Gameweek 23 Score! 51 points (AVG: 44). It’s time for the Double Gameweek!!! I’ve confirmed a transfer with Robertson, Mane and Firmino on my Watchlist and a quick deadline DGW24. Triple Captain Chip?
FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM TIPS FOR 2019-20
FPL GW24 Team
🚨 Final GW24 Team! 🚨
Transfers OUT: Chilwell
Transfers IN: Robertson
***UPDATE: Transfer confirmed, Chilwell out for Robertson with an eye on the mini Double-Gameweek and the long-term. Could’ve gone for Firmino, but the original plan was to then shift him to Rashford. Rashford is not an option with the injury. Mane required a hit and deep cuts to the team depth, although he could do well this round. Triple Captain Chip is active! Thanks for watching and good luck!!! 👍💯 -Bruno
EDIT: Late change!!! Ings was rumored to be benched, so I brought Traore into the starting XI. Not enough time to update here. Some wild lineup news already… Ings, Lundstram and Aguero all benched!

GW24 Watchlist.
Here are some notes on players in my Watchlist, along with top picks and high-risk players to avoid.
Rashford, Richarlison and Sarr are ruled out of GW24 with injuries.
Virgil van Dijk (15PTS). Towering header and he nearly scored minutes later from a Trent free kick. Van Dijk has scored more league goals than any other defender since the start of last season, so he is a solid option for DGW24.
Sadio Mane (3PTS). Second blank in a row. His best chance came in the 44th minute when he was put in by Salah and denied by De Gea with a kick save.
Roberto Firmino (2PTS). Similar to Salah, he worked hard, but United denied him clear cut opportunities by getting back in numbers and pressing players as a team. He did curl a beauty into the far post, but it was ruled a foul by van Dijk on De Gea.
Leandro Trossard (10PTS) has been on my radar for a few weeks now and becomes an alternative to free up funds at £5.8m.
Sergio Aguero (13PTS). Well-taken brace in the end, although City were frustrated by Crystal Palace until that first goal. Then the game became more stretched near the end and City created better chances to score.
Riyad Mahrez (1PT) Last week, I said I was holding off on City players, Sterling would have to come back at some point. This time Mahrez was victim of Pep roulette, 1-point cameo from the bench.
Raheem Sterling (2PTS) had one of his worst performances of the season. It will be interesting to see who starts the next game. Based on form, Mahrez should have the edge over Sterling.

Hi Bruno,
Awesome video once again. Great to hear about your above average score and the green arrow. I had a bad gw with 35 points and fell even more behind my ML rival. I am now 80 points behind, all though they have used all their chips. I feel like i really need start taking risks to catch up. I know everyone in my ML will be captaining mane this week. I have mane, TAA, Robertson myself and i am highly tempted to go with TAA triple captain for the differential points. Please let me know what do you think. Thanks as always.

Hi Bruno
I also had a 51 point GW23, despite a captain fail, in my case, Sterling, when I had Aguero. But no looking back, just ahead, 14 gameweeks and 4 chips to make a difference and climb up majorly from the multimillionaires club……
My current team after bringing in Salah for Sterling is:
Mcarthy,( Button)
TAA, Gomez,Sidibe,( Rico), (Kelly)
De Bruyne, Salah, Maddison, Grealish,(Traore)
Aguero, Vardy, Ings.
Your thoughts on my team overall and for DGW24?. Do you think best starting 11?
Some points I require your expert opinion on :
1. Do you think Klopp might rest some of his starters for one of the 2 DW24 matches?. The Liverpool matches are though strangely 6 days apart. I have Gomez and am a bit worried he might give Matip a start?. I can bring in Robertson in place of Gomez but will mean a -8 point hit…..I dont think worth it or you think go for it as Robos assists could make up hits, his certainty to play and as long term I want Robo back?.
2. Do you think Aguero(after starting, last 2 matches and scoring 5 goals)Ings (Hassenhutl hinted at resting some players and Sidibe( came on from the bench in GW23) will all start GW24?
3. Thoughts on using triple captain chip DGW24?. Liverpool play Wolves and West Ham, possibly 1 tight game and 1 more open game with chances.
4. TAA vs Salah captain/triple captain for DGW24?. Im thinking of TAA with cleansheet and assist potential. This might also help me makeup ground, if a differential, unless most do the same .
Your valued feedback and insights on above would be appreciated.

Hi. Hopefully the chips can make a dent. I like the way you’ve set it, including bench order.
1. Yes, good recovery time in between. I’m not expecting heavy rotation, but we never know. Slight concern with Gomez now that Matip is back. I don’t know if Klopp plans on bringing him straight back in, although I would find it harsh to drop Gomez as they have been solid defensively since he came back. Not sure if the additional hit could be worth it for the DGW without knowing who is starting. I might think of it as a long-term move if you take the extra hit. It’s more reasonable to justify it. 🙂
2. Surprised to see Sidibe on the bench in the last game. Everton defenders have a few favorable fixtures now and I would imagine Sidibe will return. Aguero has a great chance of starting on current form, but we never know with Pep. Ings I might say has the highest chance of being benched. After praising Ings’s fitness levels, Hasenhüttl said: “It doesn’t mean that Ings should play in the future every game. We have now again a tough schedule in the next week, Crystal Palace on Tuesday, we’ll have a look. Especially our two strikers, they have to do a lot of running against the ball.”
3. I’m 50/50 split with using the TC chip. Don’t like seeing the two away games, but West Ham is green for Liverpool attackers according to our fixture cheatsheet. It also felt better when David Martin was in goal, Randolph feels like a lift for the Hammers. This is a decision I’ve been struggling with for a few weeks. I don’t have a solution yet.
4. Similar situation, no solid inclination either way, although I might place a little more trust on the attacker. There’s a chance they could end up with similar points total at the end of the round.

Olá Bruno , tudo bem ?
Happy to hear about your Score ! Mine was terrible, 39pts and lost the second place of my mini league . At least benching Martial didn’t hurt !
I’ve done Alli + Martial to Salah plus (4.4 fodder) I hope I don’t regret , but the Liverpool’s fixtures so good so green
Good luck

Olá, bem obrigado.
Well, at least your team didn’t drop so far behind with the low average of 44pts. Liking the move for Salah for the DGW, and I hope he scores many goals for you. I’m not biased at all saying that! 🙂
Good luck!

Hi Bruno,
I need your help as I have been stuck in the mud and gaining no traction in moving up in my league. I am using my free hit chip this weke to get tripe LIV players in my lineup and looking for a massive gameweek to make up some ground. My current lineup after free hit is:
Foster (button)
holgate TAA(v) robertson (tomkins, baldock)
Mount, KDB, Maddison, Salah (c), Grealish
Vardy, Ings (greenwood)
Did an overhaul of the team where my original team had jimenez, ryan, soyuncu. I am wondering if there is anything you are thinking I should change. I have been go back and forth with mount and if he is the best option at the moment as my 5th midfielder. I was thinking trossard or doucoure for a differential option. I appreciate everything you do for the channel. Keep up the good work!

Hi. Strong team overall, almost wish you could keep it in the long run if wasn’t for the FH.
The only note is what you mentioned, Mount. Since it’s just one week, I don’t see a major concern going with Mount. If it was for 2-3 games, I might take a chance on Trossard, beginning with a struggling Bournemouth side next. I can say that Trossard makes my Watchlist, Mount does not, but it doesn’t mean Mount can’t do well.
Doucoure’s scoring potential could decrease a little now that Sarr is out with a hamstring problem. He was vital to their attack, drawing attention which allowed other players space to do some damage.
The only decision left might be Mount vs. Trossard, and it’s super close! I’d hate to point you toward one, then he blanks while the other scores! No other games to fall back on, the FH is a one-time chance. Those are the notes on the players, your call on the final choice.
Thanks, great to hear that about the channel. I will. 👍

Hi Bruno, I’m looking to replace Chillwell and Soyuncu. Other defenders in my team are Robbo, Kelly & Lundstram. Apart from Trent. Could you please show me 2 better replacements for long term . Many Thanks,

Hi. With both, I can see wanting to reduce the risk. Of course, the next fixture is green for Leicester defenders. Still, Chilwell has been missing games unexpectedly, and at his price, that position has to be reliable.
Digne is on my Watchlist and I considered bringing him in with my other free transfer. I chose not to because I already have a solid starting XI this week, and I might want 2FTs next week if certain players don’t deliver.
One idea is to keep one of them for the last green Leicester fixture before they turn for the worse. Consider Digne. It doesn’t make sense this week as they play City, but next week, a possible double up on Sheffield United defenders (unless you already have GK Henderson).
I might look at the defense as a whole instead of just two new defenders, then plan to strengthen it overall, possibly spreading out the moves. For example, a small tweak like using a non-playing 3.9m defender in the last defender slot could free up funds to choose between Robertson vs. TAA, or Kelly vs. Tomkins. Williams is another interesting one for the Watchlist as a cheap enabler, but there are no guarantees he will keep starting over Shaw.
See if you can draw up some drafts for the short and long-term with some of these thoughts. Cheers. 👍

Hey Bruno,
Tough decision.
Should use free hit or triple captain for the DGW24?

Hey. Leaning toward the TC chip as the FH might come in handy when there are more teams involved in a Double Gameweek. Trust your instinct as our teams are different. For example, if you don’t have enough Liverpool players for DGW24, the FH could work.

Hi, It’s interesting to see a team with a look at the long-run, not just the mini DGW.
Love the forwards, wouldn’t want to face off against them this week. 👍
I don’t know if Tanganga will be a consistent starter for Spurs, although he has hit the ground running. Kelly may also not be 100% safe as other Palace defenders return from injury, although it could work while they are out.
Lucas has a great chance with Norwich up next. But if it doesn’t work out, and depending on performances, consider the cheaper Trossard which could allow an upgrade at the back. I have Hayden and Dendoncker on my Watchlist as the cheapest midfield enablers.
Minor notes, just another idea to free up funds in midfield to touch up the defense. Nothing required to change now, only to compare to your draft.

Hi Bruno, would you start Noble instead of Traore just to gamble with a WH-player for the DGW?
Upper 90 Studios
21/01/20
Hi. Noble can pitch in with a penalty and the odd goal, but he can also be strong with his challenges which can lead to bookings. Not the easiest player to assess.
Traore against Liverpool is difficult to predict, so yes, Noble could work as a gamble if you have him.

Hey Bruno,
This is how my team look like for DGW.
Ryan
Robertson TAA Kelly
Maddison Mané KDB Traoré Grealish
Vardy Ings
Bench:
Krul Greenwood Lundstram Rico
Thoughts? Should I captain Mané or TAA? Right now, TAA is my captain. Should I use Triple captain chip or bench boost chip?
Thanks and Good Luck.😊

Hey. It’s excellent for the mini DGW and the long-run. 👍
Between the two chips, leaning toward TC as the BB chip could be useful later on in a Double Gameweek involving more teams. You could potentially have a higher Team Value then to strengthen the squad even more.
I’m still undecided on the captaincy and whether to use the TC, so I can’t point you in a set direction yet. In my case, it’s between Salah and TAA.
I’m still replying to all the comments and messages, then I’ll come to a final decision. Not easy this week.
Good luck!

Hi bruno, just a question please.
Who’s better for this gw, grealish or doucoure?
Thanks alot!!

Hi. Frustrating that Sarr picked up a hamstring injury, which could affect Doucoure’s scoring potential.
Leaning toward a gamble on Grealish, but it’s close as Watford have been playing well.
Good luck!!!
