• Nearly there! Two free transfers from Plan A to be confirmed before Friday night’s price changes. There is a change in Plan B. If I take a hit, it won’t be to sell Digne. Thinking ahead of next week’s potential transfers requires a different swap this week. I’ll post it as soon as it’s confirmed.
• No transfers confirmed yet. Two free transfers this week to get back on track. GW9 transfer plan, or Plan A, revealed on the video. Plan B is to sell Digne for Pereira for a -4 hit.

Hi! It’s been difficult with the points coming from different players every week. The averages have been so low!
Considering everything that has happenned, your team is in decent shape. No significant concerns at this moment.
Keep an eye on Otamendi. He was out with injury GW9, but he has to at least start consistently for the price. The positive is the next two fixtures for City.
Wilson and Pukki have to earn their place or Jimenez is high on the Watchlist.
These are the only notes, no changes required until we have a more clear idea of the direction to take. Without consistency and form, it’s about luck and that’s not how I’ve ever played the game. Always making decisions based on what I’m seeing from watching games and doing the research. Even if it doesn’t work, I feel I made the right moves to improve the squad. You can take the same approach without regrets.

I have Mane and Firmino but I’m worried about Firmino losing value. Who do you think is the best forward to bring in to replace him for gameweek 10 and onward bearing in mind i have money in the bank to get whoever.

I just want to say given the topsy turvy inconsistent season this year, its great having your positive views on the blog and video.
You are a true inspiration to us all, not only in FPL, but in life…..

Margins are so small and there are still a massive 29 weeks left…lots of points to earn.
My GW9 wasnt good, with 36 points,now down to 3.2m, but expected after my 16 point hit……my worst ever rank, worse ever before in prior years was around 2m.
I need to tackle Everest now!
Heres my current team:
Ryan,( Button)
Tomori, Soyunci, Lundstrom, Rico
Salah, Mane, Sterling, De Bruyne,( Cantwell)
Wilson, Abraham, (Greenwood)
What are your thoughts on my team?.
My possible options considerring for GW10 are:
1)Salah, Greenwood, Cantwell* > Hudson Odoi, Aubamayeng, Dedoncker( -8)
*Or keep Cantwell and Ryan > Gazzaniga/ Roberto
Aubas good fixtures being the main drawcard. Roberto’s fixtures also look good unlike Gazzaniga who has Liverpool up next.
2) Salah, Greenwood > Firmino and Maddison(-4)
3) Salah, Greenwood> D Silva and Vardy( -4)
4) Make no changes and roll transfer to facilitate one of above options in GW11.
5) Any other recommended options not considered above
Let me know your views on above.
Captain option, Im thinking between Sterling and Abraham. Your views?.

I’m feeling the same, around 2.5m right now…
1. Leaning toward keeping Salah who cored Wednesday on his return from injury. At first glance, Auba has easier fixtures. On a closer look inspection, our fixture cheatsheet shows orange and red fixtures. Not that he can’t score of course!
2. Prefer Salah.
3. Salah the best.
4. Yes, liking this idea.
5. None.
Sterling is the top captain pick after the Tuesday hat-trick and two assists.

Another tough and unpredictable gameweek(9) just beat the average by a point.
i banked a transfer so now the real headache begins haha, i’m not opposed to making 3 transfer taking a -4. my team below what would you do with the 2 free , i’m thinking of getting in sterling and selling aguero sad that he unsure of game time would love to have kun he can be such a great differential so this makes me worried to sell or not.my team below.

Yes, it was shocking to see 13 out of 15 of my players blank!
I’m doing exactly that, moving for Sterling who will likely be my captain. Aguero is a top pick, assuming he starts! As mentioned on the new video, Jesus has 21 goals in his last 20 starts. It’s a matter of time until he shares starts with Aguero at the Etihad.
Your decision in the end. After failing to gain ground with Aguero and Son, I’m going in a new direction. I also don’t want to lose more ground against strong managers during this unpredictable period.

46 points for gameweek 10 not the best. i have a couple of issues pukki,cantwell,digne,otamendi and pope.
thinking of saving a transfer and taking care of the issues next week but the price increases on leicester and man united assets are rising. pukki digne and otamendi all have good upcoming fixtures so not sure how to move this week, could move for James barnes or tielmans in exchange for otamendi/digne for cantwell that would mean a -4 alternatively i could go for chilwell for otamendi/digne but this will mean not having a 5th strong mid (james/perez/tielemans)
as you can tell my mind is full of fpl transfer haha.
anyway advice will be apreciated!

Ola. Know the feeling, it hasn’t been easy.
Pope should be ok now that he has 3 good fixtures. Digne has been such a letdown, can’t believe another negative return. Otamendi is the priority as I don’t know if he will start. He is the one I’ve sold this week, and I’ve gone for Chilwell for Leicester City cover.
I wanted to wait until GW13 for a Leicester defender, but Otamendi sort of forced me to go early. That’s an option for your side also.
From the mids on your list, I prefer James and Barnes/Tielemans.

GW 11 saw me get a just above average of 54. I made some bad choices which are my own fault , you advised i get rid of Otamendi for Chilwell , I was greedy and wanted to bank the transfer and get clean sheet form Otamendi he did play for a whole minute these are the decisions that really make FPL depressing lost my mini leagues top spot also!! i made a “rage transfer” on saturday got in janmaat for otamendi to maximise value thinking i should have just went for soyoncu , anyway whats done is done . so i used 1 od the 2 transfers (janmaat for Ota) with the other im not sure how to move with it . thinking pukki and sterling for vardy and maddison.
any advice will be highly appreciated, thank you in advance and as usual great content!!

Ola. If Otamendi was guaranteed to start, he would’ve been a top defender pick last week. Your decision could’ve worked out.
I like Janmaat as a player, and he can pitch in with attacking returns. If he stays fit, it could work well. That’s the only concern, his injury record.
Maddison and Vardy are two of three players on my transfer plan this week. Taking a big hit to get back on track.
Need an update on Mount’s ankle injury. I have Vardy in my sights against Arsenal and have to free up funds by sacrificing a premium mid. I’m leaning toward keeping Sterling and selling Salah, but there are risks keeping either between fixtures and yellow cards…

Gameweek 12 saw me come out with a respectable 65 points (69 -4 with a hit), i hate taking hits but with chasing down league leaders it has to be done i think . simple question this week i still own Pukki , i can go straight to jimenez but i also have salah who seems to have an injury , assuming salah misses the palace game would you sell him to mane? or is it time for another -4 to remove salah and pukki to jimenez and mane not sure how to move this week want to get my mini league top spot back haha.
any advise appreciated other than what i asked. i also been loosing points on the bench so i have issues with selcted the right first 11. how would you start my team for gameweek 13 thank your time and great work as always !

Olá. Sorry for the late reply, used this time to take a nice break.
Know the feeling, I took a -12 hit last week. My only move could be to bring in Mane, so I like your plan. Salah is a major doubt now according to Sky sports.
Jimenez is in great form, I’d say to go for the players you can trust. The hits are harder to justify, but we also have to enjoy playing the game. 👍

A solid gameweek with 68pts (-4 ) for gameweek 13. Transfered out Salah and Pukki for Mane and Jimemnez, sadly i lost out out Cantwells 10 point haul he was my last sub Norwich couldn’t buy an away goal and they go and get 2 at Goodison madness!!! lol.
On to this week I see my team as almost fully template now sadly i cannot afford Son and he looks really really dangerous, problem with a template team is that most of my mini league consist of these lads so making up points becomes difficult. Rashford also looks to be dangerous. I have Digne which looks like my main issue this week thinking of bringing in Chilwell for him ,

Ola. I was shocked to see Cantwell deliver after so many blanks. It was a reasonable decision to bench him. Nice moves with Mane and Jimenez.
You’re right about Son and Rashford. I might be moving for Son this week in order to continue making up ground. I’m aiming at a few key differentials after tightening up the rest of the squad.
Prefer Chilwell over Digne, especially with the doubts over Marco Silva. Digne’s scoring potential also seems to be affected by Sigurdsson who can take over some set pieces.
That’s the main transfer to consider. Everything else is set.
