielffied def compared to last season at home
Kane plays Burnley who are without key defs away…
Grealish on the otherhand a differential at home to Leeds who have conceded the most shots in the box. Whereas Grealish is the player with the most shot in the box
Maupay too is worth a punt
Home to a weak Westbrom defence. Also a big differential
Please who would you recommend i give the armband?
Congrats on ur back to back 83points too.
Thanks in advance!

Hi. Welcome back! That’s amazing with your achievement last season, 17k OR and top in the mini-leagues. 🏆💯
1. Don’t think so. I like it as is. The only possible change I might keep an eye on in the future could be starting a 4.5m defender (Leeds?), but that’s not required because I prefer your picks.
2. I’m most likely going for it with PVA, no guarantees he’ll start. It seemed like Palace were heading toward a clean sheet until the 90th min goal, which might explain why he never came on. Palace looked a bit flat in the attack, so I’m hoping Hodgson injects a bit of energy into the team with PVA. I’m set to confirm it after replying to comments here and checking the press conferences one last time.
3. Ancelotti gave another update today and hinted that Rodriguez could play GW6. He might be back in training? I have to watch his exact words again. Leaning toward keeping him, but it’s up to you. I wouldn’t like it if he ends up not playing when you could’ve taken a short-term replacement.
4. I can only speak for my plan, and I’m taking a chance on Kane captain. Fully-rested midweek against a Burnley side with defensive problems. Spurs look like they can score with every attack. I have Salah as a strong vice.
Those are the notes for now, thanks for the great comment!

Hi Bruno,
Playing my WC this GW and below is my team. Any suggestions, changes please

Salah/Son/Barkley/Podence/Bissouma
Aguero/Kane/DCL
Thanks as always.

Hi. I like this idea. The only smallest note is hopefully Podence keeps his place. Thought he was unlucky not to deliver returns last game and it would be harsh if he was dropped.
Either way, there’s plenty of firepower in your side (KUN KANE) which should pull you through.
Good luck. -Bruno
